"SHE WHAT!?" Nicholas just heard the news and was furious.
"S-Sir, she left the hospital. I'm sure we can find her."
"That damn girl and her father will always cause trouble for me! Send everyone out to find her this instant!"
"Y-Yes, sir!" The bodyguards quickly left the hospital to begin their search under William's orders. William looked in the room Nicolette was supposed to be kept in.
"I didn't think she would defy me like this, mark my words, Nicolette. I'll make your life a living hell once I find you."
"Where are we?" Atlas stood up, seeing the miles of vegetation.
"Daddy there," Nicolette pointed to a small empty cottage deeper in the woods. Cautiously Atlas approached the cottage with his daughter.
"It doesn't look like anyone's been here" letting go of her father's hand, Nicolette opened the door and started to cough as a large amount of dust came out.
"Nicolette, be careful. You don't know what's in there right now" after the dust storm cleared, Atlas stepped inside.
"Is something wrong, daddy?"
"No, no, nothing is wrong. It's just going to take a lot of cleaning; that's all, honey."
"Did I grant your wish wrong?" Atlas turned to look at her
"Not at all. You did the best you could. I'm just going to have to go out and find your siblings eventually."
"Pochemu my dolzhny iskat' moyego brata? Ya bi mog nayti moyu sestru, no etot pridurok bespolezniy I upryamiy kak baran" (Why should we look for my brother? I could find my sister, but that moron is useless and stubborn like a sheep) Atlas sighed
"Because he is your brother, and whether you like him or not, I'm not leaving him behind," Nicolette scoffed.
"Fine," she mumbles to herself, "we should leave him behind still."
"I need to find a store somewhere. Can you stay here till I come back?" Nicolette nodded and watched her father leave.
"I still vote on leaving my brother behind, useless bum."
"Sir, it seems they just vanished!"
"Who vanished!?"
"Nicolette and your son Atlas. The guards at the prison reported him missing after a little boy showed up."
"A little boy?"
"Yes, a Wolfier boy, they said"
"That damn family is always getting in my way, and now their son ruined my plans! Where is the boy now?"
"He got away when the alarm for escaped convict went off" William threw everything off his desk onto the floor.
"Get Thomas over here."
"Sir, you know his family doesn't like yours."
"Does it look like I care!? BRING HIM OVER HERE. HE'S LUCKY I CAN'T LAY A HAND ON HIS SON"
"Dad, I was just trying to help her!"
"Ein, it doesn't matter! We don't get involved with their family!"
"Thomas, take it easy on him. He's young and kindhearted. He was only trying to help someone who needed it" Tony rubbed her husband's shoulders, trying to calm him down.
"Nothing about that family scares me. They are just a pain in the ass to deal with, and my father isn't here to hand William's ass to him like he deserves."
"I can call your father if you would like?"
"Please do. I want him over here as soon as possible."
"Dad, I'm sorry," Tom sighed.
"It's fine. Just do not get involved with that family if you can help it."
"She was hurt badly. There were blood stains in a couple of places on her face, a-and she was wearing a bandana the entire time."
"What did the girl look like?" Ein blushed slightly
"Well, she was actually really pretty long black wavy hair, fair pale skin, and Korean facial features, I think."
"So you met his daughter."
"Whose daughter?"
"Atlas's"
"Well-" one of Tom's right-hand men barged into the room.
"Sir, we have a problem."
"What is it now?"
"William wants to see you" Tom let out a groan of annoyance.
"I cannot wait till we go back to Italy so I don't have to deal with that bastard look, Ein, don't go anywhere for a while and stay within the base till I get back, understood?"
"Yes, father"
"Niko, watch your brother" Tom left to speak to William.
"Looks like it's just you and me, you little baby."
"Shut up, Niko" Ein didn't want to deal with his brother.
"Ooo, big words coming from such a tiny little baby," Niko pinched his cheeks.
"Ugh, if i'm a baby your just an oversized prick!" He shoved his hands away.
"What, you think you're gonna be some big shot?"
"One day, I'm gonna take over, and you're gonna be under my orders!" Niko started to laugh hysterically
"Oh my god, this is the best thing I've ever heard! You! my little brother, who's weak and pathetic, thinks he's going to take over. I cannot wait to see what Richard thinks."
"Richard will support me, and he'll beat you up!"
"Listen, Richard may be the eldest, but I'm only a few minutes younger. So I'm not afraid of him."
"You seemed afraid of him when he kicked your ass last week."
"Shut up!"
"Nicolette, we're home!" Zayne entered the little cottage first, followed by Atlas and little Alice.
"Please tell me we're not actually going to live in this cobwebbed-filled place."
"Don't worry, Zayne. I'll be getting the place cleaned up" Zayne spotted Nicolette and approached her.
"So, were you hoping I was dead big sis?"
"For the most part," Zayne smiled proudly, hands on his hips.
"Nothing can kill me, and dad wouldn't let that happen since I'm his favorite child."
"What!? How could you possibly be the favorite? I'm dad's little girl! The firstborn!"
