Chapter thirty-seven

Matthew managed to chuckle at Aria’s last word. He picked up his glass and took a sip from it.

“What good will it be if I support a loser?” Aria added.

She turned to the bartender, smiling softly.

“Vodka and Sprite, please.” She ordered.

It was brought to her at once, and Aria picked it up, her glass turning back to Matthew.

She kept on blabbing at his ears. Matthew only kept on listening. He didn’t bother to chase her off, seeing how determined she was.

“Why are you at the bar at this time?” Aria suddenly asked, moving closer to Matthew.

She raised a brow slightly.

“By chance are you fighting with my sister?” She asked and accompanied it with a light gasp.

She sighed

“I know my sister could be mischievous sometimes, but please don’t fight her.”

“Mischievous? What do you mean by that?” Matthew raised a brow, turning to her face.

He had paid no attention to her the whole time, but he was slightly curious about that.

“Did I say that out?”
