Alicia’s POV

The restaurant’s ambience blew me away and I could understand why Acker would have come here many times.

“Monsieur, what a pleasure to have you here tonight again,” a grey haired man with a full beard and wearing a chef’s uniform came to our table as servers dropped plates of mouth watering dishes on the table. I assumed he was the chef or the manager of the restaurant and greeted him with a faint smile and nod.

Acker took the lead, “Merci.” And then he said something in French which the chef responded to likewise in French. The man then bowed, about to turn and leave but then he paused.

“The meal tonight will be on the house, sir?” It sounded more like a question and I noticed Acker’s slight frown at it.

“No need, Raoul. Next time, perhaps,” Acker’s tone sounded serious for a second I wondered why, but the moment passed quickly and the chef left with another bow and a low murmur of ‘Bon appétit’.

Alicia’s POVBefore I knew it, the week was over, and I had to leave for home.Acker stayed with me through to the end, walking me to the private jet as his men placed my luggage full of souvenirs and clothes (a LOT more than I’d started off with) in the cabin.“When will you be coming to the States again?” I asked him.“Soon,” he assured me and leaned in, capturing my lips in a kiss. I accepted it, melting in his arms around my waist. It took me a couple of seconds after we sorted for me to realize that his men were done and waiting for him, watching us.I reached my hand up to tug at my hair, trying to appear unaffected by it all.A part of me wished I could blurt out something to stay for another week, or even to convince him that I could move out here to him. I wanted to say that nothing felt like home more than his arms, or having Mjkael tease me to make me flustered, or the two week a vacation I never expected that turned out to be the best idea ever.In the end I didn’t say anyt

Alicia’s POV“Alicia!”Daya’s full bodied hug surprised me and i returned it a little, before letting go. She was beaming and I nearly thought she appeared to not be the Daya that I knew.I smiled at her a little, injecting warmth into my tone as I asked, “How are you? You look good!”And, yes, she really did.She had a tan on her that glowed, and was decked from top to bottom in glittering jewels, a sparkling headband, gold earrings and necklace, and a white fur coat that looked expensive based on the feel.It would have looked gaudy on anyone else but somehow it just fit her, and I knew“I’m doing great,” she enthused as we sat down, across from each other with the round table between us.The restaurant ambience was wonderful for a late brunch, and I noticed the patrons were few and far between, upon gazing about a little while a waiter walked up to us.“What will you have?” The waiter asked with a smile on his face.“I’ll have a martini and some steak with a salad,” Daya ordered fir

Acker’s POVMy phone ringing brought me out of the daze of sleep that I was already in.“What the fuck is it?” I let the curse word roll off my tongue as I was just barely awake. Whatever it was there had to be a damn good reason for this to happen.“Madden. Trouble.” It was Mikael, and I was instantly alert at the anger in his voice. It was unusual even for the Serrano who was normally boisterous by nature but ultimately kept his cool unless pressed.“This had better be fucking important, Serrano,” I replied in a gravelly voice, rising from the bed. The next words he spat out made me understand why exactly he had called in the first place.“Cross has taken her.”“What? I don’t think I heard correctly, Mikael,” I said, disbelief, frustration, FURY, filling my body that every te of sleep fled.“He took Alicia. Right from under our fucking noses, the bastard!” I heard something smash in the background and I didn’t question it. “When I see that bastard I will kill him. I will WATCH THE L

As soon as I did I let out a cry, pulling my arm back to hold at my chest.“Oh look, she’s awake,” i heard someone say. That wasn’t my concern right that moment as the memories of the last time I was awake flooded my mind so quickly.Daya! And cross! My alarm rose and instantly I was alert and stood up, or rather, tried to stand, for my legs still felt like jelly and I sat right back down, panting heavily. The drug was probably just wearing off.Where was I?I raised my gaze then, to meet the eyes of the person that was next to me and saw the unfazed, annoyed face of a man.“Well, you’re being quite the problem, aren’t you?” I heard the man say. “Se non fosse stato per il fatto che il Don ti voleva vivo, non ti avrei accolto.”It took some time for my mind to process that, all due to the still sluggish effects of the drug on my mind.“Dove sono? Cosa sta succedendo?” I asked the man who looked surprised to hear m

