Myra's Pov

"That is a really daunting task you ask of the people around you..." Fathers voice rang again now. "It won't be that easy to just make all the bad things that have happened disappear..." he said. "Giving you space would only leave you even more alone with your thoughts...and asides being able to see them already, I can guess they aren't pleasant..."

His voice was calmer; lowering in volume and increasing in depth. He now almost sounded like the inner voice in my head itself. And it felt so strange. I knew he was my father, and that we were family; as well as the fact that we were meant to see each other's thoughts for our own safety, but I hated the constant intrusion. I didn't like him being able to breach my subconscious anytime he preferred. I hated it even more as it was one-sided. He could see my thoughts but for some reason, I just couldn't see his?
