Two girls were attending to her. One was touching her hair while the other one was asking her questions. When was her last time she had visited the salon? Which brand did she prefer and which suited her skin?
Once they were finished, she glanced at her reflection in the gargantuan mirror wall in front of her. Her light brown hair was beautifully highlighted and they felt incredibly soft to the touch and damn pretty. Her creamy complexion looked more radiant than ever. Her nails gleamed a striking blood red. She smiled at the two girls who did this brilliant job.
“ It’s beautiful. Thank you.” She smiled, momentarily forgetting that she wasn’t kidnapped from her friend’s house.
However, her mind quickly went back to him. Her head flooded with questions. Who was he? Why was he pampering her and what was the deal with guns? Nothing seemed to add up.
“You are welcome, ma’am. It’s an honour that you liked our work. “ The beautician smiled and pulled her out of her thoughts.
She began to ponder the possibility of escaping the salon. She was also dreading.
‘ He can sell me into a brothel, force himself on me, Or even kill me. ‘ she thought, shuddering at the notion.
It was incredibly embarrassing for her to recall a moment from last night when she had thrown herself at him. Although she couldn’t remember the entire evening with him, they spent together. She distinctly remembered waking up in the ring of his arms. Her brain and heart were orchestrating her to flee away. She was educated. She had the potential for any career. If he could not find her in her family’s house, he would surely dismiss her from his mind.
His man was guarding the door. She could see his back through the glass door. She could coax him. At least, she thought to try it once. She couldn’t overpower the apprehension and guilt from last night. Her gaze was fixed on the man who remained completely stilled. He was looking like a terminal figure like other statues. She had no idea where his eyes were behind the dark glasses. Her heart started to pound in her chest.
Suddenly, his phone rang in his pocket. He retrieved it and hoisted it up. He stepped outside of the glass door. She let out a sharp exhale, feeling relieved. This was her opportunity to escape whatever he had planned for her. Gathering her all the courage, she drew on her feet. She felt goose bumps in fear. She cautiously opened the door. Her gaze fixed on him. His back was turned on the door. She stepped out and ran as fast as she could, without looking back. It was a live or die situation for her. She wanted to live.
The tranquillity was broken by what sounded like several gunshots. Panic erupted as people started to shout in terror, “ Gunshots! Gunshots!” She could hear from some people and fear was visible in their voices.
She put her trembling hands on her ears and rushed toward the elevator. Suddenly, she felt a force push against her back. Two iron hands gripped her around the belly, crawling from her back. She gasped, unbelievably recognizing his touch and cologne. Her back was pressed hard against his stone-hard chest. She looked shocked, her eyes widened. She stilled for a short second. She struggled against him, trying to pry his hands away. This macho man failed her. She felt powerless in his hold. Her feet lifted off the ground, and panic set in. Her heart drummed in her ears.
“You really shouldn’t be doing this.” His saccharine tone filled her ears, yet his words held a warning. He whirled her to face him like she was a doll, so light in his grasp. His emerald eyes stared at her bitterly.
“Please, just let me go home.” She pleaded, tears starting to stream down her cheeks.
“Stop crying.” He snapped gritting his teeth, slamming his fist against the metal wall of the elevator. She flinched in fear, terrified that she might be his next target. A scream escaped her lips.
With both forearms pressed against his chest, she tried to push him away. Her tearful gaze dropped to the floor. She bit her tongue continuously to stop her tears, realizing she couldn’t push him away. He put her down on her feet and forcibly gripped her wrist. The elevator dinged and the door slid open. He pulled her with him, looking as if he might explode with rage. She looked back. There was a dent where he had punched the wall. Astonishingly, her head snapped back at him with an open mouth.
He’s incredibly strong, she thought.
He shoved her into his car, “ Do you want me to use chloroform to put you under control. I’m not going to fuc**** hurt you. Just have Lunch with me like a flighty and decent girlfriend. Then you can take your fine a** back to your blo**y dollhouse.” He said coldly, almost shouting.
Tears threatened to spill from her eyes. His harsh words cut deep. She swallowed the lump in her throat. Her heart plummeted. He fisted his hand as he glared at her. He picked her up and placed her on his lap. She squealed but made no move to resist him, “ Control your fu****g tears, Roselyn. “ he said in a whisper.
‘ How does he know my name? How? He’s so rude!’ she thought.
She was astonished as she looked at him. Her tears automatically stopped, “ H h..” Her words got dead in her mouth.
