Chapter 83 The Image of a Loving Father

"Why, you. Gwyneth, what are you talking about?" Gaspard cautiously spoke, feeling somewhat guilty. As he retorted, he subtly glanced at Liam.

"What I'm trying to say is that ever since I moved out a few years ago, our father-daughter relationship ended," Gwyneth held her arms and spoke each word with precision. She resisted acknowledging she was a part of the Glen family with every word she said, with her body rigid and her expression uninterested.

However, only Liam and Wanda could sense that Gwyneth's words were like a knife wielded against herself.

"Mr. Glen, if I were you, I would have stayed far away and not pulled any feelings," Gwyneth said. Her hands were firmly clenched into fists. "Stop pretending!"

Her last sentence was not loud, but it carried a weight that made Gaspard's body tremble. He did not anticipate Gwyneth to say such words to him in a public setting. He intended to act in front of Liam. But now, he did not need to act like a loving father as his anger surged.
