Chapter 8

Diablo:

I frowned when I took sight of Sienna, looking as lost as she did.

She did not look at me, but I knew that she was aware, though if we had arrived, the car screeching caught her attention.

I looked in the direction of the car, the black car that drove away from her, and I couldn't help the frown that formed on my face as I got out of the car.

She seemed far too perplexed to react. And when I wrapped my arm around her, when I pulled her to my chest, she fisted my shirt and let out tears, sobbing out her pain for the first time in a very long time.

For a long time, she’s been locking them in and I knew that today, whatever happened, it was the last thing that she needed. It was the last drop that had her break down.

“What happened? Talk to me, Sienna. What happened? Who was it? What did he tell you?” I asked gently. She didn't say a word for a few moments, but when she looked upon me, my heart dropped when I saw the pain in her eyes. I gently wiped her tears, keeping my eyes on
