Astrid Olsen’s POV

“So, let me get this straight,” my supervisor said as I was sitting across her desk when she was pinching her nose bridge, “you failed to get the sample plant and you still want to do the presentation?” Lucia asked me as I was nodding at her. I have known her since I was a Ph.D. student in Norway where she was the wife of the famous founder of Green Technology in Norway.

I am still trying to make sure that I was not dreaming that I am her graduate’s student for my newest Ph.D. scroll.

“Yes, I know what you will try to say but I will try to make sure that  I will get the funding that I needed to continue this research,”  I staked my freedom on this one after all, I thought before I was smiling at her.

Lucia was looking at me for a moment before she sighed. She looked at my analysis before the storm was hitting the base camp and turned to look at me again.

“Are you pretty sure that you will get the funding that you need

Eliot Park’s POVSince I discovered that Astrid Freya Olsen was not in Norway and I did find out that she was a Ph.D. student at an institute that I know so much, I just have to go there and meet her in person. Even my mother was surprised to see me again after my last visit which was a few months back.I have never been visiting her more than once every 2 years.“Well, this is a change of scenery,” she said when I was settling in my bedroom at the family mansion that we bought in New York City. I smiled at her before I was pulling her to get some dinner together.“Don’t worry. It will be only temporary,” I said before we went to get some dinner and I have been in the States for one month now. It is time for me to meet my mysterious scientist now.And right now, I was inside my mother’s office, talking about something before someone opened the door and I was staring at the odd couple that was giving us a show at the conference in the garden.“Well

Astrid Olsen’s POVI blinked my eyes at the man who just told me that if I wanted to get the funding for my research, I have to sacrifice my freedom and be his wife. Was he insane or what?I chuckled as I was trying to process the statement in my head. I don’t know what came over me but all I can say was, “What?”“You heard me. I know that this research will have the potential that it can shock the world but in order to compensate the funding that I will be giving to you, I need to know that this research will be for my company and mine alone,” he said before the fair man was crossing his arms in front of me. His suit was restraining from the muscles that were bulging underneath it.“Look, mister—““Eliot. You may call me Eliot, Miss Olsen,” he said as he was smirking at me. I blinked at him before I just realized that he knew my name.My real name that I don’t even give to him. but perhaps he learned it when he was reading my booth presenta

Eliot Park’s POVI was blinking my eyes when I was looking at this woman in front of me. she asked me to cancel the condition on number six which was generous enough for Astrid as I know that I will not ask her to be in my bed if she did not want to.But right now, she was confusing me. she wanted the condition’s gone. Was she mad or something.“Are you sure about this? you know I would never force myself onto—““I am sure. I know you would think this will be a silly reason to believe in but I look at marriage’s vows as something precious. Something sacred. And if you think for a moment that I will allow infidelity running around in my marriage then you have to choose someone else,” Astrid said with her amber orbs burned into my mind. I blinked my eyes as my heart was soaring with her proclamation. But would she be okay if I was to ask her to fulfill my carnal desire?I cleared my throat before I was sipping on the black coffee that I ordered earl

Cavan Olsen’s POV“This is bad,”“This is not accurate enough,”“This is not what it supposed to be doing,”Saoirse has been spending some time now with me as I was going rounds in the factory. People were staring at her as she was wearing the tiniest blouse and pencil skirt that she can get from her wardrobe and all the men were smirking in her way.I threw my murderous glare at them before they were back at their tasks as we finished our rounds and I was sitting across her right now at the sofa. My secretary was kind enough to put out the hot coffee for us but neither of us has touched it.I was worrying about what she would have to say about my company and one of the factories that was producing those green tech stuff.Saoirse was looking at the paperwork that she needed to read as I was looking at her exposed calves. She was putting one knee over the other and I was pretty close to put the bloody blanket on her knees before she cleared h

Astrid Olsen’s POVI was putting on my stuff around the penthouse as I was trying to avoid Eliot as much as I could. I don’t know what to react or do whenever I was with them. I never had much of an experience with a specimen as sexy as him before. Not counting the colleagues that I am working with. The graduate students were pretty hot if you were into nerd kind of guy but Eliot was…different. I don’t know how to describe it but I know that if I looked closely, I might fall deeper than I already was.And that would be bad for both of us.I sighed before I closed the door of the walk-in wardrobe before Eliot knocked on the bathroom door. I jumped before I turned to look at him, trying to calm my heart the fuck down.“Dinner’s ready. Will you join me or you still a minute to adjust?” he asked me with a smirk on his lips. I rolled my eyes at him before I was putting away my luggage and went out of the bathroom.“I am adjusting. It’s not every

Eliot Park’s POVI was smiling to myself as I just caught Astrid trying to do something naughty in the bathroom. I don’t know what about it but the fact that my cock was aching in my trousers told me that I need to get laid.As soon as possible with her.But of course, she was still opening up to me and I don’t really wanted to be looking for trouble when I was engaged to her, even by contract. I just don’t want Astrid to run away from me and took all her research to that old geezer before I know it.I sighed as I was looking at my papers and work stuff when the phone rang. I did not look at the caller ID for it was a custom ringtone that I set up for only one person and one person only. That was person was my father and I know why he was calling me.“Levine told me that you got engaged and you don’t even tell me, Eliot. Are you trying to marry her behind my back?” he asked me without any pleasantries exchanged between us.“Good to hear from

Eliot Park’s POVI heard something that made me awake from my slumber. I did not go to bed last night for I might freak Astrid if we slept in the same bed. So, I just continued to do some of my works and ended up sleeping at the table.I sat up before I stood and my bones were screaming at me as I was stretching some of them to relief myself. Then, something hit my nose as I was hearing those noises again. I went to check what it was when I did not realize it was already morning. I went out of the room and was shocked to see that the breakfast was ready on the dining table. I blinked my eyes for a moment before Astrid stood in front of me before she was handing me a coffee mug.“Rough night?” she asked me before I was taking the coffee. I nodded at her before I sipped on it. It was all black and I was surprised to see that she did not put any cream or sugar in the coffee.“I figure you might want your coffee like at the café yesterday so I did not do anything

Astrid Olsen’s POV“Well, you certainly brought a surprise for me, fratello,” the fashionista said before she circled me. I did not know what to say but I felt like I was scrutinizing under her chocolate gaze before she turned to look at Eliot.“You know what to do, Nina,” Eliot said before I was glancing at him and this fashionista. She harrumphed before she was pinching my chin. She turned my face to the left then to the right before she released her grip on my chin. I wanted to tell her that she cannot do that but I kept my mouth shut for I don’t know how influential this person was.Not that I was not the daughter of the most influential physicist in Norway, that was.“Well, she’s pretty but she has been neglecting some stuff on her side that I cannot help but to cringe for the ignorance that she gave to herself,” she said before I scoffed. I put my hands on the hips before I was facing the fashionista again.“Then, excuse me if I was not taking car
