Chapter 81: Bingo

Diana's eyes were closed but a drop of tears rolled down. "I will never forgive the man that killed my Bennett" was the next sentence that escaped her lips which made Valerie stunned.

"Bennett did deserve to be provoked to take his own life, he was a really cheerful soul, he was against suicide but someone made him do it to himself. That person is the devil himself and I will never forgive him, Bennett will never forgive him either"

A teardrop rolled from Valerie's eyes and fell freely. "Mom" she called in a whisper.

"I took you as a daughter Valerie but you've switched sides and joined the enemies, you betrayed Bennett and us, just leave" Diana was still weak but she used her strength to say this.

"Mom, it's not like that I promise" Valerie bit on her lips hard, trying to stop herself from crying.

"Just leave, I want to be alone" Diana looked elsewhere.

Valerie didn't know what else to do, she didn't even know how to talk to her mother and convince her that she wasn't the bad person