He grinned and hurtled his head back against the seat. His eyes closed, while he traced circles on her wrist with his thumb.
“ Well! Don’t try to entice me with your open mouth. Last night, you willingly gave yourself. I don’t believe it. Um, I doubt, you’ll do it willingly now. “ He said hoarsely, glancing at her from under his thick lashes.
‘ Does he love to snap? ‘
Her eyes widened in shock. Instantly she tightly shut her mouth. She got up from his lap. He tightened his grip around her waist, pulling her back, and he shook his head, “ You can’t escape from me. You’re mine, till the end of this world. “ He said, his beautiful eyes promising her.
Her heart fluttered, sending jolts down her body. She mostly sat in disbelief, anxious about what he would do next. His words were puzzling her.
‘ He can’t be serious. ‘
He climbed out of his car. Her wrist was sweating where he had clinched it. He tugged her out of the car, revealing a five-star hotel. Her family visited here occasionally, and if not, then once in a year every Christmas. She looked at him. He ran his hand on the rumples. He glanced back at her with a soft smile.
“Did you understand what I just said?” He politely asked.
She nodded at him in a blink. She believed he knew more than her name. She fancied this brunch would end as soon as possible.
He still held her wrist. He was actually behaving like a decent boyfriend which she didn’t get to have ever. She swore he had a serious anger issue, just a little pinch he might explode, or destroy you.
He had reserved a private space with large windows. He must be a billionaire. He could easily get anyone, capable of attracting anyone. Perchance, his anger issue couldn’t hook his choice.
He didn’t budge until she finished her food. He held her hand. Her stomach clenched. She ignored the feelings his touch gave her every time. He strolled down toward the parking lot. He stopped near his car.
“ Who are yo-u?” She dared to ask. She could hear her own breathing, her heart pounding in her chest.
“ Why does it matter? “ he asked, taking a long stride closer to her.
She was scared of him. But she couldn’t show it on her face, giving him the upper hand.
‘Your fear could be someone’s power.’ She recalled her brother’s words in her head.
She squinted at him, noticing his face gleamed with a beautiful smile. He advanced another step toward her. He held her upper arm and opened the door for her. She got in, and he made his way around the car and climbed behind the wheel. She buckled her seat belt.
‘Finally, I’m going home. No more encounters with him.’
“ Did you enjoy your meal?” He asked. From his friendly tone, it felt to her as if they had been dating each other for several years.
“ Y yes, Thank you. “ She said as she kept watching out of the window. He was honouring his promise. They were on their way back home. It brought her a sense of relief. Suddenly, his phone buzzed in his pocket, breaking the silence. She glanced at him.
He is extraordinarily handsome, she thought.
He cleared his throat, directing his gaze out of the window and back on the road. She quickly averted her gaze before he could catch her staring. Instead, she focused on her hands resting in the lap. She was expecting red lines on her wrist, fortunately, there were none. He parked the car in front of the P&F residence. His armed man opened the door for her. Her abductor climbed down the car and rounded it. He dismissed his guard.
The sun shone brightly in the clear blue sky. Swallowing, she stepped down. Her eyes praised what they saw. He took her into the house as it was her first step in. He released her hand at some distance. She ran inside her room without looking back.
“Ana! Isha! “ She shouted joyfully, she was thrilled to be home, as she entered the room. She forgot all the time spent with him, looking at her friend’s face but only for a second.
“ Rose, are you alright? We were worried about you. “ Ana asked, embracing her warmly.
“ I’m fine.” She replied, assuring her, wrapping her arms around her.
Isha stood up from the bed and joined in the hug, “ We missed you.” She said loudly. They fought and argued but their love for one another was undeniable.
She stepped away from them and gazed back at him. He made her heart race. He was speaking with his guard.
“ He was here the whole time pointing his gun at us. Luckily, our parents didn’t show up.“ Ana said with a grimace.
“ He didn’t even allow me to go to the bathroom. “ Isha mopped.
“ Well! You should take the chance while he’s occupied with him. “ Ana murmured, suggesting. She looked at her longer. “ What did he do to you? “ Ana mumbled.
“ You’re looking pretty and your hair! It’s just awesome.” Isha said a little loud. Both touched her hair and nodded at each other in approval.
“ Ladies! “ he said as he cleared his throat. Her body stiffened and she glanced at him with wide eyes, “I’ll make one thing clear. If any of you try to harm her, or put any stupid questions. Believe me! I’ll chop your bones.” He threatened them.
