*Samantha’s Point of View*
---
"Becca? What are you doing here?" I asked my best friend in shock as I approached her when I saw her eating at the table near the small stage where Red and Shane are performing. I thought she's at the mall?
"Uh... Oh! Hi, Sam! What are you doing here?" She asked the same question that I asked her, and surprise was written on her face also.
I have already eaten my lunch on the far side of the restaurant while listening and watching the girls.
"I asked you first, so you're going to answer me first. You said you were at the mall?" I asked as I sat in front of her.
"Umm... Well, I was at the mall, and I went here to eat lunch. What about y
*Claire’s Point of View* --- "Alright, now good luck, Babe," Shay stated and tapped my shoulder real hard. Like, it so damn hurts. Damn, this girl is causing me a lot of injuries lately. "And hey, don't forget to tell me what will happen, okay?" She taunted me, and I just shook it off. "Hey, Lawrence! Take care of our Samantha." Rebecca started and smiled at me warmly. I looked at her, and sincerity was clearly written on her face. Sammy really got great friends, even though I knew them as little b*tches way back then. "Yeah. And also, keep an eye on my cousin. A lot of people of different genders love to chase her. This time, I resign from acting as her girlfriend
*Samantha’s Point of View*---After eating our ice creams and playing some of them, we cleaned ourselves at the nearby fountain and sat on a nearby bench. We talked about things, and I never knew that Red got a sense of humor. Well, maybe a perk of being a DJ. But she could really make me smile, laugh, and feel weird at the same time. Damn, why did it take me forever to make a move on this angel? Then later in the afternoon, we went to watch a horror movie, and we didn't finish watching it because it's so damn scary. There were even times that I had to grab her arm and hide my head behind her. And she was just like watching a comedy show since she keeps on laughing. And maybe because of my reactions and the people around us.Well, if I got to think about myself earlier, I would really laugh at myself too. That's just so stupid. But hey, at least I got a chance to hold onto her. Uh-huh. Yeah.---We are currently walking inside a restaurant, and she said that we
*Samantha’s Point of View* --- "I won," I announced as soon as I handed her the keys. Then she looked at me like she's mad, and she looked a bit angry. Damnit, Sam! She never said a word, so I just combed my hair with my fingers. "It's just 75 kph. The max speed I… uh... hit." I told her, and I look like a student being caught cheating in a quarterly test right now. She gave me my keys, and it's a good thing that she parked my car in my garage already. Does she have any plans on talking to me? She isn't that mad, I guess. Well, I just arrived here two minutes before she had.
*Claire’s Point of View* --- As I am walking in the hallway and heading to my locker, my mind goes somewhere else. The kiss last night was just so damn hot. Oh geez. I never felt so excited about going to school before, and it's because I'm gonna see her. But yeah, before, I really hated going to school because of her. I never thought that it would go the other way. "Hi, Claire! You're looking so inspired today. What makes you smile, huh?" Somebody uttered behind me as I got the things I needed from my locker for my morning classes. "Just something worth smiling for," I told him, and he flashed me an annoying smile. This guy knew me from one party I hosted the last
*Claire’s Point of View*---"What was that?" I asked her as we arrived at the rooftop. She's not planning on something, isn't she?"Well, I... uh... I just want them to know that... Uh... You know." She stammered, and she couldn't even complete her sentence.I just raised an eyebrow at her. Damn, I didn't know that she's so damn possessive, and I find it cute."Nathan Jones is a douchebag, Red. And do you know that he three-timed Ericka, Stacy, and Martha? I know it because the girls are sharing it with me. And clearly, he's hitting on you. Oh, does he know that you're a DJ or something?" She ranted and asked.I just nodded my head in response"Ah, heh, he'll never get a chance. I'd kick his face and shove him to the canal and will literally put him in a garbage bag and feed him to the sharks. Doesn't he know that you're off-limits? Everybody knows that. Hah, he better not messes with me." She continued, and I am just laughing at her words. Then she looke
*Samantha’s Point of View* --- "Enjoy the rest of the night," Red let out and took a bow while the crowd cheered her name. Do you wanna know why I'm here at Shane's club? Because Red is here and I'm planning to ask her out on a date tomorrow so that the girls and her mom will have the time to prepare everything for her birthday. Yep. "Hey, Gorgeous! Mind if I join you here?" A girl in a red dress asked me and ordered a cocktail. I didn't bother to answer her; instead, I finished my flavored beer. I looked for Red from the stage, but she's not there anymore. Maybe she went to the restroom. "You seem alone here. Hea
*Samantha’s Point of View* --- We went down to the parking lot, and she texted Shane that they're just gonna see each other tomorrow for their job at the resto. "Switch vehicles?" I asked her since she brought with her Nikki, her motorbike. Damn, I always wanted to ride something like that. It's just so freaking cool. "Never. It's so dangerous, Sammy." She replied, and I just frowned. She really doesn't trust me with her vehicles, and that's so sad to know. But she's just concerned for my safety anyway. So, yeah, I find it sweet. "Please?" I begged her while pouting, and she just sighed while shaking her head 'no'.
