Chapter 84

His sudden intrusion seemed to startle the two. Sharon immediately looked up at him, and she panicked slightly the moment she saw Matthew.

How did he find her?

“You are really married?” Ryan looked shocked seeing Matthew claim her as his.

He had thought Sharon was always trying to push him from him; he couldn’t believe Sharon was really married.

“I’m Ryan. I’m—“

“If you would excuse us, we have other places to be.” Matthew ignored his words, and with that, he pulled Sharon away from his sight.

“Why are you talking to him?” Matthew raised his voice at Sharon the moment they were out of his sight.

“Am I expected to yell at him?” Sharon frowned.

“Even when he was clearly hitting on you?” Matthew's voice increased even more, and that seemed to annoyed Sharon a little.

“Then what am I expected to do huh?” She shrugged at his face.

“If you had seated on your seat, this wouldn’t have happened.”

Sharon scoffed the moment she heard that.

“Then what am I supposed to do when I’m

Chapter 85 Sharon looked at Ella, a little surprised at her words. She wondered how terrible it might be for her after getting home one day and finding out her new mother was her best friend. “See you later, young miss.” Ella simpered at her face, and with that, she dashed away from Sharon’s sight. Sharon was left alone again. She took a sip from the wine and relaxed her back. “You seemed bored. Need a company?” Sharon heard a familiar voice behind her again. Is this everyone's hideout? Why does she keep running into everyone here? She looked over at Ryan, who was a little far from her. She sided a little, and her gaze tore away from him. Sharon heard his light footsteps as he approached her. “I never thought you were really married.” He mumbled and took a seat next to Sharon. “I told you, but you failed to believe.” “That’s because you are too pretty and young. I never thought you would fancy getting married early because pretty girls don’t do that. They always wanted to ex

Chapter 86 Sharon took the stairs, and she clenched her fist angrily. The moment she reached the suites, she saw different doors and couldn’t guess which one Aria and Matthew were in. She ran her fingers into her hair in frustration. There were so many doors with different numbers, and she couldn’t tell the one Aria had dragged Matthew into. But she didn’t care if she had to bang all the doors open until she found her husband. But just when Sharon wanted to get started, Sharon suddenly heard Ella trying to catch her breath behind her. “It’s the door 103. I forgot to tell you that.” She looked short of breath. “How on earth did you manage to reach here without a single drop of sweat?” Ella grunted. Even Sharon couldn’t understand how she did it. She just did. She was so angry thinking about Aria and didn’t realise it when she climbed up the long stairs without the elevator. “You should have taken the elevator,” Sharon mumbled, and her stern gaze fell back on the door. “It’

Chapter 87 The drive back to the house was quiet. Sharon was left speechless at his last word. He got drunk because of her? Because they had a fight? “Welcome home, Miss.” Tara welcomed Sharon as she stepped out of the car. She took the purse from her, and they walked into the house. “Did it go well?” Tara asked her. “Yes.” Sharon hummed. She got into her room and slumped into her bed. Tara helped her take off her shoes and arrange them in the appropriate place. “You should take your clothes off and sleep properly at least.” She complained, seeing that Sharon wouldn't move an inch from where she was. Sharon ignored her. After nagging her for some minutes, Sharon sighed. She got on her feet, and she walked to her closet, where she took off her clothes and makeup. When she was done, she walked back to her bed and fell back on it. Sharon's phone suddenly buzzed. She glanced at the phone screen when she noticed that it was a call from Ryan. • The Mafia Proposal   Chapter 88- First day in college.

Chapter 88 Sharon sat in front of the mirror. She packed her long hair into a ponytail. It was the resumption day at Wellington College, and it would be her first day in college. A soft smile escaped from the corner of her lips as she stared at her reflection. Her black hair was shimmering under the light, casting a magnificent glow of excitement and anticipation. She inhaled sharply. A knock suddenly came on her door, interrupting her thought. Sharon looked at the door, and the next minute the door was opened, and Tara strode in. She watched the lady who looked more excited than her rush in. Of course, it was her mistress's first day at school, and Tara was more excited than any other person. “You aren’t done dressing up?” She moved closer to Sharon, who was still sitting in front of the big mirror. “Almost,” Sharon told her, and she applied a little lipgloss to her lips. She got up from the seat and grabbed her bag. “How will your first day in school be?” Tara gigg