She saw them trembling, “We love her.” Ana cowardly replied.
“We won’t hurt her.” Isha completed.
“You! “ He pointed his finger at Isha, his jaw tightened. “ She’s not your doll anymore. “
“G g g got it. She’s my sister,” she said speedily, stammering, looking at him in terror.
He turned back to her and they stepped away from her in fright. He caressed her cheek. She looked into his eyes with parted lips. One corner of his lips lifted up.
He ambled out of the room. She let out a deep breath. Once he was out of sight, she glanced back at them. They were still staring at the empty doorway where he had been.
“He has gone.” She said with a sense of relief.
“ Yes, what..... “ Isha opened her mouth to ask her but immediately stopped herself.
“You don’t want him to chop your bones. “ Ana smirked, reminding her.
“ Yes! Let’s swim since we can’t ask her anything. It’s useless to get excited.” Isha contorted her face.
“You need to pee, I guess. “ Ana chuckled, reminding her.
“Oh, “ Isha exclaimed as she ran to the washroom.
She was in the centre of the bedroom. Isha made excuses to their parents that it would be a night out at Ana’s room. She closed her eyes hoping she’d forget this day as a nightmare as well as last night too. It seemed almost hard to erase this day.
It was nearly impossible she knew it deep down. One nightstand, gunshots, his angry look, charming smile, his attractive features, and a glint of amusement in his beautiful emerald eyes were fresh in her mind, it was impossible to forget.
Liam Rodriguez His phone pinged in his pocket. He was still in the same suit from the morning. He removed his coat and threw it on the bed. He fished out his phone and unlocked it. ' Wanna race? big brother! - Kairo.' He put it back in his pocket. He didn't remove his holster. It wasn't like he didn't trust his men. He just didn't wanna take risks. Anyone could betray. He walked out into the garden area. " I want that sports car. " Danil demanded. " Brother, I want that car. " Kairo mopped like a kid. ' Mafia men's sons never could be kids. They were bo
Roselyn She opened her eyes. Isha didn't come to wake her up today. She daily asked her to make coffee and bring breakfast to her room. Then Isha decided what kind of dress she was going to make her wear for the day. Isha never missed the routine. She roamed her eyes around. He was in her room. Her widened eyes caught his sight. She gasped and sucked in her breath. She was perplexed to see him so early. ' Was he there the whole night? ' she thought. " Good morning." His emerald eyes were staring at her. His lips were parted in a small smile. He was sitting on the only chair in the room like a king on his throne. His sight returned the whole scary memories fr
Liam Rodriguez He drove away from her house clouded with her thoughts. He was sure. She belonged to him, the pink diamond on her ring finger was proof of it now. He would not hesitate to spill blood for her if it required. He didn't bother about it. She didn't reply to his three words. All he wanted was her loyalty, soul, and love. He already had her in his arms, he smiled at the thought. She wasn't any stuff or thing for him. She was his life. Suddenly, His phone pinged in his pocket, breaking the chain of his thoughts. He halted his car. He fished it out. Danil threw a party today. Kairo asked him to come as soon as possible. In fact, the three brothers never had enjoyed any party without each other. " Twenty minutes. " He typed quickly and sent. He started the engine instantly.
She opened her eyes. Her eyes riveted the ceiling of the roof. She felt a weight on her stomach. His hand was on her stomach. Her hand landed on a strong hand. She snapped her head toward her stomach and then her left side. She skipped her heartbeat and forgot to breathe. She inhaled largely from her opened mouth. He was calmingly sleeping beside her. She didn't see him so calm until. She neutralized her breaths. Last night hovered over her brain. Tears slipped from her eyes. Mrs Pinto asked her to leave the house as she thought she could be dangerous for all. She quickly wiped it away as she remembered he hated the tears in her eyes. She did not want him to reprimand her in the morning. How did she come here? Did he again...... no!? She shook her head. She looked down at her. She was in the same clothes from last night. She was relieved. She held his hand in her so
Apprehensively, she was pacing toward his room as there was no other choice. Suddenly, a strong hand pulled her into a dark room and clamped her mouth. It was dark in the room. Her heart began to beat faster as she thought the same attacker attacked her. "Don't shout, please. I'm removing my hand. " he slowly whispered in her ear. She nodded instantly to get free from the hold. He removed his hand and switched on the light. "Hacker, what are you doing here? " She smiled happily, " You scared me. " " I'm your saviour for today. " He smirked. He was a tall man with muscles, Jet black hair and dark grey eyes. He was a handsome boy who was always her saviour.
