Born into a family of crime and scandals, Kendra Knight was the stunning strong-willed daughter of Johnathan Knight who was arranged to marry Elias Richardson, the eldest son of Tyrell Richardson. The Richardsons and the Knights, were two of London’s most powerful and wealthiest of families had been at war with each other for over a decade. It was only up until recently they both decided that the only way to end this dispute and secure their financial futures was by getting both of their eldest children married and putting aside their differences. Elias was the kind of guy who didn’t take life too seriously and lived by his own rules, whilst Kendra was the complete opposite. She liked to work hard and reach for the stars. There was only one thing she wanted and that was to become the heir to her father’s multi billionaire company, and she was going to do everything in her power to make sure she got that position, even if it meant agreeing to a fake marriage. A marriage that came with one rather strange condition. Every night they must come home to each other and share the same bed, no matter what happened or where they were. For how long would they both be able to resist and not give in to their sinful temptations? Would they find the missing piece of their lives in each other and fall in love, or will they free themselves from the other the moment their marriage contract ends and go their own separate ways?

It was after dinner, and I was heading upstairs to bed when I heard my father’s voice roar throughout the entire house loudly.
I walked towards his office and stood outside the door, thinking it wasn’t the first time I had heard him speaking this way to my brother Kaleb.
Kaleb was my younger twin and the heir of my father’s multi-billionaire drug business, but unlike me he didn’t care about money or reputation.
He loved partying and enjoying life to the fullest, which often got him into trouble, just like today.
“If I ever find you in a club again, watch what happens” I heard my father Jonathan shout as loud as he could, making my heart shudder.
“You can’t stop me from having fun, I don’t care about you or your stupid business” Kaleb said moments later, without any care in the world.
I heard some footsteps and before my father did something he would come to regret, I quickly barged into the office and looked at the gun he was holding in his hand.
“No papa you can’t do this” I said before I quickly stood in front of Kaleb, thinking I couldn’t lose him, he was all I had.
I love him dearly and there was nothing I wouldn’t do for him to keep him safe.
“Move out the way or I’ll shoot you to” father said emotionlessly.
Even though he was our biological father, I sometimes wondered if he actually was because of the way he treated us compared to his other kids.
“Then shoot me” I said, earning myself a look from Kaleb as he knew father might even do it.
He tried to pull me back, but I didn’t move, I wanted to protect him with all my heart.
“This tongue of yours will get you killed one day” Father warned me before he lowered his gun and glared at me and Kaleb both.
I walked over to him and looked up into his cold eyes that looked like they had seen more pain than love over the years.
“Until then I will do what I can to protect the ones I love” I said before I told Kaleb to leave as I wanted to talk to him alone.
I waited for the door to close after him before I looked up at father,
“You know he isn’t mentally well, yet you still treat him this way” I said before I ruffled my hair, thinking there was no such a thing as peace in this house.
Father sat back down on his chair and looked at me with a frown on his face,
“I don’t believe in any of that crap, he is fine, if he can party, he can run a business” he said coldly.
It wasn’t the first time I had heard him say that and knew it would most definitely not the last either as he always liked to drop it in every conversation.
“Well maybe you should, because a person could look fine from the outside, but be hurting from the inside” I replied quickly, my large brown eyes not leaving his.
I knew father hated it when I sided Kaleb, I could see it in his cold blue eyes.
“If you’re done defending him you may leave” he said before he pulled out a cigarette and lit it quickly.
Instead of leaving I walked over to him and looked down at him,
“Goodnight papa” I said before I wrapped both of my arms around him and hugged him tightly, hoping he didn’t push me away like he always did.
Just when I thought he wouldn’t, he did, and it hurt. I always tried my best to be there for him and Kaleb, but sometimes it felt like it just wasn’t enough.
I longed for the day he hugged me back and held me in his arms tightly, just like how he used to do when I was a little girl.
It was just a few minutes later when I made my way back upstairs. I walked towards Kaleb’s room and prayed he was inside, even though I had a feeling he had probably sneaked out once again.
I turned the knob and felt my stomach sink the moment I realised he wasn’t there.
“This guy will be the end of me” I thought to myself before I quickly hurried to my room and changed out of my clothes, thinking I’ll bring him home before father realises, he was even gone.
I walked to my closet and quickly picked out a nice short dress before I put it on and ruffled my glossy brown hair that reached my waist.
I touched up on my lipstick and looked at myself in the mirror, thinking tonight was not the night I wanted to go out as it was raining heavily, and I hated the cold weather of London.
Half an hour later and I had finally arrived at the club where Kaleb liked to hang out at often.
I was wearing a nice fuchsia pink coloured sequined dress that had thin straps and nicely clung to my body.
It was the perfect dress to fit in with the crowds and I just hoped no one tried making a move on me, because I was in no mood to entertain anyone.
