Chapter Seventy Seven.

Vanessa’s pov.

When I got to the Dining Table everyone was already seated and I wondered why I was always delayed when it came to dinner. Was there this specific time I was not aware of?

I made my way and sat beside Rose and she gave me a full smile because she had food stuffed up inside her mouth.

We all ate our dinner peacefully, no talking or giving each other words. It was peaceful and honestly it might have felt awkward but it was peaceful to me.

After dinner, I told Rose I wanted to have a brief talk with her and she agreed to follow me.

So we made our way to the sitting area and we sat down on the couch together and I started filling her in on everything Elliot had been saying to me and she looked surprised.

“Why haven't you told Dominic?” She asked me

“Hmm at first, I didn’t know he was serious, until now” I said to her.

“But still you have to talk to Dominic about this” she says in a worried tone.

“What’s Dominic going to do anyways, not like he gives a damn about me!
