Chapter 3: Two months Later

Kassandra's POV:

  It has been two months since I was rejected and ran away to find the rogues who killed my parents.

 I have been living in the human city with a girl I had met the day I ran away. 

I got a job and moved in with her and have been doing great. 

Her name is Emma and she is from a pack not far from my old one but i don't mind she is very kind even knowing i am a lone wolf. 

I remember when we first met she thought i was human because i hid my scent since this town was closer to her pack than mine and when i asked why she wasn't living in her pack she told me her brother was the alpha and he wanted someone he trusts working for his companies in the city. 

I thought it was cool even though that meant i was working for his company but it didn't bother me. 

Today was the first time that her brother had come to the office and it was supposedly because he wanted to meet the new employees which meant me and i was nervous because no one knew while i was in highschool i was taking college classes and i got my degree a month after i graduated highschool. 

The moment that he walked through the door my breath caught he was extremely handsome and his eyes were gorgeous. 

He was 6’5 had black medium length hair and silver eyes that reminded me of the moon.

 I could also see multiple tattoos on his arms and neck . 

Next thing i hear is nova saying “ If i could i would climb him like a tree” and i giggled in my head at her and said i know you would. 

Right then i see Emma walking towards me with her brother in tow and she says, “ Kassandra this is our boss Lucien Blackcrest”

 I quickly stand and look at him and say “ It's a pleasure to meet you sir it's an honor to work for your company and to live with your sister she is an amazing person” 

Emma just smiles and you happen to see Lucien checking you out. 

What he says next you didn't expect “ Emma would you and Kassandra like to get lunch” 

Emma looks at me and I nod and she says sure. 

I grab my stuff and head out with them and get in the car. 

I can feel a little tension in the air and since my scent is hidden Lucien doesnt know I am a wolf and asks “Emma if I know what she is” and I hear him and Emma look at me expectantly. 

I look over and see Lucien following his sister's eyes and landing on me and I tell Nova to stop blocking our scent. 

I see Lucien's eyes go from silver to white for a split second and I hide my scent again. When I do , Lucien asks how I became a lone wolf and I tell him my story and tell him the pack I left and his eyes spark with anger but not at me at my old pack. 

I also told him about my mate rejecting me because I got my wolf at a young age and my parents told me to never show my wolf because it is dangerous. 

At that moment Lucien says he wants to see my wolf and I am surprised.

 I ask nova what she thinks and she says it might be a good idea.

 He could help us. 

So I agree as long as he doesnt tell anyone he asks why and I tell him because it can cause problems. 

I proceed to tell him Emma is the first person to ever see my wolf since my parents died. 

He tells the driver to stop at his favorite spot in the woods and drive away and pick up food and he will call when he's ready. 

I go behind a tree and shift and walk out and Lucien's jaw goes slack for a split second before recovering and he says “ I see what you mean your wolf is very rare and hasn't been seen for almost 300years” when i hear that i am surprised . 

What happened next made me laugh. 

He said he wanted to try something but what I didn't expect was him to try and use the alpha command on me and tell me to shift. 

I just sat there and looked at him through novas eyes and he finally asked me nicely to shift so i did. 

He called his driver to bring the food and we sat and ate.

He asked me if I had ever seen my wolfs fur and I said once when I first shifted. 

It is very pretty White with black tipped paws.

He chuckled and said it was he then asked if i wanted to join his pack and i had one condition and he asked what's that i said i want to train my human and wolf form. 

He looked at me and asked have you never trained i told him i haven't except self taught and he then agreed but he wanted to train my wolf himself and i agreed but then i had asked what pack it was because emma couldn't tell me without the alphas permission. 

When he said the Moon Stone pack it was my turn to have a slack jaw because it was the biggest pack in the United states and that made me even more excited.

He then told me he would introduce me into the pack in seven days and i asked if i could still live with emma for a while because i am still a little afraid to live in a pack house again. 

He said that was fine and when and if i decide to move into the pack house i wouldn't be living with the other pack members and i asked why he then said i would be on the alphas floor which is for family and since emma likes me so much i am like family i just smiled. 

After lunch he told me and Emma that we could have the rest of the day off and we went shopping to get me an outfit, got my nails and hair done.

We were finally headed home and Emma told me how excited she was and to be honest I was too but then she asked how did I not follow his alpha command and I told her I have been able to do that for a while. 

We said goodnight and headed to bed, but before I fell asleep I whispered thank you moon goddess and drifted into sleep.