  • The Mafia Kings Want their Woman Back   Passing Blame

Mikael’s POVThe tension in the room was so thick it could be cut with a knife, as the saying goes.Senator Duncan looked like a shell of himself, withdrawn and not at all like the confident man he proclaimed himself to be numerous times. As he sat across from myself and Acker, I could see the Senator shift from foot to foot.“I want my daughter back,” he said, his voice like steel, however still I could hear the undertones of terror in it. He was afraid, that much was clear. The problem was, at this very point, so was I.Cross was capable of anything and everything. It had already been two days since Alicia was abducted. There had been no word of her or from him. Not even a taunting show of victory to make me seethe. The silence was unbearable.I missed her.“I want to know if you can get her back. The situation is precarious as it is,” Senator Duncan continued, his words grating on my already worn nerves more and more as he droned on.“We will make sure she returns, Senator, there

  • The Mafia Kings Want their Woman Back   Taunting

Alicia’s POVThe deep bass in the underground club hits my ears harshly while I move around, working. Among the strobe lights were tons of bare skin, especially among the other girls working. I was thankful that I stuck to the outfit I chose; a black T-shirt and matching denim shorts. When I arrived I was offered the sparkly bikini outfit the other girls wore. The sight of it alone made me feel uncomfortable and I declined it several times over before I was finally allowed to wear my comfortable clothes. On the other hand, for my refusal I had to deal with the standoffish attitude of the bartender, Carla. From the moment I began working she looked over me with a scowl. “Hey! Bring more bottles from the store room. We still have other customers to serve.” She called out to me, glaring my way with scowl clearly shown. I had to grit my teeth to bear it.Shortly after she turned away to the nearest customer with a pleasant smile. It was obvious she was out of me. Several hours had pass

Alicia’s POVI silently braced myself for what was going to happen next. I knew why Cross wanted to see me, and it was no doubt because of the incident with Daya.He would be angry with how I treated Daya. If lost control and even though putting her down after her taunts was satisfying I now had to face the consequences.Clenching my jaw I knocked on the door before opening at the faint sound. There was Cross and as I expected, Daya. Her face was still wet, mascara running her face with an innocent expression.“Look what she did to me baby. I was just ordering a drink and she attacked me and threw it in my face.” She cried out, holding onto his arms.It was an obvious lie, but none of that mattered did it? I watched Cross peel her arms off him. “Stop crying,” he said, sounding annoyed to my surprise. Suddenly he took out a black card and placed it in her hands, halting her sniffles.“Take it, clean up and buy yourself something nice. I'll deal with this.” He said. Her cries instantly

Alicia’s POVIt was like getting doused with icy cold water. My gut clenched for a completely different reason.Pregnant?“No.” I denied, “I'm not pregnant. It's just a bug or something.”It could be stress. I was kidnapped a mere days ago and found out about Acker and Mikael. Of course I wasn't able to keep anything down. That was all there was to it. There was no way I could be pregnant.Andy shook her head, “I could tell that something was off about you. Even before, but I couldn't put my mind to it. I know the signs Alicia. I worked as a health assistant in a gynecologist's office before my father sold me to Cross to pay off his debts.”I was stricken from her words, but there wasn't any time to think as she stood up.“Wait here.” She patted my shoulder before turning away. I watched her pull out a bag from her bed and rummage through it before returning while gripping an object.“Here, you can check it yourself.” She passed the object to me. Mikael’s POVShe was being way too quiet.I eyed Alicia out of the corner of my eyes, gazing worriedly at her as she sipped at her coffee. She had returned a little earlier in the morning the previous day, I recalled. And she was more somber than her usual self.Where had she gone? The question was pushed to the back of my mind as Dante began to cough, likely as a result of some water going down the wrong pipe. I reached for a napkin and made to stand up from my chair, but Alicia was blessedly faster, and she grasped our son’s chin gently while patting his back.“There there,” she murmured softly. I relaxed at the warmth in her voice. She was fine. Perhaps she just needed some space like Madden liked to insist on.Leaning back into the chair I observed her, my mind full of thoughts of her. She had been acting this way ever since Madden and I had fucked her. Was that the reason why?Regardless, there was nothing I could do by wondering. My phone vibrated in my trouser pocket and I glan