I had no time for men or relationships and just preferred to fuck and leave, but not tonight, tonight I needed to get my brother home before father even realised, he was gone.
I stepped out of my expensive looking car and handed my key to the tall valet guy, not missing his wandering eyes as he checked me out shamelessly.
“I’ll call you when I’m ready to leave” I told him before I walked up to the fancy looking club, and showed my id to the two burly security guards that were standing at the entrance.
They allowed me in pretty quickly and I couldn’t be more glad as the rain was coming down fast and had almost soaked me through.
“Hey pretty lady, let’s dance” a young guy who looked in his early twenties said as loud upbeat music played in the background.
I didn’t spare him a second glance and kept walking towards the front, thinking Kaleb had to be here somewhere.
The crowds seemed much bigger than normal, and I wondered if someone famous was in town, as usually the club wasn’t that busy, on a weekday.
I found Kaleb sitting around a leather booth with a few of his friends who were all drinking, talking and simply enjoying each other’s company.
“And look who we have here” one of them said, bringing everyone’s attention to me, but Kaleb’s as he was too busy bopping his head to the music.
I looked past them and straight at Kaleb, thinking he wasn’t doing anything wrong, but father was right, he needed to get himself together, for his future.
“Kaleb, I need to talk you” I said as I stepped over a few of his friends and sat down next to him, hoping he didn’t get annoyed.
It took Kaleb a moment to realise that I was there,
“What are you doing here?” he asked with a small smile that told me he wasn’t annoyed to see me.
I took the glass of drink from his hand and quickly gulped it down, making a few of his friends whistle as it was clear they weren’t expecting me to do that.
“I came to save your ass, now let’s go before papa finds out we’re not home” I said as I felt the alcohol run down the inside of my throat.
Kaleb ordered some more drinks and looked at me with a small smile,
“I’m not going anywhere, not until my man Elias hit’s the stage” he said.
I moved all of my long hair over one shoulder and looked at him, wondering who the hell was Elias and why he wanted to see him so much.
“Elias?” I asked with one of my perfectly arched brows raised ever so slightly.
Kaleb passed him a glass of coke and looked at me amused,
“Yes, aka the best singer in town, he’s performing tonight” he said with the excitement clear in his voice.
I wondered what was so amazing about this Elias guy that my brother was willing to risk losing his life for, even though I had also taken an instant liking to his name as it sounded nice and catchy.
Only when the crowds got louder, I followed their voices and looked towards the stage and up at the man who everyone seemed to be waiting for so eagerly.
KENDRAA week had passed since Elias, and I had returned home from the Bahamas. It had been my favourite holiday to date, and I was glad that we both got to spend that time alone, away from our busy hectic lives. We watched the most beautiful of sunrises and sunsets there, made love every single day and left with an endless amount of memories that we would cherish forever. “Good morning sweetheart, how are you feeling today?” Elias asked the moment I stepped out of the bathroom and tied all of my long hair up in a sleek ponytail. “Not great, my whole body is hurting, and I just want to get back in bed” I said truthfully, before I neatened out the nice dress that I was wearing. Elias took hold of wrist and gently pulled me into his arms. “Then why don’t you do that, and I’ll go get both of us something to eat” he said before he kissed me on the forehead softly and caressed my face with both of his hands. “I would love to, but I have a meeting to attend. What time are you leaving
KENDRAMy fear of being in the water started back when I was around seven years old. It was a hot summers day and Kaleb, and I were both playing outside.Everything was going well, until Kaleb went inside to grab a few of his toys, leaving me alone with my stepmother Megan. Start Of FlashbackThe weather was warm, and I had finally convinced Kaleb to come outside and play with me in the back garden. “You can’t catch me” I said as I ran past him and almost knocked into Megan who was getting ready to lie down on one of the sunbeds. “Watch where you’re going” she said moodily before she lay down and opened a book to read. Kaleb had caught up with me pretty quickly and before I knew it, we both fell in the huge swimming pool, one after another, nicely splashing our new stepmother who didn’t look very pleased at all. “Got you” Kaleb said once our little heads finally popped out of the water. “You are so dead” I said to him as I gasped for breaths and watched him swim away as quickly
FOUR MONTHS LATERELIASIt had been over four months since I had last seen or spoken to anyone from my family, well everyone but my sister, who I saw on a regular basis. Kendra had permanently moved into my basement, and I couldn’t be more glad as it was the one place where I knew she would always be safe and protected. Even though her dad had offered to buy us both our first house, Kendra had said there was no need and that when the time was right, we would get one ourselves, but for now she was happy to live in my humble abode. It was now the beginning of April, and I had flown my beautiful queen out to the Bahamas to celebrate her 25th birthday in style. Kendra was almost six months pregnant now, and with each day that passed, I could tell that the pregnancy was definitely taking its toll on her, as not only was she running a whole entire company, but she was also carrying three children inside her, something I still couldn’t wrap my head around, even after all these months. I
