Instead of answering my offer, Darcy turned her body around. My eyes stared at her plump bottom, teasing me with her movements every time she took a step. Damn. How much longer was she going to torture me?

Darcy opened a drawer and took out a book. She wrote something quickly. My eyes were fixed on her chest, no. I couldn't let her control me. What did I think? I needed to focus.

“One hundred grand for each ejaculation, and you may only do it the traditional way. I don't allow you to dispose of your seed in my mouth or any other hole.” He handed me the book.

“What is this?” I accepted and read it.

“An agreement. I don't want you to break your promise.” Darcy held out a pen.

“I can't believe you're doing this for your son.” I handed the book and pen back to her after signing.

“You can judge me all you want. I only need your money.” She slid the book into the drawer and approached me. “Where were we?”

Darcy wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me. My anger subsided as I felt her ch

[Darcy]Fortunately, I thought quickly. I didn't know how the idea popped up, but I was lucky. Sinclair agreed to my terms before it was too late. I got closer to my goal. The man seemed to be a womanizer. He must have slept with his female employees or those he found attractive. Moreover, the club owner kept saying how many women wanted to be in my position.I got so carried away that I forgot about protection. We did it skin-to-skin. I was in danger if Sinclair had a disease or slept with an unclean woman. However, he swore he was clean and just checked his health.Wasn't Sinclair afraid he'd impregnate me? He wasn't the kind of man who liked children. The club owner was unlikely to want to get married, let alone have children. Because without a wife, he could satisfy his biological needs by sleeping with any woman.Could he have found out I used a surrogate to conceive Keane? No way. It was a secret that my family died with. The doctor and all the medical personnel had sworn to gua

The strange woman beside me and I obeyed the doctor's orders. We walked out of the ward, leaving Lydia with the baby. I stood not far from the curtain. My partner could have called me in need. Why did trouble come in waves? I was supposed to practice for a new dance, yet I was in the hospital. Keane drank milk exclusively and never once had a problem.I couldn't believe it was my milk that caused Edith to vomit and have diarrhea. She should have had that on Monday or Tuesday after consuming my milk. How could she get sick on the fifth day?I turned to the woman beside me. “Hi. My name is Darcy.” I extended my hand. The woman shook my hand. “Jessica,” she replied.“You are...,” I said, purposely leaving my sentence hanging.“Edith's nanny,” she continued.I nodded in understanding. “What happened?”Jessica shook her head. “I gave her milk as usual. I don't know why she suddenly threw up and had diarrhea.”Strange. Edith couldn't have had that if she only consumed my breast milk. I woul

Felicia met me in the practice room when work hours were over. She asked me to dance once. I complied by moving my body as well as I could. Unfortunately, I made two mistakes. However, I remembered those mistakes well and promised not to repeat them. Felicia danced once with me to improve my dance. She said goodbye, so I rested. I took the opportunity to pump breast milk.Someone knocked on the practice door. I knew who it was. “Hi, Darcy,” Lydia greeted me. She glanced outside the room before closing the door.“What's going on outside?” I asked. She closed the door and walked towards me. “Um, no. I saw Felicia. Is there a problem with the preparations for your performance tomorrow?”“Sinclair changed the order of the dancers. So, I have to perform another dance. She checked to see if I had mastered my dance," I explained.Lydia nodded. “Things are chaotic in the main rehearsal room. They fought over who got to perform first. I never wanted to do the opening,” she confessed.“Because

[Sinclair]I stared at the report on the desk without blinking. “This is what you call a problem?” I asked.“Yes. The first performance is crucial for the club's anniversary,” Enzo explained. “We couldn't contact the clothing designer at this point.”I closed my eyes, trying to calm myself down. “Appoint another tailor to resize the clothes. The designer can't protest because he broke the contract. They should be available whenever we need their services.”I came as fast as possible from my office after he called me. Since Felicia was in the practice room, I couldn't check on Darcy's condition. I thought the problem he referred to had something to do with her. Damn it.“We can't give those clothes into the hands of another tailor, Sin,” he reminded me.“I'll take responsibility. Hurry up and do it. We've wasted a lot of time on a trivial matter.” I handed him the report. “Is there anything else I need to check?”Enzo accepted the file and sighed. “All the preparations are in order, bu

I excused myself from the VVIP guests and welcomed them to enjoy the food and drinks on the serving table. They could ask the waitress in the room for anything. After they shooed me away for interrupting their spectacle, I left.Neil walked towards the back door. I followed him. Enzo strolled beside me, even though I had forbidden him to come along. The guests needed one of us to be among them. However, I understood his concern. The one who came to see me was the most feared man in the city. Even though I was Enzo's superior, he felt responsible for my safety. Meanwhile, I had Neil as my bodyguard. Two security guards opened the door for me. Four men dressed all in black stood before me. They turned to the car behind them. One of them opened the back door, and a short, fat man emerged.“Sin Wyndham,” he greeted me with a mocking smile. “I admit you're a genius, but sending your man to deceive me is crossing the line.”“I didn't send anyone to deceive you, Joaquin.” I stared at him but

