CHAPTER NINETY-EIGHT

Noah's Pov

Colin soon came out and now frowned all the way at me from the front door. He stood resting on one of the two pillars that held the porch roof, and now in changed clothes. He smirked as his brows went down squinting; watching me heave in fatigue.

"You seem stressed..." he laughed, shaking his head. "Need a hose?..."

I looked up and saw him in a simple shirt and trousers, both in different shades of blue. He wore a new tie and striped in black and white, and now stood with his hands folded in his pockets.

"I don't want you to pass out because of something I said you know..." he chuckled.

I turned to face him squarely now, raising myself off my knees as I straightened up slowly. I squinted in his direction from the stress inside me and the light of the sun blocking my eyes from above me.

"Haha, very funny..." I replied, groaning. I wasn't laughing, and was neither in the mood for jokes but I still answered him.