  • The Mafia Kings Want their Woman Back   Nighttime Emergency

Alicia’s POVMy dream was of a house in the countryside, somewhere where the sun was nice and warm yet not too hot. I played in the meadow with my two sons, like I was in a fairytale. Suddenly dark clouds filled the sky and my vision went static. Rain began to fall.~Buzz~~Buzz~I winced, shaking my head and only a little aware of the dream fading from my mind.My eyes were unbelievably bleary and my limbs heavier than I’d expect after a good night's sleep.Opening my eyes after another second, I saw darkness only broken by the little light from my phone.Someone was calling. With a soft grunt I reached for the phone which continued to vibrate as it rang.‘Safehouse,’ the caller ID said.Noticing the time to be only 12.13am, I inhaled sharply. This had to be important.Immediately the sleep cleared from my eyes and I answered the call.“What is it?” I demanded to know.“Good you’re up,” it was Matt’s friend breathing heavily over the phone. He didn't sound too happy.“I was asleep,”

  • The Mafia Kings Want their Woman Back   Break Even

Alicia’s POV “Holy shiiiiit,” I hissed with pleasure, my eyes rolled back. My legs parted wider as Mik’s slick, thick manhood thrust in and out of me in a beautiful deep rhythm. It HAD been a long time; no one could blame me. I lost myself in another series of moans, feeling hands all over my body. “Be careful,” Acker warned, and I wasn’t sure who he was warning in my sex-addled brain until I realized Mik was chuckling as he moved his hips to mine. “You don’t want me to break her in for you, Madden? Don’t worry, I’m sure she’ll be the same by the time you’re up.” I heard something that sounded like a curse come from Acker but I didn’t care. Despite both men bickering, they were incredibly focused on one thing and one thing only: me. I had long lost track of where I was. We had moved from room to room like horny teenagers and now, I was in a chair, or a desk, or wherever. All I knew was that my hands and hair were held back by Acker as I took Mik’s cock like a good girl. Hands

  • The Mafia Kings Want their Woman Back   Provocation

Alicia’s POV “She is right here.” I replied loudly to the man that was speaking to someone whom I neither knew nor cared to know, making my presence known at the party entrance. As if by a spell all eyes turned to me, and I took advantage of the spotlight. I knew exactly how I looked. I had taken my time all weekend to clean up my looks to make sure I wouldn’t appear too shabby as Ash’s and Dante’s mother. I was practically the most desired woman to be in terms of position, having the children of two of the most powerful Dons in the world. And I was going to enjoy it. The spotlight wasn’t usually what I searched for but I reveled in it now, a dark glee in my heart as Mikael and Acker’s eyes were like flames burning my skin. The glittering red gown I had chosen was fired to my body, held up only by spaghetti straps with pearls as an accent. My hair was up in a stylish updo and showed off my neck and décolletage, which spotted a lovely necklace I picked for myself with care. In al

  • The Mafia Kings Want their Woman Back   Party Shenanigans

Acker’s POV“Make sure it is done. No excuses this time. And use another supplier if this one doesn’t make things according to our requirements,” I cut off one of my executives before he could go on another rant during our call. I was already fed up and late for a very important engagement - picking up my sons from the house to attend their birthday party.Unbuttoning my shirt with one hand while I walked into my home office to grab the box I had left there wrapped and ready for tonight, I noticed Javier was seated on the armchair close to my desk, and giving me a serious look.I ended the call and sighed heavily. I hated handling business sometimes. It was easy work in theory but human beings and bureaucracy could make every little thing difficult.“You clearly haven’t gone for a shower yet,” Javier helpfully pointed out, tutting in a manner that was exasperated. “You still have paint on your face.”My jaw ticked.“I’m well aware of that, Javier. Thanks for pointing out the obvious.”

