Chapter 9

Sibel’s POV

Paul's stutter worsened, his voice trembling as he struggled to comprehend what was happening. "W-who are you, Sibel? W-what's going on?"

"You see it now, don’t you? You’re finally seeing the real me."

The way Paul stuttered made it clear... he had finally recognized me. Relief and happiness surged through me, knowing that at last, he saw me for who I truly was. After all this time, he acknowledged my true identity.

"Now that the truth is out, you can see who I really am, can’t you?" I said, my newfound confidence lifting me tall. I held my head high, ready to accept his acknowledgment.

But then, in a sudden and unexpected shift, Paul’s voice changed, and he burst out laughing. "You think I’m a fool? Are you seriously trying to dupe me? Do you take me for a brainless, gullible dimwit?" His words caught me off guard, and surprise washed over me.
