Keegan groaned for the umpteenth time. “Remind me to throw a lot of things at Mason when we return. He wouldn’t stop mind linking me.” He complained.

I chuckled and shoved the last bag into the car trunk.

“He keeps saying that we should head back quickly. Does he expect us to just teleport right there and now?” He rolled his eyes.

The driver Keegan had hired to drive us to the airport walked up to us and waved his hands.

“Hello. I’m Mike and I’m at your service.” He said with a warm smile.

“Great. We’re heading to the airport like I already said. Are you ready now?” Keegan asked.

“Sure, the car key?” he asked and Keegan threw it to him. He caught it without stress and opened the door to the driver's seat to get into it.

I heaved a sigh as I stared back at the beach house. “I feel so sad that I’m leaving the beach house. I've made memories here and there that I can never forget.

“Me too. It gave me the opportunity to discover new qualities in me through you, so it’s also a grea

The party was such a big deal for the pack members and many werewolves. It was an annual couples' party hosted in different packs each year that most werewolves looked forward to. I had never been involved in these things, so I had never really paid attention to it, but now that I was attending, I had to pay more attention and assist in preparation here and there. It was going to be hosted in Diamond pack this year. A lot of people were making arrangements on their clothes, shoes, their movement, and were trying to attend to the work they had to do before leaving, and many more things. With Keegan’s resumed grumpy attitude, I didn’t feel like attending the party with him anymore, but of course I couldn’t break the agreement. I had agreed to go there if we went on a vacation and we had gone on the vacation. I did a few more chores then decided to go on a walk to enjoy the natural breeze outside. I also took a little cash from Mrs. Bea so I could grab something from the store on my w

~ KEEGAN ~“So what’s the emergency?” I asked Mason, shoving my hands into the pocket of my pants while I gazed around to see if there was any noticeable damage. “There was an issue with the fountain and the new building construction, but I’ve been able to address the issue with the fountain. For the building, you’ll need to meet with the constructors, but before then, I’d like to discuss with you about Vladimir.” He said, glancing around to make sure there was no one around. “Spit it out.” “While you were on your vacation, I had traced Vladimir down to the forest and after he waited for a while, Mr. Gray finally arrived.” “My father?” I asked for clarification and he nodded. “In this pack forest?” “Yes.” The fact that he had stepped into my pack land made an explosion happen in my head. My fists clenched and I nodded for him to proceed. “Then Vladimir told him that he has found her, the person Mr. Gray is looking for. He claimed that the person had a kind of special gift that

My jaw had dropped to the floor at the moment and my heart was beating way faster than normal. What he had just done could be tagged as what the humans will call proposing to their partner. Accepting your rejected mate was like recovering a lost fate. I didn’t see this coming at all. He really wanted to be my mate? That was an eternal commitment. “Being my mate is a lifelong commitment. Are you certain you’ll be able to go on with it?” I asked. “Yes, I’m very certain. I’ve had deep thinking and my wolf and I feel connected to you, your soul, everything that has to do with you. Do you accept it and revoke your rejection?” I nodded, feeling tears welling up in my eyes. I wasn't expecting this as his surprise at all. Did he really think I was worth being his mate? It made me feel extremely special, like I was of great importance. I was at the peak of my joy at this point. I didn't want to end our relationship after the vacation and it hurt me that it had to end, but this felt even g

I was extremely scared but when I raised my head and stopped screaming, I realized it was just a young and very beautiful child, her straight ash brown hair was dangling against my face as she covered my mouth with her hands. “What the heck?” I removed her hands from my mouth. “I’m so sorry.” She rose to her feet and extended her small hand to me. Though I didn’t need it, I still held her hand to support myself to my feet, frowning as I cleared off dust from my dress. “Who are you? What are you doing here all alone? And most importantly, why did you have to pull me so hard to make me fall?” I complained. “I’m really sorry. Please forgive me. I didn’t want you to shout and draw attention to me.” Her emerald eyes were glassy with tears as she held onto the strap of the backpack behind her really tight.“Who are you?” I asked again, this time with all seriousness.“I’m Rylee. Please don’t kill me. I just need somewhere to stay from my pack. My parents died and my old pack want to des

“I love my new roles and mostly the office. I glanced ahead of me, appreciating the beautiful view of the sky from the window. “The best thing about it is that it's right beside your office.” I flashed a smile at him. “Yes, I did that so I can check up on you all the time and will make sure you're safe." He asserted. There was a knock on the door and it turned out to be none other than Mrs. Bea. “Good afternoon Alpha and…” her gaze settled on me, and she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, probably wondering whether or not she could call me Luna or mutt like she was used to. “Good afternoon.” she simply added. "Good afternoon. Is there anything else you need?" "Yes Alpha. I just realized and regarding the chores, now that she’s not the omega, who will attend to them?"“I almost forgot that.” He glanced at me. “It’d be best if we assign people that’ll be willing and ready to do it and will be paid for their services, not out of forced labor.” I suggested. She frowned and glanced a