[Darcy]The club's situation was significantly different from a regular day. A line of cars was parked at the back of the building, and some unknown people were pacing back and forth, unloading items from the vehicles. Tonight was the highlight of the SW nightclub celebration. After giving Lydia the milk bag, I headed for the practice room. Felicia wouldn't be teaching me but focusing on the other dancers. She would check my dance a few hours before the show started.I was at ease not having to explain or bother hiding the bite marks on my neck. I'd already compressed it with an ice pack and covered it with makeup. However, the sweat would wear off the disguise.“Tonight is a special night, different from a normal performance night. You can't make any mistakes,” Felicia instructed. She entered the backstage room while we were getting ready.“Meryl, you determine the success or failure of our nightclub's anniversary event. Dance well. Make me proud to have chosen you,” she told the wom

“Oh.” Taylor glanced at the door. “Is that your boyfriend? Okay. I'll be in the bedroom. Don't worry. You won't know I'm here.”“Tay,” I called. I sighed in annoyance as I watched her continue walking towards the bedroom on the right. What did she want by coming to my place? Didn't she attend the club's birthday event to represent Oscar? Why did she leave the place and follow me instead? That woman was annoying.I turned toward the door. Sinclair wouldn't have rung the bell, but he was the only one who had ever come to my unit. Felicia was at the club. She wouldn't leave until all the dancers had performed. Could it be Wesley?I approached the door and opened it. It was Scott. He handed me my phone, which I left in the car's back seat. After thanking him, I closed the door. I didn't remember taking it out of my bag.“Hm. That's too bad. I was hoping to meet the guy you're with right now,” Taylor said from the bedroom doorway.“You promised I wouldn't know you were here,” I protested.

[Darcy]“This yard is too exposed. You should talk at home,” Scott scanned around us. He signaled for my cousin and me to walk to the porch first.I complied. It was quiet, but that didn't guarantee there wasn't someone somewhere pointing a gun at me. We walked up to the front door. A man opened it. He smiled kindly at Taylor and me.Scott cleared his throat when the man frowned at him. “Lionel, let me introduce you. These are Darcy Wyndham and Taylor Bailey.”I extended my hand to the man. “Darcy Bailey,” I corrected.Lionel smiled as he returned my handshake. “Lionel Dupont at your service, Mrs. Sinclair Wyndham,” he said.Taylor chuckled. “Darcy Wyndham sounds sexier,” she teased.“Shut up, Tay,” I said irritably.“Would you like to see your room?” Lionel asked.“Not now. My cousin and I need to talk. Is there a room where no one will disturb us?” I looked around me.The house was magnificent and modern on the outside. The inside was equally fashionable. “I'm not dealing with former employees.” I glanced at the door. “Is he waiting outside?” After Neil nodded, I continued, “Tell him to leave.”“Okay, boss,” Neil replied. He walked out of my office, but Wesley forced his way in.I knew he wouldn't give up that easily. Looking at his neat appearance and no facial injuries, he escaped Joaquin's house without fighting with his men. How could he do that? He came alone without a partner to protect him.“Boss, please listen to me first,” Wesley persuaded.“How dare you set foot in my office,” I said.“I'm not your employee anymore. I didn't violate the prohibition against club employees being in your main office,” he argued.Although people knew about my dirty business, they didn't discuss it. Employees and customers at Wyndham Finance didn't notice that SW Group was mine. And I wanted to keep it that way. I didn't want to lose customers who thought I funded the company with dirty money.“I can find that woman without your help.” I glanced a

[Sinclair]Darcy was smart. She was used to dealing with cunning and manipulative people. It would have been easy for her to discuss a prenuptial agreement when she had the upper hand. However, I didn't let that happen. I teased and took that woman's mind off the prenuptial contract. Because she had so many problems, she had a hard time focusing her mind. She struggled between taking her son or saving her parents.I didn't expect her to choose George and Diana over Keane. Her parents were evil. They borrowed money and couldn't pay it back, plunging Darcy into the nightlife. Yet she chose to save those two criminals.“Four,” Darcy whispered. “That's enough, Sinclair.”“Sin,” I corrected. She didn't respond. I look at her face. She was fast asleep in my arms. I turned her to lie on her back. Her face shouldn't hit the surface of the pillow. Seeing that her skin wasn't red, the doctor's medicine was working. Her face was much better than on Sunday night. “You'd better eat before we sign the contract. Mason and I had breakfast.” Sinclair glanced at the plate of food before me.“I'll eat in the car,” I refused.“Now,” he ordered.I sighed. Arguing with Sinclair was a waste of time. I quickly finished my breakfast. He or the waiter put a full breakfast menu on my plate, but I ate it in less than ten minutes.“Can we start now?” I asked after my mouth was empty.Mason placed a folder in front of me and Sinclair. “Please read the agreement carefully. I've revised it according to the results of your discussion,” he said.“We didn't discuss anything last night,” I complained.“I have included your conditions. Sin will protect your parents while in prison,” he reported.I was stunned. “Where are the conditions?” I asked. The contents of the agreement letter were the same as what I had read last night. So, I skimmed it, and nothing had changed. Only one part of Sinclair's obligations added up. He would protect my parents.I couldn't be with Ke

