Dominic's POV

she followed me to my office

When I told the gang I need a Nanny for Emily, Ava suggested I hired Alyssa; she needed a job to pay her tuition fees. I quickly agreed without giving it a second thought, a chance to see her again after how she left me was an opportunity I wouldn't dare to miss

Emily is my six year old daughter, she's the reason I don't give up on everything, but to see her smile is worth the hustle and struggles I face everyday. Emily was conceived when I was 19

Flashback

"Give me some money" Victoria shouted at me "No vicky you need to stop doing drugs, you promised you would, if you love me; you will stop doing drugs" I said to her. "Its not for any fucking drugs, just give me the fucking money" She shouted "that's what you told me the last time so No I'm not going to give you any money" Just believe me this time Dom" she plead" ok then tell me what the money is for Vicky?" " I need some stuff" she said as she folded her arms "Stuff like what? I asked " Just give me the money" she shouted at me, she then grabbed my wallet off the counter I snatched it out of her hand "Tell me what the money is for?" I asked her , she then ran her hands through her and said two words that caused me to make a promise I have to keep for the rest of my life. "I'm Pregnant" she said.

How did I screw up like that and got her pregnant, me as a 19 year old father, that's when I promised that I will be in my child's life no matter the cost.

The day Emily was born, I was at a party and my mom called and said caught Victoria doing drugs and she passed out in the bathroom I should me her at the hospital. I shouldn't have went to that stupid party with my father, Victoria has tried to end the pregnancy multiple times, I knew I shouldn't left her without supervision.

I rushed to the hospital, when I got there the doctor told me he had to perform a C-Section on her, because the drug could harm the baby and he would be back with more information I thanked him before he left.

Why?, What could be the reason Victoria tried to end a child's life so many times? .

Two Hours Later

The doctor returned and said

"Mr. Russo you can go see your daughter now in the Nursery and your wife is in room 12".

"Thank you Doctor" I said as I ran down the hallway, I stopped at the Nursery first before I went inside I had to calm my nerves "Mr. Russo are you ready to met your daughter" I lady dressed in pink asked obviously she's a nurse, "Yes" I respond I walked inside the room, another lady handed me my daughter, tears fell from my eyes "First time? the nurse asked "Yes" I answered.

That's when my mind drift to Victoria, "I will be back little one" I said before I handed the baby to the nurse and went to Victoria's room. When I got to the room she looked exhausted "Hey Vicky" I said to her, she turned her head and looked at me with hate "Happy now you got your stupid child" she shouted "she's not stupid and she's a innocent child Vicky leave her out of this. she's your child as well how could you say something like that about your child?". I said to her.

"My child" she scoffed "I never wanted it, why do you think I tried to end it so many times?" She said without regret, "Don't call my child a it" I shouted at her "I never wanted it" she said before before she started coughing and shaking I ran outside the room to get a Doctor after finding a doctor , he followed me back to her room; where we found her on the ground, the doctor pressed a button and nurses started to enter the room.

SOMETIME LATER

A doctor came and said to me "I'm sorry Mr. Russo but she's gone" then handed me a note, It read.

"I never wanted it. You caused this."

I placed the note in my pocket, then thanked the doctor. After I went to the Nursery and got the baby, while I was rocking here to sleep a nurse walked in and asked "What would you like to name her Mr. Russo?" I looked up at her and said

Emily smiled "You like that little one" I said while rocking her

End of Flashback

"Ms. Hunter I would like you to be Emily's Nanny", I said to her "Alyssa we crossed the line of being formal stage last night, and what are the advantages?" She asked.

"Well you will live here, wash, cook and clean for Emily of course, pick Emily up from school, help her with her projects, homework etc, oh yeah and keep her safe at all times and for all that I will ensure your tuition fees are paid and you will get your original pay of fifty dollars an hour, but the disadvantage is that you can't leave here, you will be attending online classes to spend more time with Emily while I am out" I said before walking to my desk.

"I don't have a problem with taking care of your child, but I have to go to classes I can't skip school" she said. I took out a folder with some papers and handed it to her "I got you in the university of Pisa, so you will have classes online and the best part the times you have classes Emily will be at school so you can focus in classes" I said "I will think about it" she said before I could say anything someone knocked the door "Come in" I shouted then Lisa walked in

Fuck this wants now.

"Hey baby, I was waiting for you downstairs, but the guys told me you're in here, Hello" she said to Alyssa.

Oh hell no

"I'm Dominic's wife" she said before she sitting on my lap.

Oh fuck no why did she come in here I didn't even wanted to marry her, my father arranged this damn marriage. I just want her to join ties with my Mafia.

"Nice to meet you" Alyssa said while looking at me with hate, I could see the tears in her eyes.

My heartaches to see her cry.

"I will think about your proposal and let you know" she said, before she walked to the door "you have a day to let me know your decision, and have will show you to your room" "whatever" she said while slamming the door.

"What her problem" Lisa said

Before she stormed out of the room. Stupid bitch.

Knock knock

"Come in" I said

It was James "hey man what did you say to that wife of yours she's livid, smashing all the stuff in the kitchen" I didn't respond to him, I sat there with Alyssa on my mind as the previous night replayed in my mind.

Alyssa's POV

I left the room after his wife walked in and went to the living room where everyone on was. "Show me to the room, your boss said you should" I said to Ava without look at her.

How could I sleep with a man who has a child that's not so bad, but he's married happily fucking married to a slut looking bitch. But that's his lifestyle, fucking random women.

After Ava showed me to the room, the room has a bathroom, living room, a small kitchen and a bedroom. Damn it's bigger than the apartment

I then got out of the bed and pulled the sheets off the bed a lady then walked in "I will do it" she said "who are you?"