“W-what are you doing Scarlett?” I stuttered as she stormed to me. “What am I doing? Aren’t I supposed to be asking you that question?" She asked through gritted teeth. “What do you mean?”She stopped in front of me, flipping the knife over her fingers without falling it. “You, Jane, you promised me not to bother and that Keegan would be mine. You assured me that nothing was going on between both of you, but guess who is now his mate? Not me, no, you are!” She pointed the knife at me with hurt and rage flashing in her blue eyes. I flinched back from her with my hands lifted. “Can you at least drop the knife?”“The knife changes nothing, I just want to talk. How can I possibly kill you? I'm not a terrible person like you. I just need to let you know that you’re the worst friend ever and you betrayed me.“I helped you out in your time of need but when you knew how much I love Keegan and you could have the chance to repay me by helping me out in achieving my goal of becoming his Luna,

“So Mae has been working here without a complete degree, isn’t that unfair?” Keegan said while typing away on his laptop. “What do you mean?” “She’s just graduating, duh, so she hasn’t received her graduation certificate yet.” I chuckled and made my hair into two French braids and wore two gold earrings that were going to match my necklace and blue knee-length dress. “Will you be returning today?” He asked, still not taking his gaze off his laptop. “Today?” I huffed. “When we went for Scarlett's parent’s wedding anniversary party, was the entire time spent traveling back and forth a day?” I folded my arms across my chest. He only chuckled and still didn’t raise his head. I wanted to know what he thought of my appearance but didn’t want to sound too desperate this time. “If there’s one thing I’m excited about, it’s that Vladimir is returning to his pack and not trying to make my life a mess as always.” “Yes, I agree.” What the hell was I even saying? Though I had been thinking about Chloe’s advice throughout the week, I still hadn’t had time to work towards the training because since I returned to the pack house, my role now as Luna was bulky because I had to attend to so many things and set a few things right. Though I still loved it more than being an omega, it was also very exhausting People had been hired to take over my chores as omega as were going to be paid bi-weekly. I already calculated the cost for the orphanage and scheduled when I was going to attend to a few other things till break arrived. I leaned back in my chair with a deep breath. There was a knock on my door and Mae and Ava were standing by the widely opened door with cups of coffee in Ava’s hands. “Can we come in, Luna Jane?” Mae asked jokingly. “Stop being so silly and hop in.” I grinned, glad I had company again. They walked in and Mae sat on my table while Ava sat on the chair across mine. “This place is so beautiful and spacious, though I still lov

~ JANE ~ (11 YEARS LATER) “HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, SWEETHEART!” Keegan said the moment I woke up, wrapping his arms around me and captured my lips into a kiss. I was startled since of course, I just woke up, but I shook it off and returned his kiss. “Happy anniversary.” I said when I pulled away, stretching. We had arrived at the beach house with our friends and family two days ago. Since it was where our love developed, it held a special place in our heart, so we decided to celebrate our Eleventh wedding anniversary here. “Guess what I found?” he asked and he had a really bright smile that made me have a good feeling about today already. “What is it?” You know how much I hate guesses.” He arched his back to pick up something from the floor then placed a box on my lap. “What is it?” I asked again. “Just open it.” He rolled his eyes at me. I chuckled and opened the box. There were two more more boxes in it and I took out the first box, it had so many swimsui

The preparations for the ceremony happened sooner than I could imagine. We decided that the venue was going to be towards the lake so the moon’s reflection could be even more perfect in the water. Chloe had done my makeup, and of course, she made me look like a goddess. My wedding dress was a dark wine velvet gown that was floor sweeping and had spaghetti straps with a wine corset on my waistline. I didn’t know how Choice had managed to get it on such short notice, but it was my perfect size and I loved it. It was only a few minutes till 12AM, so Dad had come to pick me up.“You look extremely beautiful. I never thought I’d see this day, but I’m glad I’m privileged to see my daughter’s wedding ceremony.” He had a proud smile on and hugged me, planting a fatherly kiss on my forehead. “I love you and I’m glad we got to see the real light before it was too late.” I was grinning from ear to ear, also glad that my parents and grandmother were present at my wedding. Dad led me to the v

We were all fully-prepared and determined to find Keegan today and return home with him. Chloe switched to her wolf form and started leading the way while we all followed behind her. She was way slower than I’d have wanted to run, but I had to bear with it. The run lasted for really long minutes till we finally stopped in front of a small building surrounded by so many men, judging from their musty scent, clearly rogues. ‘Be careful and attack them at once.’ I ordered and after a count, we charged at them. They were so confused to even do anything so we were able to kill or knock them out in accordance. “According to Vladimir, there might still be more guards in and we’ll have to be even more careful.” Chloe said in a bark. “And according to him, we’ll be better in our human form. “Really?”“Yes. Please switch quickly.”Good thing we had planned for a few wolves to carry clothes for us in bags. We received clothes from the bags then we had to quickly switch to our human form an