*Claire’s Point of View*---"Red? Is it okay if we stop by at the mall? I just need to buy something." She asked while she was about to turn to the parking space of the mall."Yep," I answered, and I just noticed that she's always smiling. What's up with her? Maybe she's up to something amazing for our date. After she parked the car, she brought me to the elevator heading to the top floor of the mall and straight to the arcade. Okay, see? Something amazing it is.I smiled since I never played here again since I was twelve. That was my mom's birthday, and that was so much fun."Come on, let's get some tokens first." She uttered and dragged me to the token booth. I just noticed that she really loves to hold my hands, and I really like it. No, I love it."What do you want to play first?" She asked me with her unfading smile and handed me a dozen tokens. Then my gaze went to the basketball area that made her grinned and nodded.---"Try to win this time, R
*Claire’s Point of View* --- "Samantha, I'm so sorry for being so hard on you and with Claire. I know you can't forgive me easily, but I'm trying my best to be a good father to you, both, soon." Rick apologized to her daughter. Well, he really needs a lot of apologizing to do for being so mean to my ex-girlfriend. Yeah, ex. Sammy is in her deep thoughts, and I can't help but look at her with adoration. She just looks so perfect. She's my everything, and I'm ready to do everything for her. I still remember a day before Christmas when I barged into Richard Rivers' office and threatened him that I would bring him down with all I got. During that time, I didn't think of anything else but to be with Sammy. He was tak
*Samantha’s Point of View*---"Go, Sam," Samara told me, and I slowly walked up to the stage while the people clapped their hands. My hands start to sweat, and I feel like I'm about to melt."My daughter will be the one to continue my legacy, and I just know that she is capable of doing that." My father spoke, and I am looking at the floor since I am not used to being in front of a huge crowd, especially in the business world.I'm not proud of just following his steps. He might be a successful businessman, but he sucks at a lot of things. One is being the head of a family, and the rest is him being a selfish a**hole."Dad, what is this?" I asked him as he gave the mic to the man beside him.I can't clearly see his face because I can only see his side view."Just do what I want you to do, Sam. Trust me, you'll thank me after all of this. It's the only way that can make our lives better." He replied, and it made me more puzzled. Is it only business that he
*Samantha’s Point of View* --- We both gasped for air as our lips parted. I hugged her tight, and she caressed my back. I'm crying now, and that's making her neck wet because of my tears. "I missed you so much, Red," I sobbed, and she breathed in deeply. "I missed you too, Sammy. I'm here now. Don't cry, please." She confessed and looked me in the eyes. I am more than happy tonight. But how is this happening? She wiped my tears as she removed my mask. A familiar smile crept on her face, and she kissed my forehead. It's really her. I am never mistaken. I have fallen for this same girl three times already. She removed her mask, and I finally got the sight
*Samantha’s Point of View*---It's already 10:15 pm, and we still have an hour and forty-five minutes before midnight.I decided to just stroll at this place, and I found myself on a balcony. I thought Sam's gonna meet me here? And how can we see each other if we can't identify faces and I don't have a freaking phone? They are just so stupid. They should have just given me a damn phone so that I can finally call my girlfriend. Yes, I will really run away with her one day.Someone cleared their throat behind me, and I didn't bother to look at them. I can't identify who it is, and I don't know anybody at this party except my dad and my sister."Can I join you here?" She asked, and I just took a sip from my soda can. Yes, I really did order soda. I would want a choco, but it will just make me miss Red so much."I don't own the place. So, you can stay wherever you want." I told her coldly as I looked up at the sky. It's clear from clouds, and stars are shining to t
