Prologue

1000 years ago.

Clash! Clash! Clash!

In a forest, a fierce battle broke out between sworn enemies of different races— Vampires and werewolves.

The howling Werewolves and the roaring Vampires fought with all their might; creating a blood spree in the Dark forest.

The number of werewolves were speedily decreasing, leaving only Alpha Sebastian; Alpha of the largest and strongest pack, and a few other strong wolves to fight.

Since the vampires outnumbered the werewolves in the village, it was hard to determine which party would win. It was full moon so the werewolves' strength will be at it's peak but at the same time, the vampires had an upper hand since the forest was full of wolfsbane; a deadly plant that can even take the life of a werewolf.

At one far end, the Luna of the pack, having white fur and looking like the Luna she is, was already losing strength from fighting.

Alpha Sebastian who was battling with ripping the wings of a vampire apart saw his Luna getting defeated and fumed. He roared and his eyes turned pitch red.

 "Riella!" He growled and galloped as fast as lightning to her place.

At the same time, a female vampire saw his reckless and rash move and smirked. It was time to do the needful— Eliminate the werewolves backbone, Alpha Sebastian— and save the vampire race.

 She took out a wolfsbane, turned into a full vampire bat and flew to attack him with it.

Gabriella, the Luna that had extraordinary powers as a gift from the goddess, saw the vampire coming to attack her Alpha and stood in front of him as a shield to protect him.

The wolfsbane penetrated into her and made her white fur burn to black as the poison spread through her body, rendering her helpless. The vampire lady shifted back to human shape and dug her wing's fingernails deep into Gabriella's body and blood seeped out of the hole.

"Riella!!!!!!" Sebastian growled as her almost lifeless body fell into his arms. He looked up at the vampire lady with smoldering eyes that burned with fury. He rushed to attack her but he could only tear her cloth and see a big drawing of a lion on her back before she turned back to a bat and flew away.

"Seb..." Gabriella uttered weakly as she shifted to her human form. He ignored the vampire when he heard his Luna's voice as he shape-shifted to a human and they fell to the floor.

She managed to whisper a few words to him as her normal glowing statue turned to a shadow of herself. 

"Riella... Don't dare leave me..." 

The vampires saw the way the Alpha had turned helpless and pathetic at that moment, crying his eyes out, they rejoiced over their victory.

Alpha Sebastian was the bane of their existence but now he has become vulnerable because of his Luna.

To fuel his misery, they killed the remaining werewolves of the pack and dragged Gabriella's body from him. As he tried to fight them, the vampires used their wing's fingernails to pierce him down to the ground as he watched them take his Luna to the top of a tree, hanged her to one of the branches and drew the rope down to choke her.

"Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! Let her go!!! My Riella!!! I will kill all of you, you blood sucking vampires!!!" "You will pay with your blood!!! Luna!!!!" 

 "Tell that to the devil!" The vampires laughed with scorn. 

  

  They made him watch as they took turns to drink her blood through their fangs and called it the 'pure and perfect blood' for vampires.

All of a sudden, Sebastian roared his wolf out and shifted back to a wolf. But this time, to a completely different type of wolf. 

He continued howling and roaring at the full moon and his wolf kept getting bigger and bigger and stronger than ever. 

The vampires were surprised. How come? In just a few minutes that they were rejoicing over their victory He had suddenly turned indestructible?

They watched as his height soared above the trees and his roar made some trees go off their roots. 

They gathered courage and tried fighting but there were just like ants in his eyes. Wherever part of his body their nails slit, that place regenerated itself and covered up.

That was when they realized Alpha Sebastian was an Immortal werewolf.

There was nothing they could do anymore to challenge an immortal so they surrendered. 

After making sure to clear the entire village of all existing vampires, Sebastian returned back to the scene of the murder. He quickly loosened the ropes used to tie Gabriella to the tree and she fell to the plain ground with his support.

"I've done what you want me to do... Now can you please come back... Please.... My Luna... " Tears fell out of his eyes like waterfalls. 

Suddenly a silent cough came out from her frail body.

Holding on to that ray of hope, he stood up immediately, cupped her face in his palms.

"Riella? I'm here, look at me," he held her like the most fragile egg ever.

Gabriella that was already at the brink of death, took out her right hand and caressed his face, a small saddest smile appeared on her lips as she uttered a few words. "Wait for me, Seb.... I'll be back for you ... Please wait .... I.. promise... I'll be back for you my love..." 

Her voice creaked... Her golden eyes flickered...

"I..."

"Riella!"

"I..." With that, she breathed her last and gave up the ghost.

"Riella stay with me... Riella, Riella!!! GABRIELLA!!!!"

His growls and roars could be heard round the forest as he went on a rampage and burnt everything he saw. Including Gabriella's lifeless body that laid on the ground was not left out in the rampage as it burned to ashes.

Within him, he didn't know how she'll return, but swore to wait for her no matter how many years later she comes back.