~ KEEGAN ~ I had tried my best to be free from this bondage and try to escape but it was all to no avail. Dad was planning a really terrible attack on my pack and I was scared that they weren’t going to be able to handle it since they wouldn’t be expecting it. I had overheard that Jane had gotten her gift and I was so proud of her but I hoped she was able to secure the pack in place. I wondered if she was back at Dark Stone or still stuck with those Ardolfs. I had no idea on what to do. I was at the weakest point of my life and it didn’t seem like help could come to me. One of the men walked into the room in their completely protected outfit then extended a glass to me. Water! I could finally have water?!I desperately let him pour the water down my throat and it made me feel so refreshed. He stepped back then stared at me. I wondered what the hell was going on till I started feeling knots in my stomach. I was too weak to let out a groan so my cry of pain was muffled internal

~ VLADIMIR ~ It was another day to just torture Keegan and watch him die slowly. The pleasure I derived from rubbing it in his face that he was so weak right now and I was just a step closer from dominating and being the new strongest Alpha again. “What exactly would you gain?” He asked, his voice was extremely low with his head hung low as well. “Revenge and power.” “I don’t know what you might’ve been fed with, but I just realized that there had been no reason for you to have started hating me when we were younger. We were so close with Scarlett and….” He trailed off and started coughing. The fact that he was playing dumb was really pissing me off. He had been the cause of my mother’s death and had always been against my success. I had been raised to hate him, so of course, I couldn’t let him try to convince me with his words when I was really close to achieving my desire. *** Where the hell was Dad? I had been trying to reach out to him towards our final attack against Dark

(Please ignore any grammatical errors or nicely point them out.) When I arrived at dark stone, my heart dropped to the ground as I saw so many people lying on the ground, looking so lifeless. If their chests weren’t still rising and falling, I’d have thought they were dead. What the heck happened? I nudged Mae’s wolf, no movement, I also tried to move Scarlett and Mason’s wolf but neither of them were responding to me.I searched around those in either their wolf form or human form lying on the ground, but there was no sign of Keegan around them and that made my heart start beating really fast. ‘Where the hell are my parents?’ I asked Vera. ‘Let’s just search around.’ She responded.I decided to search the entire town for my parents or Vladimir or at least a sign of Keegan. As I went around the entire pack, it was dead silent, confirming that no one was conscious. I even returned to the pack house and the members in the pack house were also lying unconscious, other people’s hou

~ JANE ~ “Please let me go!” I cried to the guards that were watching over me but they turned deaf ears to my pleas. I tried to struggle free from the plant but it was still too tight against me. My mind kept racing through what could possibly be their actual attack and my heart raced so much at the thought of the current state of the pack. What if Keegan wasn’t able to handle it? Darion suddenly walked towards me with blood stains on his body as he checked them out. “Darion,” I called, excited to at least see him. He lifted his gaze to me. “Please, save me from these people and plants. I can’t deal with this any longer.”He dismissed the guards then walked a few more steps till he stopped in front of me with a sly smile. “Oh, sweetheart,” he said in a very deep and husky voice, running his hand over my face then chortled. “You thought I was so stupid?” “The moment I started to doubt you was when I started to doubt you was when I asked if your love for me was washing off and you

~ KEEGAN ~.The pack members had undergone intense training for the upcoming attack, so we were more than prepared for what was coming our way. We had all maintained our positions close to the border they were going to be attacking from and the guards standing by to launch the traps to capture them were all also in position. ‘Be at alert. This has to be the last time we’ll experience an attack from them so we’ll stop at nothing to capture everyone of them.’ I said in a general link. ‘And ensure to protect your Luna at all cost.’ We still remained in position for a while till we started hearing screaming noises quite far away. ‘What the heck is that?’ Drex wondered. I started running towards the direction of the screaming with the guards, Mason, Scarlett, Shane, and other pack members and we noticed so many people lying unconscious on the ground as we ran. We came to a halt when we noticed the Ardolfs and multiple of their companions. There were so many rogues with them this time

~ KATE ~ I couldn’t believe I was doing this and meeting the moron again, but here I was waiting for Stefan, my long-gone mate. He walked out of a corner and stopped in front of me, maintaining a bold stance. His stubble was perfectly trimmed and his hair, as styled as ever. He never missed a chance to try to show off his good looks but I cared less about that today. “So what do you want that you had to call for my assistance?” He asked, his cold yet mocking demeanor made me have mixed feelings about him again. “Jane. I know you’ve finally found out about her.” I tucked my hand into my coat pockets, slipping out Jane’s picture from my pocket and handed it over to him. “What do I do with her?” “Don’t try to play dumb here. I’m the best person that can be of help to you. Why do you need her? I know how much you’ve been trying to find her after obviously knowing about her gifts.” He lifted his gaze from the picture with a smirk. “Still a smart woman, uh?” “There’s no time for j