KENDRAI stopped in front of Maya and watched her quietly as she wiped the blood away from her neck as quickly as she could. “Who was he and what did he do to you?” I asked softly, as I took a step closer to her, thinking was it possible that the guy had some sort of weird fetish that involved biting and drawing up blood. Maya didn’t look back at me but from her body language I could tell she was scared as she was shaking. “He’s just a friend and he didn’t do anything” she said before she sat down on the edge of her bed and held a few tissues over the bite mark, making it hard for me to see it properly. I sat down on the bed next to her and tried my best to remain as calm as possible as I didn’t want to push her away any more than I had already. “I know I haven’t been around much Maya but that doesn’t mean I don’t care about you” I said quietly, hoping no one disturbed us as I really wanted to talk to her alone. Maya shook her head lightly and rolled her eyes, just like I expecte
KENDRAHalf an hour had passed, and I didn’t realise when I had fallen asleep in the bathtub that was filled with warm water and lovely soap bubbles that reached my chest. Elias was sitting behind me and gently massaging both of my shoulders, making it even harder for me to keep my eyes open as I enjoyed the feel of his hands on my tired body. The warm water felt amazing against my skin and nicely soothed the hidden space between both of my thighs that was aching but in a good way. “We should get out…” I said quietly as I relaxed back against Elias’s bare chest and looked up into his mesmerising eyes that looked more blue then grey today. Elias kissed me on the side of my neck softly and continued massaging both of my arms from behind. “Not yet” he said before he gently pulled me back against himself and kissed me on the lips softly, making my stomach fill with butterflies, something that I thought only happened in books and movies. I loved the feel of his cock digging into my l
ELIASKendra was the most unpredictable person I knew, but that moment at the party when she trusted in me and didn’t sign her life away to my dumbass of a brother was the moment, I realised that she didn’t hate me as much as I thought she did and was mine forever. The best part of the entire evening was when she rushed over to me from behind and wrapped both of her arms around me tightly, after I had finished knocking out the guy who was told to put a gun to my head by no one but my own family. The little respect I had for Mikel and dad was all gone, because if there was one thing that I had learnt from tonight that was that they were both willing to do anything just for money and a bit of fame. It had been just over an hour since I had bought Kendra back to my tattoo place, as it was the safest place she could be tonight, and I didn’t want to risk anything by taking her somewhere else. I had never bought a woman here for the night before and it was the one place that not even my
KENDRAAfter father had announced me as the new CEO of his company, the last thing I expected to see was Elias’s dad and brother storm up onto the stage and throw another marriage contract in my face, taking everyone by surprise. “Sign it or he dies” Mikel said quietly but loud enough for everyone to hear. I frowned slightly and felt my heart drop the moment I realised he was talking about Elias who was sitting at one of the tables at the front, next to my assigned seat.Even though he had a gun pointed to his head he looked pretty calm and collected, unlike me who couldn’t believe what the hell I was hearing. Our eyes met and he gently shook his head, silently telling me to not sign the contract that was forced in my hand. I had never felt as worried and scared as I did in that moment as I looked down at the guy I loved. He meant too much to me to lose and even though I knew that one wrong move from my side could end everything we ever had together, I really didn’t want to sign
ELIASIt was just after six in the evening, and I was patiently waiting for Kendra to step out of the house, so we could both go to the party together, even though she had already told me that she was more than capable of making her own way there.I was glad she agreed to let me stay in her life, because in this moment of time, I needed her more then she needed me. I heard the light tick of her heels before I saw her and fuck, did she look amazing. She was wearing the most beautiful dress that I had ever seen and if I had thought she looked sexy on our wedding then I was very wrong because she looked a million times sexier tonight. The dress was stuck to her body and nicely showing off all of her curves, but the very first thing about her that had caught all of my attention was her tempting cleavage that made my cock twitch with every little step she took towards me. Not only did she looked unbelievably stunning, but she also smelt divine, and it took everything inside me to not pu
KENDRAI leaned back against my chair and turned all of my attention on Elias the moment Gabriel walked out of my office and left us both alone. “I only have five minutes so make it quick” I said with a small frown, thinking even after everything that had happened, he still had the power to make my core throb with one single glance. Elias sat down on edge of my desk, and I couldn’t help and stare at his bulging muscles that were very noticeable from the fitted casual top that he was wearing. “I gave you permission to talk not sit on my desk” I said as I stacked the few files that were in front of me and looked up into his sexy looking eyes. “I know” Elias said with a small smile on his face that vanished just as quick as it appeared. I put the timer on my phone for exactly five minutes and looked up at Elias, thinking he looked good and smelt amazing. “Start talking” I said before I crossed one of my legs over the other one and patiently waited for him to speak. Elias forced hi
