Chapter 254 I Quit

Elizabeth used to bake treats to woo Liam when they were together. She had learned how to make simple desserts by watching a few tutorials. Whenever she gave them to Liam, she never got much of a response from him after he tasted them.

There was no way to bluff her way through when she had to bake desserts for a television show. It would be humiliating for something simple to taste bad.

She gritted her teeth and cast a sidelong glance at Gwyneth, who was cooking by the side. She said, "Ms. Glen…"

Her voice caught Gwyneth off guard because it was unexpectedly gentle. A chill went down her spine as she quickly turned to look at Elizabeth. She asked, "What is it?"

"Baking is my weakness, and I know you are a talented cook. Would you teach me a few tricks, please?"

Gwyneth almost burst out laughing in response to the subtle request. Elizabeth had to keep her reputation intact in front of the cameras.

The audience was in the dark. They would have assumed Elizabeth was a skilled cook.