I put the document and envelope on the table. “I've told you. I don't want to marry you. Oh, my God. Sinclair knew how to control the situation the way he wanted to. Of course, I had many wishes that I would never be able to fulfill.I wanted my son back in my arms. I wanted my parents to serve their sentences in peace. I could get out of debt by selling the house Cullen gave me. But I couldn't do that. That house was his only gift.“I will only grant one wish. Nothing more,” Sinclair continued.“I—” I mumbled.Oh, my God. My whole body was shaking. I didn't know who to choose. My son was precious to me, and I feared for his well-being if we were away for too long. I also loved my parents. After storing my stuff in my locker, Lydia took me to the training room upstairs. I didn't know there was another practice room other than the one on the same floor as Sinclair's office. Remembering him, I realized that he didn't stay overnight. That was strange. Sinclair didn't miss a single night of sleeping at my place after we slept together. Did my facial state disgust him? I didn't care what he thought of my appearance, but I needed the money to pay off my debts.Dancing on weekends wouldn't do much to increase my income. The club's birthday had passed. Patrons wouldn't be as generous on a festive day when tipping me. Besides, they'd get tired of me if there were new dancers.“What's her name?” I asked.“Kirsten Green,” Lydia replied.I performed alone in my first four performances but was confident I could dance with other dancers. I was more experienced in group dancing than solo. I didn't mind sharing tips, especially since I only had thirty million dollars left.Raising twen

[Darcy]I took the object out of the box. A few keys were attached to a keychain with a capital D: D for Darcy. My eyes heat up. There was only one person who knew my dream. I only told him about it.My tears fell, touching the keys in my hand. I glanced at my phone. The house was huge, white-painted, and had a small courtyard at the front. The front faced east, perfect for enjoying the sunrise.I put the key and the chain into the box and saw a piece of paper at the bottom. I picked it up and opened it. My heart almost stopped, recognizing Cullen's handwriting on the paper. My guess was correct. The house was a gift from my late husband.“My dear Darcy,” Cullen greeted me in the salutation.“Today you're exclusively breastfeeding our miracle son. You sacrificed so much of what you loved for him. You lacked rest, put your work aside, neglected your friends, and even lost your beautiful body.“I want you to know: I'm proud of you. I didn't let anyone dictate to me. My parents knew my nature and never tried to persuade or force me to do their will. What did a fired employee like him know about my father's killer?“Joaquin wasn't just the mastermind of your father's murder. He was also the one who threatened your mother's best friend. The woman who should have comforted your mother after losing her youngest son called her a failed mother. Paige Wyndham didn't die of deep sorrow, Sin,” Wesley added.I took out my gun, fired at the three security cameras in the hall, and aimed one bullet just above Wesley's head. Since I was using a silencer, there was no sound of gunfire, only the shattering of the cameras and the impact of the bullet on the wall. The large room was suddenly silent after the sound of camera fragments falling to the floor ended. Everyone held their breath. Their eyes fixed on Wesley before slowly turning to me. Their faces were deathly pale, including Joaquin's.“Aargh!” the woman at Wesley's side s

[Sinclair]Fortunately, it wasn't me who fell to the floor, but him. The man lost to my sniper's speed. His comrades drew in a surprised breath. They were well-trained people. No one screamed in terror, seeing their friend die before them.Whether the man was nervous or surprised, he shouldn't have pressed his gun's trigger. I didn't come to spill their blood. My enemy was Joaquin, not his stupid men. Neil opened the door to the house for me.“Drag his wife and children into the hall. We'll wait until Joaquin comes. Let him know. If he doesn't arrive within thirty minutes, I'll kill his family one by one, starting with his first son,” I ordered.“Okay, boss," Neil said.I could hear his satisfied tone. The bloodthirsty man must have missed that tense atmosphere. We hadn't been at war with any group for a long time. I purposefully played it safe because it wasn't time to go all out.I would have taken Joaquin out and left his family living on the streets, but it wasn't the right time.