"Just because you're the firstborn doesn't mean you're the favorite. Dad and I bond in ways you never could," Nicolette puffed her cheeks.
"Aww, you look like a cute fat-cheeked hamster."
"Screw you!" Nicolette marched into one of the rooms.
"Heh, she's just mad I'm the favorite."
"Zayne, try to get along with your sister. She's been through a lot."
"Of course, father, I could never imagine fighting with my dear older sister!"
"You're a load of bullshit, Zayne!"
"Says you!"
"I hope your dick stays the size of an acorn!" Zayne gasped
"HOW DARE YOU!? My dick will never be the size of an acorn, and just because you said that I'm going to sleep with your future best friend to prove it!"
"Yeah, and then she'll come and tell me just how awful it was to fake moan for your tiny baby dick" Zayne was visibly furious but had zero comebacks.
"Dad!"
"Yeah, call for dad Zayne!"
"Nicolette Zayne, behave."
"You wanted to see me? You know I want nothing to do with a scumbag like you, William."
"Oh, Thomas, we both know I'm not a scumbag; I just have ambitions." William took a seat at his desk.
"I found out that you had your granddaughter's eyes removed just the other day."
"And so what if I did?"
"She's your granddaughter!" Tom was starting to get angry knowing that William had zero remorse for his actions.
"Everything happens for a reason, Thomas, just like if anything were to happen to your wife, it would be for a reason."
"Don't you dare think of laying a hand on my wife"
"You know what's odd about you, Thomas? You're a lot like your father. That man only had eyes for his wife before she was ripped away from him."
"What are you implying?"
"Just don't get in my way, and don't stand up to me. The consequences will be too much to bear."
"I'm not giving you anything you want, William."
"See, I only want one thing."
"Which is?"
"Your son Ein" Tom's hands curled into fists.
"Absolutely not! What makes you think I would hand one of my children over to you!?"
"Your son ruined my plans. I just wanted to teach him a lesson."
"You're not going near him. It's not his or my fault that your plans involve shitty routes and abuse."
"Ouch, I'm hurt, Tommy." William mocked
"Don't call me that"
"Your boy and my granddaughter meeting was by chance, but I have a feeling it won't be the last time they get involved with each other, and when they do, I can put my plan back into motion."
"What exactly are your plans, William."
"My granddaughter has the ability to grant wishes that don't involve herself. They have zero limits, and the older she gets, the more she learns, the more she unlocks, and under my control, I'll be able to wish for this city the whole world to be under my control! For everyone to kneel before me."
"Your delusional if you think that's going to happen."
"Oh, I don't think I know" Tom rolled his eyes.
"Your plan is gonna backfire, and I'm gonna be there to tell you that I told you so."
"You just don't get the potential with these children, Tommy."
"Again, don't fucking call me that"
"A child that grants you any wish and a young boy who'll run the largest mafia known to our world. Both of those children hold the world in their hands."
"That doesn't mean you get to abuse the power they hold."
"It's just giving back to the family."
"We're done here, William, and don't come near my wife or my children."
"Thomas"
"What?"
"Tell your father I said hi he's locked himself away for so long. I miss his company."
"Tell him yourself" Tom left the building in a terrible mood.
"That boy doesn't see the potential at all. That's what family and love does to you. It ruins you" Tom took out his phone and dialed Tony's phone number.
"Hello? Tony speaking!"
"Hey, hun, I think we might have to move."
"Move? But why? The children are really happy here."
"I know, but there are things in this city that I don't want them dealing with, and I think it's best if we move closer to my dad."
"It's gonna be hard convincing the children that moving is better for them, especially Niko."
"We'll do that part together."
"Tommy... are you sure everything's alright? You don't sound ok."
"Don't worry about it, hun. You focus on yourself and the kids right now. I'll be home soon."
"Ok, I love you."
"I love you as well... Samantha."
"THOMAS ANDREW WOLFIER" Tom quickly hung up the phone with a grin.
"She always did hate me calling her that" Tom dialed his older brother's number waiting for him to pick up.
"Thomas, this better be important. I'm in the middle of working on some chemical reactions."
"Listen, you science nerd... William is threatening my family, and I don't like the aura he's giving off."
"That man has always been insane. So it's not a shocker that dad cut him off."
"Yeah, well, besides that, we'll be moving back into town soon."
"That bad, huh? Well, I'm sure dad would love to see his grandkids again, even if one of them isn't biologically yours."
"Darren, the next time you bring up my wife's one-night stand, I'm going to knock out all your teeth. I don't care that Sammy isn't mine biologically; I'm raising her that makes her mine."
"Fine, up to you, but do me a favor and don't drag your problems into my life."
"Yeah, well, I'm going to. With how William is acting, I could use all the allies and protection I can get"
"Just because I know how to use chemicals and shit to make deadly potions and whatnot doesn't mean I'm just going to lend them to you."
"Even If you can't lend them to me, at least protect my family if things take a bad turn."
"Fine"
"By the way, have you heard from Lori?"
"Nope, not since she started dating that Nicholas guy. Why?"