Liam It was a strange feeling which he never had before in his entire life. It took a load off of his chest when he found her safe in his arms. He knew he had feelings for her otherwise he'd never forced her. He didn't give a damn whether she wanted him or not. " We should leave for the airport. " Danil said. " Sir... Sorry to disturb you. " Danny was gasping for air. He apprehended the meaning of it. " You should join Kairo and her friends. I'll join you later. " He said in his commanding voice. " Ok! See you then. " Danil strode to leave but halted near the door, " Is everything alright, bro
Liam It boiled his blood when he saw his hand on her shoulder. It added fuel to the burning fire when he saw her comfortable with his touch. His hands were clenched and his jaw tightened. His pulse was throbbing in his forehead. He couldn't bear it. " Before you......" Hacker started. He brutally hit him on the face with his fist. It froze her feet. She glanced at him. Hacker's nose started to bleed. Concern and worry in her eyes made his face burn with rage. " Hecker..." She squeaked, " I came with my desire. He did not force me. Please, don't hurt him." She squatted down near him. Tears started to fall over her cheeks. It made it worse for him to toler
She was in a midnight blue gown with, lacy texture. Curls of her long strands were falling on her bare shoulders. She put on the blue lense, natural pink lipstick and high black pencil heels. She swivelled on her heels to see how the border hem of her dress could go around. Her broad smile was describing that she liked her dress. Liam was closely watching her. The Corners of his lips were lifted in a huge smile. He cleared his throat. It made her body jerk and a feeble squeak jumped from her pink lips. She lost her balance and was going to hit the ground. She was almost lost in ecstasy. She didn't know he was here and watching her. He was in a blue shirt the same as her gown's colour and black coat pants. &n
ARIANA She wasn't surprised when Kairo suddenly decided to leave Detroit. She was back in his mansion. She hissed in pain as she softly placed her finger on the bruise over her forehead. Her blonde hair was in unruly waves and cascading down her shoulders. Her phone began to ring. She swirled her head at the desk. Sauntering forward, she swiped it up in her hand with a smile, "Sal, I'm fine. I've told you many times." She muttered. "Yeah! Yeah! I trust you. Still, I wanna know. How are you now?" She wasn't regretting that she couldn't spend time with her brother as he was busy catching the trouble. She sat on the couch, staring down at the carpet, "I'm good." 'I haven't seen my husband after reaching home. He's not answering my calls. I don't know what to do.' The door opened softly. Her head jerked at it, her breath caught in her throat at the sight of him. She was looking at him without blinking, "I'll call you later,
KAIRO His cuffs were unfastened and his sleeves were rolled up. His hands were gloved. A knife was gleaming in his hand. The blade was covered with blood. The crimson was dripping on the floor. A low growl rumbled through his chest, his glare was fixed at him. There wasn't any part of his skin visible clean. He was covered in his own blood. His fingers were missing, several cuts on his palms and the back of his hands. "Leave something for us, Kairo." Danil's smirking tone reached his ears. He leaned against the opened door, looking down at struggling, groaning in pain Tony. Tony stared at them with hate in his eyes. The cloth in his mouth was muffling his screams. Kairo glowered and fisted in his face, "Lower your gaze, piece of ****!" He snarled, punching his hand one more time. He made another hit over the back of his hand, on the several cuts. Tony howled in pain. His face creased.