Chapter 89 Sharon turned in the direction where the voice came from, and she saw Aria alighted from a car. Aria moved closer to her at a fast pace. “What are you doing here? Did you follow me here again?” She scoffed at Sharon's face. “Follow? I think you did that, not the other way around." Sharon rolled her eyes. Aria must have learned from Andrew when she applied for Wellington College and that she was when she did the same. Sharon wasn’t so shocked to see Aria’s sudden change of expression. No doubt, her assumptions were right. Sharon hissed, and she immediately left her sight. She walked down the corridor, checking the map in her hands, trying to find her way to her class. “Could I have gotten the wrong map?” She thought. Strangely, she couldn’t find her way to her class no matter how she kept glancing at the map in her hands. Her attention was on the map, and she didn’t realize the person standing in front of her. “Need help?” A voice hollered over her. Sharon

Chapter 90 The history teacher came in after some minutes, and the class began. When the class was still going on, it was suddenly interrupted by the door that sprang open. Sharon looked at the door and watched Aria barge into the class with a few other students behind her. Sharon had thought they weren’t in the same class since Aria wasn’t present till almost the end of the lecture. But no doubt they were. She must have been busy snapping around her new school trying to find the perfect picture for her internet page. When history class was over, more lecturers came in and took them to more subjects. After some moment, it was finally lunchtime. Sharon twirled the pen in her hand casually before jolting down everything into her mind. Ella was sitting beside her, packing her bag. The moment she was done with that, she glanced over at Sharon, who didn’t look to be preparing to leave the class for the school cafeteria. She leaned towards her and asked “Aren’t you starving?

Chapter 91 “Rose is in the senior class,” Ella told Sharon as they walked down the school hallway. Sharon’s brows snapped together. She knew she was there, and yet she decided to attend the same college? “Actually, my dad insisted on this school. I was against it, but I was left with no choice after he threatened me with my allowance.” She shrugged. “And when I found out this place had the best food, I was so eager to come.” Ella giggled at the last part. “How did you meet her? I mean Rose.” Sharon asked her. “We had been friends since high school, but I never knew the witch had eyes for my father. I just wish to snap her crazy neck.” Ella said and clenched her fist tightly. When school was over, Sharon and Elle walked to the school parking lot. They suddenly ran into Aria, who was alone. She wasn’t with any of her set of friends this time. As She approached them Sharon could see that Aria’s stern gaze was fixed perfectly on Elle. Seeing the look on her face, she could

Ryan’s presence didn't even make her flinch, except she had to raise a closure, especially after what had transpired between them. She had hoped to avoid him for a while, at least until things settled. She felt Ella, her friend sitting beside her, shoot her a glance but said nothing. After an excruciating hour, the bell rang

It was both comforting and unsettling at the same time.He took a deep breath, pushing aside his emotions for the moment. He could already feel the weight of his decision pressing on his chest. "I’ll be leaving soon," he said quietly, standing up from the chair beside her bed. "But before I go…"He pulled a cheque from his jacket pocket, the crisp paper a stark reminder of the distance between them, both literal and emotional. The pain from Sophie’s blow had only worsened, and she could feel a warmth trickling down her body, blood. Panic set in, but she fought it down, focusing on Ella’s words, trying to stay conscious. The hospital loomed ahead, and Ella barely slowed as she pulled into the parking lot. She rushed out of the car, barely waiting for the nurse to help them before she was ushered into the

She’d set everything up the night before, knowing that the humiliation of Sharon was only a matter of time. She had made sure the photoshopped images of Sharon would circulate, ensuring that her reputation would take a hit. The plan was perfect, or so she thought. Everything would be done once she got to find a dramatic scene. She had anticipated a dramatic confrontation, the kind of scene where Sharon would be caught off guard and fall into the trap. Instead, what greeted her was far from what she imagined. As she stepped into the office, she found Sharon laughing, a wide, genuine smile stretched across her face as she engaged with her project partners. Chapter 135Aria's grip tightened on the steering wheel as she glanced in the rearview mirror. Matthew’s car was still there, trailing her down the road like a persistent shadow. The thought of him following her made her blood boil, but she didn’t let it show. She wasn’t about to let him get the best of her, not now, not when she had more important things to take care of.Without hesitating, she veered her car off the main road and onto a side street, taking a sharp turn that led her to a nearby church. It was quiet there, peaceful even, and most importantly, away from Matthew's prying eyes. If he wanted to follow her, let him. She wasn’t going to let him ruin her plans. The old stone church loomed ahead as she parked, locking her car behind her as she stepped out. She made sure to keep her pace slow, not wanting to give away the fact that she was intentionally trying to lose him. She hadn’t dropped off the project file on her colleague’s desk yet.“Wait,” Sharon called out, stopping Tilly before she could leave. Tilly turned back, waiting for Sharon to speak. “The file,” Sharon said, her voice calm but with a hint of urgency. “You didn’t leave it on my desk.”Tilly hesitated for a moment, then replied, “I haven’t finished it yet, Sharon.