"I'd like to get her involved in this as well cause if I don't tell her, she'll think I betrayed her."
"Yeah, that does sound like Lori. If I see or hear from her again, which most likely I won't, I'll tell her what's going on."
"Alright, and make sure dad is aware as well. Being a retired mafia king, he's far more dangerous than me, especially since he still has his connections."
"True, alright, I'll let him know. Just try not to die before then, okay, Tom?"
"I'll try and thank you, Darren, for not hanging up on me this time."
"Uh-huh, I'm going to next time."
"I expect nothing less from you" Darren ended the phone call.
"I won't let my family fall into the hands of that madman, especially my son."
"I don't think I'm gonna like Italy dad," Tom patted Ein's shoulder."You'll like it, Ein. Trust me; there are a lot of things to do here. You'll never be bored.""I think Niko already found a new hobby. He threw a rock at a fish.""Your brother is adopted.""Oh, that explains a lot.""SCREW YOU OLD MAN, I AM NOT ADOPTED, AND YOU KNOW IT" Niko threw his last rock into the ocean. "Huh, that's odd. I seem to have the adoption papers in my office.""You wish I were adopted but jokes on you. I'm too perfect to be adopted!""Perfectly idiotic," Ein snickered to himself."I will hit you, Ein.""Boys!" The three of them stopped bickering, faced with Tony's wrath."We are in Italy now. Try to act like adults and not children. I do not want to make a bad impression in front of Ronan.""You mean your old man crush?" Ein called out his mom."What?" Tom was confused."Oh yeah, dad, you didn't know?" Ein had a cheeky grin "mom finds your dad hot.""Is that true?" Tom looked at his wife in disbelie
"Nicolette Lyiora has graduated at the top of her class and will be presenting the speech tonight when we hold our final ceremony!" The room was filled with applause as Nicolette sat in the back row unimpressed. She had been away from her father for eight years to be trained at this school. "Would Nicolette like to say anything?" Nicolette waved her hand, dismissing them. "No thanks, I don't do speeches" she was focused on the new mission that would be given to her tonight. She had been on many practice missions, but this was the first mission that would determine if she was cut out to be an assassin at all. But, of course, nobody knows what their first real mission will be. She listened to the rest of the plans for that evening, almost falling asleep out of boredom. "Nicolette" "Zach" "I was hoping I would find you asleep back here makes you an easy target for my daggers," Nicolette smiled. "You wish, Zach, but unfortunately, this wasn't boring enough." "You'd think them announ
Nicolette held onto the chaperone's arm, trying to distinguish the voices around her. "Excuse me," she turned her head toward the direction of the voice. "May I help you?" "I'm Ein Wolfier" this was the man she was looking for! "Oh! Then you must be the one I'm going to marry" Ein blushed slightly. "Uh y-yeah, I suppose so." "I hope me being blind doesn't bother you. After all, I suppose in your world; it would be a major flaw and lessen my beauty." "No, no, no! Not at all, you look perfect blind or not, and the bandana compliments your outfit," she laughed. "Relax, I'm not here to pull on your strings. I was just messing around," he sighed in relief. "My father said women can be scary if you anger them or upset them." "He's not wrong, but sometimes we like to joke around and get a reaction out of you," he nodded. "So I suppose my reaction is what you wanted?" "Oh, definitely," she smiled. "I know we don't know each other that well, but may I dance with you?"
Nicolette sat at the vanity as a stylist showed her the different hairstyles she could use."None of these match me. None of these are sophisticated enough. I don't even have to see them to know!""Madam, with all due respect, you have turned down all 147 hairstyles I've shown you.""Show me oriental," the stylist sighed, going through his bag and taking out another booklet."You call these oriental? Forget it. I'll have my brother style my hair. You are dismissed" the stylist rolled his eyes, leaving her dressing room. 'Perhaps I am being a little picky,' she thought. She allowed herself to be vulnerable to that man and decided to punish herself for it."Nicolette," Zayne opened the door walking in."Good, you're here.""The stylist was telling dad about how you're an ungrateful woman," she scoffed."I was going to apologize but not anymore. What's so bad about wanting my wedding day to be perfect? It may not be a real wedding since I'm only here for my mission, but I still want thin
Nobody could hear her screams, the cries of pain as the blade cut into her. She couldn't see anything, only feel the warm heat of her blood running down her face."Don't try to fight it. You'll only make it worse" the pain was overbearing, too much for the little girl to handle. She struggled against the straps that held her in place. She was running out of strength."P-please, grandpa, please have mercy on me," she begged, barely conscious. Her mind was fuzzy. She felt like she was spinning. The black sky started to swirl as she finally gave up her fight. She could faintly hear the voices around her."I don't need her or my son being a threat to me. It was hard enough to get her father convicted of murder. I don't need her finding out the truth.""And what if she finds out? What if making her blind doesn't stop her?""Then you'll make her mute.""William, she's just a little girl. Doing all this to her may be more than her body can handle and is unnecessary.""Shut up. I brought you