A shiver moved up her body when she found their guards' gazes on her. She managed a nervous smile and took the way to the kitchen. Her body tensed involuntarily when they started to walk behind her. She tried hard not to show fear. They just needed a little hint and it would reach Kairo. She could have lost her mother forever. Her heart was racing so hard and fast she was fearing it was enough for them to notice that something was off. The tension in the air was surrounding her or only she was feeling it. The maids looked up at her. She ignored them as her gaze fixed on the second door of the kitchen. She looked over her shoulder. They were busy inspecting the area. One of the maids stepped forward, her head bowed. The staff wasn't changed. She recognized her immediately. She could ask for their help but she didn't want to put their lives in danger. She could only hope that her husband would save her from her father's danger. But no one could save the
She had learned how to bury those feelings, she felt when she found herself alone in the room. She was frightened to imagine the stalker around her every time. The fear and anxiousness, she couldn't control. The heavyweight that she was feeling in his absence was making her suffocate. She blinked a few times, plucking her eyes away from the door. It opened softly. Her heart began to race in anticipation. A slow smile appeared on her face. "Ria," Her mother walked into the room. She didn't let her smile drop, "Mom," She hurried her feet at her mother, "Is dad treating you..." Marcella shook her head, "Did he hurt you?" She cupped the side of her face. A deep frown foamed over her face, "Why would he hurt me, Mom?" She shook her head in disapproval, "He's not father," She added, looking into her eyes. Marcella glanced at her, looking stunned, "He isn't cruel." "Why would he?" She relaxed that her mother wasn't g
Tension radiated from her. She didn't want to come and meet her family in such a condition when she knew there was a stalker out there who was too dangerous. Silence filled her thoughts when she looked at her husband. It wasn't any special occasion. Only Vincent and his trusted guards knew the reason for their arrival. Her father and mother and the entire outfit were unaware of it. She was planning to stay away from her father. They had busy days. It didn't count when she was in danger. Her father, Dominick, had thrown a party welcoming them. She ran her fingers over the diamond necklace around her neck. Her gaze halted on a simple thick bangle of silver. Kairo had asked her to not remove it. She wasn't interested in putting it on, but Kairo insisted on it. It looked like a classic piece, but she still found it boring. The silence could be felt around her. She was dreading it. She stared off toward the garden out of the window. She hadn't prai
KAIRO He wanted to be in the middle of the street, fighting, drawing blood from his enemies' bodies. He sharply breathed in, adjusting his tie. He ran his hand over his coat. His brother's gun was lying beneath it. The clicks of the heels drew his attention, decreasing his frustration. He moved his gaze on her body swiftly. She was wearing a grey dress, the dress was moulding with her body. She smiled at him when his gaze met her through the mirror. She couldn't hide her fear. "I'm ready," She breathed out and fidgeted on her feet. Buttoning his coat, he turned to her, "You don't need to be afraid when I'm with you," He said. After staring at him for a second, she nodded her head, "Um, I saw Travis out of our door." She said, nervously. A grin appeared on his face, his forehead creased as he walked over to the door and pulled open it. His brows furrowed further at the sight of Caspian, "You're late,
KAIRO The phone vibrated in his pocket. He took it out and smirked at the number. He hit on the accept and put the phone to his ear, "I wasn't thinking to reach this to your ears so soon," He said in a casual relaxed way. "I don't accept my men's betrayal." His voice was cold as usual on the speaker too. "You should know what's running under your nose," He clenched the phone in his hand in exasperation, recalling the scared face of his wife. "It's Dominick's family matter," "Now, it's out of control and affecting my family." His jaw tightened. "I've given words to Liam. I won't interfere between him and his prey." He clenched his hand, "Good for you," He hit on the end button. He cursed as he didn't ask him the reason for calling him. He didn't want to call him back. "You need to use your head, instead of anger." He spun, pocketing his phone. His brows creased as he looked at Danil, "What do you want,
She strolled out of the house. She was clutching her purse in hand. 'Olivia has shown trust in me. I can't let it break. I can handle kids. I have seen Rose and Isha. Rose is going to the hospital for the checkup. Olivia is staying with her and Isha doesn't want to miss any opportunity to be with her sister in her pregnancy.' Opening the back door, she sat in the car. She wasn't familiar with guards yet but she recognized Rachel immediately when opened the passenger side door and hopped in. Rachel gestured at the driver. Her smile was telling she was content with her life. The flash of time spent with Kairo made something warm and unusual grow within her. She watched the vast plain grassland enclosing the private road. She busied herself with her phone, strolling down her I*******m account. She didn't post her pictures, she used them to see the latest fashion. The car slowed down. She didn't look up from her phone. She froze when
She was staring at her reflection. Minutes passed. Her hair was wavy and resting on her bare shoulders. She applied red lipstick after doing the makeup. The door cracked open. She glanced over her shoulder, her heart immediately skipping a beat before taking on an erratic note. She watched him walk in. His look was different from his usual look. He was draped into a black t-shirt and black jeans. She couldn't force her gaze away from him. His expression never gave anything away. He wasn't in a foul mood, for sure. She spun on her pointed heels and smiled. The air around him was carrying power. The strength in his body was evident despite his dark clothing. Shoving his hand out of his pocket, he offered his hand. She liked it when he did so. Her smile broadened. She wanted him to return the smile, but she wasn't keeping expectations. He squeezed her hand when she slipped her hand in his. He made her walk out of the room. She wanted