*Samantha’s Point of View*---"Samantha?" The woman asked me, and she's about to cry.She walked to me, and I didn't know what to say to her. Should I forgive her?"Mom?" I said in a shaky voice, and tears started to fall from my eyes. She smiled while she's crying and finally wrapped her arms around me."Is this you, my Samantha?" She asked while sobbing and kissing my head.I nodded, and I'm crying too. I missed her so much. It's been a decade. And she still smells the same."I'm so sorry, Sam, that I've left you. I should've brought you here. I'm so sorry." She apologized as we sat on the couch.I have been wiping my tears with the scarf that dad gave me. He's right. I really need this."I missed you so much, Mom," I told her, and she kissed my forehead."I missed you too, Sam. There has not been a day that I don't think of you. I'm such a bad mother. I'm so sorry." She expressed and kept apologizing. This feeling is so wonderful. I never thought
*Samantha’s Point of View* --- A week has passed, and it's Christmas now. This is my loneliest Christmas ever. I am still locked up in my house, and I haven't revisited Red. Shane visited the other day and told me that Red hadn't woken yet. But, thankfully, the doctor said that she's doing great. My only Christmas wish is that Red and I will be together again, and she will be okay. Samara has visited me often for the past week, and she went back to London yesterday. She said she'll celebrate Christmas with Mom. I just can't help but wonder why my mother left my father, but she never got married again. I thought she cheated on him? The girls mailed me letters since they can't reach my phone. And they also gave me
*Samantha’s Point of View*---"Where do you think you are---" Dad was about to ask but stopped when he got the sight of the woman before him."Samara?" He asked in disbelief, and I guess he just can't believe his eyes.He just arrived from somewhere I don't care, and I don't want him getting in my way. I will go to the hospital."Hi, Dad! It's been a long time." She greeted him, and he wanted to get near her, but she stepped back. And Sam remembered that we're going to the hospital."I... What… uh." He can't compose a word, and we're about to head to the door."I'm taking Sam with me. We'll go to the hospital." She said sternly, and we walked past him."What? No, you're not taking Samantha away from me. Stay here, Sam." He belted and blocked our way."But, Dad! Claire got into an accident, and I don't know what happened to her. Please, I want to see her." I begged him, and he is also shocked by the information."Please, Dad. Don't be selfish this time
*Samantha’s Point of View* --- I don't know what the date is today. And I think it has been a century since I am locked up in my own house and my own room. My tears are threatening to fall again as I saw Red's picture on my nightstand. I miss her so much, and I hope she's doing well right now. I sighed and went to the bathroom to fix myself. I think dad is staying here for a while to make sure that I am suffering really well. He's such an a**hole. Now, I just realized why mom left him. He's selfish, and he's an a**hole. Did I mention that already? If Mom were just here, she wouldn't do something like this to me. I
*Claire’s Point of View*---"Uh, do I... uh, know you?" I asked the girl cluelessly since she's so happy seeing and knowing that it's me.Well, there are lots of people who knew me after all."Oh, uh... No, but I know you. I am someone's sister that knows you. I mean, I have a sister that knows you. Uh, a classmate of yours in elementary school." She stammered, and I just gave her a very confused face. She looks like she's twenty-something up. And she's pretty. But no one is prettier than my girl. No, my girl is not pretty; she is gorgeous. Yep. And I miss her badly."Umm, there's a lot of them? Uh, which exactly?" I asked her, and I really don't have any idea who she is."Well, do you remember a girl that always made fun of you back in your primary days?" She asked, and she's making this harder for me. There are also lots of them.I just gave her a more confused look while I took a sip of the cocktail I ordered."Samantha Rivers? That very annoying littl
