PROLOGUE

The chill ringing from her phone woke her up, picking it up without checking the caller ID. Anyone calling her through this number has a job for her. It's the number she uses if anyone wants to contact her or rather her assassin name, Mr King.

"Yes."

"Mr King, you have a job," A male voice said almost immediately.

"What kind of job do you have for me and before you proceed, know that I don't kill children." Samira told him. She knew how her voice would sound at the other end, a man's voice with rough edges. She had made sure she changed her feminine voice to a male voice with a rough deep baritone. No one could guess the person they are always talking to is a lady.

"I need you to kill someone for me, he is not a child."

"Who is he?" Samira asked.

"His name is Zinedine and he will be attending a birthday party tonight. It's to lure him out, we know what we did before he agreed to attend this birthday party, so don't fuck it up."

The warning the man added in his long sentences made Samira's lips twitch up a bit.

"Well, does this Zinedine have a last name?"

"There is no need to mention his last name, you will know it's him once he comes to the party. He won't announce himself but the people there will do it for you."

"How much?"

"20 Million dollars."

Samira mouth parted in shock, this is the second highest money paid for killing a client, the first one was a Mafia drug Lord and she was paid 15 million dollars to eliminate him and now this.

"I know you must be shocked by the amount I am willingly to pay to have him killed, he's a tough guy, so be careful."

Samira snorted as she couldn't help it, careful her sexy ass.

"Send me my full money, you know Mr King doesn't do half payment now and balance later."

"I know that's why you are the perfect one for the job," the man said to her. "Before I forget, the birthday party is strictly by invitation so I am going to send you a copy of an invitation card to your G***l address. You know what to do with it."

"Send me my complete money and I will start getting prepared."

"Mr King, no matter what, he has to die toni-"

Samira didn't let him finish his words and cut the call. Checking her clock, it was 2pm in the afternoon and at that same moment an alert came to her phone. Her lips lifted up at the corner.

Dividing and transferring money to all her accounts she has with her real name she checked her G***l account next. She always made sure she didn't leave her traces behind. Mr King is a ghost and a ghost he shall remain.

The invitation card had been sent, she quickly printed it out with her printer she had in her room. For someone killing for a living, the place she was staying was a one room apartment with kitchen and bathroom.

Holding the birthday party invitation in her hands, she hummed to herself. Operation killing Zinedine is on.

It was 8:30 pm and she was already at the premises of the so called celebrant, she wouldn't deny the mansion was magnificent but she wasn't here for sightseeing. She was wearing a strapless long shiny red elegant dress that reached her feet which was made of tiny diamonds and red ruby, bringing out her curves, the side of the dress was silt up to her thigh and wearing a stiletto heel strappy red sandals to match. Her brown hair was let down with a bit of make-up on her face. She was holding a Cleopatra Clutches which cost her $400,000 dollars. She needed to look expensive.

Showing the guard outside the mansion her invitation card, he allowed her in. She ignored the flirting smile the guard had to her and focused on the inside which was already filled with people of class. She was here on a mission and that was why she was dressed to kill.

The sound her heels were making attracted some curious eyes to her and she gave them her killer smile. She knew she was beautiful without being told. Looking at the men and ladies, some were eye-fucking her while some of the ladies were glaring at her already. Wow honey it's not easy to have this body of hers and face, she smiled at the  lady who was dressed the most and who men were flocking around her, without being told that is the celebrant. She shifted her gaze from the celebrant and wondered among the men in here, who could be the one that called her this afternoon. She walked up to an empty artylife sofa and sat down, crossing her legs and used her wolf hearing abilities to check if anyone would mention Zinedine's name. She had made sure she covered her wolf scent with the perfume a witch friend of hers gave to her. She could sense her fellow wolves but she pretended not to notice.

All of a sudden, the aura of the room changed as the door opened and a young man of 20 years walked in, wearing loose ripped jeans and t-shirt unlike the men in here that are wearing expensive suits. Everyone was staring at him.

Her heart skipped a beat and not because of how handsome the young man was but recognizing who he is. She heard the whispers which confirm her fears, he is indeed Zinedine, but the name she knew him as wasn't Zinedine. Whoever that had placed a hit on Zinedine must also be powerful.

The celebrant was approaching him with a sexy smile on her face and Samira wanted to scratch that smile off the bitch face. She can't kill him, how can she kill a wolf, not just any wolf but a Millennium wolf.

She stood up immediately to get out of there but her bag chose that moment to fall down with a loud thud bringing some attention to her including Zinedine.

No, no, no...

She saw his eyes widening in shock which made her realize he remembered her. He began to move towards her with her name 'Mira' on his lips.

She didn't wait, she ran out without looking behind her. She ran to where she packed her bmw range down the street, she unlocked it and was about to open the driver side of the car when his hand stopped her.

"Sweetheart." His voice sent shivers down her spine in a good way but she hid it.

"Don't call me that." Samira groaned.

"My love."

"Or that."

"My Dream Girl."

"Even that."

"Mi Tesoro." meaning 'My Treasure' in Spanish.

"What do you want?" Samira finally asked, turning to look at him, they were so close that their lips were almost touching. One of his hands was on her waist and the other one was cupping one of her beasts.

"Why do you keep running away from me Mi Tesoro? Now that I have you here with me again, I won't let go of you forever."

He kissed her passionately.
