Chapter 7 - Something Is Fishy

"Sir, I think I have seen that girl somewhere before!" Rishabh said in a thinking manner while he and Rudra were waiting outside the operation theater.

"Where?" Rudra asked furrowing his eyebrows.

"I think she is Piya ma'am's friend, I have seen her many times whenever the Singhanias throw a party." Rishabh pointed out and Rudra frowned.

"Why did I never meet with her?" Rudra asked himself, thinking.

"Sir, when did you start attending parties? And even if you start doing, I know you very well, you will be a hundred meters away from women!" Rishabh laughed and instantly earned a glare from Rudra.

"I just don't like women, they make me angry!" Rudra replied, rubbing his temple.

"I don't think so, you didn't think twice before picking up that unknown girl in your arms!" He teased him and Rudra rolled his eyes at his overthinking.

"Do you like her?" He dared to ask.

"Shut up and call Piya to come if she really is her friend!" Rudra barked at him and he quickly took out his phone in fear.

"The fuck dude, I told you something and you did something else. I told you not to do it in real. Are you stupid?" Piya scolded Neha who was now conscious and trying to understand what happened!

"Dude, I am not stupid. I was crossing the road and suddenly a car came and knocked me out. How is it my fault that the accident happened in real?" Neha asked, feeling pain in her head and arm.

"It's my fault, I shouldn't have given you that stupid idea. I am sorry." Piya started crying, looking at her in pain.

"Dude, I am fine and alive but I am not gonna leave that driver because of who I am in this condition!" Neha fumed in anger.

"Dude, sorry to say but the owner of the car is the cousin brother of Jai." Piya apologized on behalf of Rudra.

"So what? What if I had died because of him?" Neha asked.

"But it's the driver's fault, why are you blaming him? He is the one who quickly took you to the hospital, you should thank him." Piya explained to her but Neha was feeling very angry and wanted to vent her anger on someone.

"Wait, he is waiting outside, I will call him." Piya told her.

Outside the hospital room, Rudra was pacing here and there deeply thinking about whether he should go inside or not when Rishabh decided to intervene.

"Sir, why don't you go inside?" He suggested which Rudra obviously wanted to do but was stopping himself.

"I... I... I don't know what to say if I go inside." Rudra stuttered because of nervousness and Rishabh got amused to see the new side of his boss.

It was always Rudra who is in authority and his intimidating nature makes others nervous then how come suddenly he became nervous?

"Why are you nervous, Sir?" Rishabh asked daringly and regretted instantly when Rudra glared towards him which made him shut his mouth.

"Who is nervous? I am not." He said, correcting his suit, and getting mentally ready to go inside the room.

"You stay here, I am going inside." Rudra ordered him and suddenly going inside the room felt like a challenge to him.

He was about to push the door when it opened on it's own and Piya came outside.

"Brother, come inside. Let me introduce you to my friend!" Piya told happily and dragged Rudra inside the room while he was reluctant to go as he was nervous like his teacher was about to scold him for doing something wrong.

Neha was busy quarreling with the nurse who was ordering her to take the medicines but she was saying no as she can't swallow bitter medicines.

"Neha." Piya called her to grab her attention and when Neha looked towards her, she got an earth-shattering shock.

"Youuu!!!" Neha was speechless looking at Rudra and he was looking everywhere but not towards her.

Tf, how come he is here? Neha thought, not believing her eyes and fate.

"What happened? Why are you looking so shocked?" Piya whispered to Neha, coming near her.

"He is the one!" She felt short of breath as she continuously kept looking at his blank face.

How can he behave so calmly after touching her so intimately that she is also feeling embarrassed to think about it?

"He what?" Piya asked, not understanding her.

"He is the stranger I was talking about!" Neha murmured to her and now, it was her turn to get shocked.

"Dude, I think you are misunderstanding. Rudra isn't that type of man. He stays away from women like they are some kind of disease and people also believe that he is gay! And here you are blaming him for touching you? He doesn't even know you, touching is very far away." Piya defended him though she had full trust in Neha that she wasn't lying but she knows Rudra also very well and she is sure that Rudra can never do something like that.

"Dude, I am sure, it's him but why is he standing like he is seeing me for the first time?" Neha asked, looking at him suspiciously.

"That's what I am saying, he is seeing you for the first time so how can he come to your house and touch you inappropriately?" Piya asked her, making her fall into a dilemma.

"Does he have a twin brother?" Neha asked her.

"As much as I know him, he doesn't have one. I think the stranger looks like him, that's why you are thinking that he is the person!" Piya told her but Neha knew something was fishy and the truth can only be found by the guy standing in front of her.

"I have a plan to find out the truth!" Neha told her, smirking.

"What?"

"Just play along with me, it's plan 33!" Neha instructed her and she started her drama.

"Neha, are you feeling fine, now?" Piya asked in a normal voice so that everyone could hear.

"What will happen to me? I am absolutely fine!" The sudden change in Neha's voice and the happiness on her face shocked them except Piya who knew the plan.

"We were sad but now we are happy to see you conscious." Piya smiled while she was acting like she was confused AF.

"Accidents happen, dude! Why do you need to be so worried?" Neha told with her changed tone and smiled brightly.

Everyone looked at her curiously because the eyes which were showing sadness and anger a minute ago are now filled with happiness and excitement like some cheerful girl. They also noticed that her pale face was now glowing like sunshine like it got it's life back.

"You are behaving differently!" Piya stated gazing at her and Neha frowned at her words.

"It's me, babe!" Neha said smiling, shaking her head.

"Nurse, call the doctor, I think something is wrong with her. Suddenly her voice changed and so did her behavior." Piya told the nurse while she also noticed the change but Neha acted confused like she wasn't understanding anything.

"Ughh, what are you talking about? How am I behaving differently? This is me." Neha said laughing, not getting the point.

"You were angry and sad a minute ago but now look at you." Piya told and Neha did look at herself trying to understand what she meant.

"Angry and me? Never! When did I ever get angry with you?" Neha asked giggling.

"And don't even talk about sadness, when did you ever see me crying?" Neha asked and Piya made a shocked face.

"Fuck your bullshit and tell me, who is this hottie over here?" Neha asked eye raping Rudra whose eyes turned wide listening to her and Piya started coughing at the bold choice of her words.
