The day Annah was to introduce her family to Connor finally arrived and to say that she was feeling anxious would be an understatement, she was nervous. She didn't know how it was going to go because she had never done something like this before and to think that her uncle was ready to kill Connor on the spot was another thing entirely.

Earlier, she had called her uncle Matt and his wife and had talked to them about coming and the first thing Matt had done as soon as he heard her voice was shout. From his voice alone, Annah could tell that he had missed her terribly and had been increasingly worried when he didn't hear from her after such a long time and hearing her voice now made him happy, sad and angry all at the same time and she completely understood him.
