DRACO

His target was a girl. He had no idea he was hired to kill a woman. He was a merciless bounty hunter, but he had strict rules against harming women and children. His contact hadn't briefed him properly,he would've never accepted the job. They only gave him a time and place, a description of clothing and that was all. He never met with any of his contacts prior to the kill. It made his job much easier, sealing off loose ends, faster. He'd never really cared about the reasons why anyone hired him, he was in it all for the money. And he needed the money badly at this particular point in time. His time was running out, he needed this money or his grandma was gone forever. She was the only family he had, took him in right after his parents died and looked after him ever since. He couldn't let her die now that he finally had the chance to look after her in the same manner she had looked after him.

He couldn't kill another woman, not after what happened in San Francisco. He would never forgive himself for what he'd done. He had a woman's blood on his hands and the idea of getting another woman's blood on it again made him sick. He still hated himself for it after all those years. Spent years in exile, but all that did nothing to stop the nightmares. But he needed this money too much. Three million euros was almost enough to put him off the bounty market forever, almost.

He sighed as he took in his surroundings. The inn he was staying in for this mission was small, much too small for his distaste. He couldn't bring any women here, the bed was hardly enough to accommodate him, talk less of another extra person. But the place was neat, and the inn keepers were extra nice so he found that he was able to tolerate the place. He checked his gun on the bedside table, fully loaded. He never went anywhere without his gun. He was a bounty hunter,he perceived people were always going to be after him.

He was always extra careful about covering his tracks, never left a sign of his presence anywhere he went, was always up and ready to leave when an assignment was over, rarely formed attachments anywhere he went, he decided attachments would only make leaving harder and tracing him easier. But the life was getting lonely and at thirty two years of age, finally settling down and leaving his past behind was beginning to seem like a good option after all. A place like bronze city would be a perfect place to settle down. Admist the gang clashes, the place was actually peaceful and the people were comely and friendly. But the most alluring aspect of the town was his target. He had an instant hard on just thinking about her, the way his hands felt on hers, the way her chest heaved up and down while he was on top her. During the course of their struggle some of her buttons had come undone and he could peep the swell of her full breasts, the captivating way her skin shone in the night light. And her hair, oh her long lustrous hair, he couldn't help but wonder how it would feel twisted in his hands as he drove deep into her from behind.

Oh Fuck. He knew he was in deep shit, here he was fantasizing about the person he'd been sent to kill. Some of his bounties just required him to locate the assigned target, others required him to inflict physical pain, but this one was for the kill. He was required to kill Stacey, that was the task he'd been assigned with and the more he thought of it, the more difficult it seemed.

He wondered what crime she'd committed for someone, anyone to want her dead. She seemed harmless. Okay not so harmless, she sent him spiraling to the ground with one kick, he only knew few people who could achieve that feat. Being in his line of work required him to be tough,he always had to keep in shape, so her being able to disable him for a minute made one thing certain to him, that she was tough also and if, only if he was going to kill her eventually he'd have to be prepared too,he didn't dare underestimate her like the first time.

He needed to see her again, his target. If she turned out to be bad enough, killing her would put less guilt on him, but if she wasn't, he had no idea on the line of action he was going to take. He really wished things weren't so complicated. He'd never been at crossroads like this before and worse he desired her. He wanted her in his bed, under him, screaming his name and digging her nails into his back. He wanted to do all sorts of nasty things to her, he wondered how her lips would feel on him, around his d!ck. Her oh so full lips that twisted into a frown when he addressed her as a girl and not a woman. He really meant no her harm, one couldn't blame him for getting dumbstruck, having no idea what to say when he uncovered that she wasn't male.

He doubted she'd even let him in her bed, their first encounter certainly didn't put him in the good light. If he was going to have a shot at getting his erotic fantasies to reality, he needed to change the impression she had of him at this point, but he didn't even know where to find her. He was sure she wasn't a regular visitor at the club, he'd been going there to drink a week before their encounter and he'd never seen her there until last night.

He hadn't slept all night up till the morning. Everytime he closed his eyes he could almost feel her. Oh so close, and her fragrance was the most maddening scent, it did crazy things to his mind. How was he supposed to concentrate and come up with a plan when all he could think about was her and the many positions they could be in, positions that had nothing with him trying to kill her. It had been so long he desired a woman this way, there was something so intriguing about her that he couldn't put a finger on. All this sexual tension and he didn't even get to have a good look at her. He needed to clear his head, really needed to think straight. He fished out the pack of cigar in his trousers, lit it and took a long drag. It did little to calm his nerves. With the cigar in hand, he picked up his phone from the desk, he needed to call his grandma's doctor, figure out how much time he had left. And...he needed to find Stacey, he needed to see her again. Maybe if he finally did see her, he'll be able to get whatever obsession he was having with her out of his system. He needed to make arrangements and he needed to make them fast.

He ran his hand lazily through his hair, God he needed a bath, he stank. He had to take a shower then contine laying out his plans. He stepped out of his clothes, and was just about to run his bath when he received the call from his contact.

? Is it done yet?"

" No. Not yet. There was a miscalculation. Didn't know I was hired to assassinate a girl, er... sorry woman" he replied.

" What did the gender have to do with anything. My source gave me the word that you get the job done eh?" his client had a slight Mexican accent. " I want the Job finished as soon as possible" his client continued.

" I'll get it done as soon as I can" he replied " as soon as I can".

Man this task was getting more frustrating every passing minute. He'll have to come to a decision too and he wasn't too sure he was going to like it.

He got up and tiptoed to check on her, the morning light was starting to seep into the room, he adjusted the window blinds in an attempt to block out the light. She looked perfect, asleep in his bed, completely at peace, her gorgeous body splayed on his bed, sated from their lovemaking the previous night. She still had the bandage concealing the gun injury she had earlier the previous day. Someone was making an attempt on her life and it put him on edge. Something told him it might as well be the same person who'd hired him to get her assassinated before. He felt like he needed to tell her the truth, come clean as they were already making progress in their relationship, but he didn't know how to. He was smiling down at her, skin glowing in the morning light, the sun washed over his face, highlighting all his incredible features. He wet his lips with his tongue as he dug into breakfast. "Aren't you going to eat anything yet?" he asked between mouthfuls of food, when he noticed she hadn't eaten anything.Oh she was hungry indeed, but not for some damn toast, he made nice toasts alright, but she was more interested on getting her mouth on his body. He had planned on keeping the info away from her for as long as possible, not wanting to scare her off, but now he'd ruined the trust they'd managed to build and he had no idea on how to fix it. She had the sudden urge to drag her tongue over it, to taste him. Her eyes dragged lazily over his frame, settling on the waistband of his short, his bulge evident against the thin fabric. Her tongue darted out wet her lips as she parted her legs, inviting him in. She watched him advance towards the bed in long purposeful strides. He dragged her body across the bed, setting her in place directly underneath him, his tall frame towering above her. He parted her legs even further, giving himself full access to her. She gasped as his mouth found the sensitive spot behind her ears and nibbled softly on it. He placed light feathery kisses on the exposed skin of h
