I jumped seeing my husband enter his office the way he did. His eyes wide in confusion as he took sight of me. I smiled not giving him any time to overthink things, jumping into his arms as if our lives depended on it. Technically, me being here had our lives on the line, but he didn’t know that yet.
“How?” He asked and I smiled at him cupping his cheeks and connecting our lips. Kissing him passionately, never in my life have I ever thought that I would miss his touch this much.