  • The Mafia Kings Want their Woman Back   Changed Tactics

Alicia’s POVThe party hadn’t occurred yet and it already gave me a headache. My scowl prominent, I listened to the chef and event planner - Duran, what an odd surname, I thought absently - as they discussed the event.“Whatever you have to decide, so it with their fathers," I stated when I could get a word in. I wanted nothing to do with this or them or this farce of a damn party that was forced on me.The pair glanced at each other wide-eyed and I didn’t wait for a response, instead storming off to my room for some much needed alone time. Slamming the door shut down othbeicj force that the walls shook, I let out an agonized yell.“I hate them both,” I hissed through my teeth. Why did it feel like the entire world was against me? I sat in the edge of the bed recalling Andy’s discussion with me earlier.2 hours ago:I was furious, seeing red. Hardly able to contain myself.“Alis, wait,” Andy called, her footsteps fast paced. I whirled about to face her.“You TOLD them about the boys’

Mikael’s POVMy hands clenched and unclenched, while my mind struggled to make sense of the report that the police commissioner gave me mere seconds ago. My blood was effectively boiling. How could this have happened right under our noses? For the girl, the only connection we had at this crucial time to my bastard half-brother, to escape like that… I couldn’t fatho it for the life of me.Madden turned to Alicia, his signature cool and collected veneer on full display as he replied, “This is not the time to discuss such things. You should focus on your breakfast love.”Endearment aside I thought he had the right idea. We shouldn’t talk about this when the children were around, no matter how urgent it seemed to be.“And the party,” Ashford piped up in the wake of Madden’s words which made his mother whip her head around to stare at him unblinkingly“What party exactly?” Alicia sounded confused, tired and— was that relief I heard in her voice?“Our birthday party!” Dante too the opportun

  • The Mafia Kings Want their Woman Back   News Breaks

Alicia’s POV Two days later: Tonight was the night. 10:47 pm. My room was dark but I could still spot the letters on the alarm clock, glowing distinctly. I sat up on the bed, checking my phone every couple of seconds as though that would make a difference. I had to be patient. Because tonight, Daya would escape police custody. Matt had been of more help than I had previously anticipated and he had sent one of his ‘good friends’ skilled at evading law enforcement to pick Daya up. While I wished I could be there myself to see it going on, I knew it would be next to impossible. Mikael, for one, would notice that I had left the house. The sound of footsteps drawing close to my door alerted me. Damn it. I was supposed to be asleep! Feigning a stomach ache in order to leave the dinner table early had its drawbacks. Swiftly I pulled the covers up, hiding my phone underneath the blanket and laid down, turning my head to the side and closing my eyes. The door opened, and multiple foots

Mikael’s POV “Whatever, it’s none of my business,” she had said. Yet even as she said that she appeared the opposite. Her posture was rigid, her lips drawn into a scowl that looked more appealing than it did intimidating. Honestly I’d never met a woman so stubborn in my life and perhaps that’s why I fell in love with her. Against my better judgement, of fucking course. I had no issues playing this game of hers. “Alright,” I responded lightly. “Just making it known. You should have your breakfast.” “I think I’ve lost my appetite,” Alicia’s words were just as cutting as I expected, and she huffed, her shoulders shrugging as she turned around to walk out of the living room. In a dizzying instant I saw her stumble, and I reached to grasp her by the waist and pulled her closer as her knees buckled under her. “Ugh,” she groaned, shutting her eyes tightly. “I really need to get some more sleep.” She hadn’t slept? That explained the worrying eye-bags under her eyes, and how pale she l
