Chapter 0. Prologue

Chloe's POV

There are three mafias in front of me, and a total of six guards behind the door. The only way is that window but that's behind him, I am on the second floor, and I can jump from there it will be difficult. The window opens to his personal garden, there will not be any guards there.

I pulled out the small gun which I keep on my waist, I shot the man near the window. The other two are far from him.

I ran to the windows.

"Stop right there or you will be dead"

I heard him saying this and jumped out the window. As I fell my long white dress got stuck in bushes, so I ripped off the dress up to my thighs and ran from there. I know my way from here, he brought me here several times. I heard his brother firing a gun at me from behind, and calling out my name. I didn't look back.

I ran towards the entrance of the garden, which opens in a hallway. I opened the window, there were two guards there, they came toward me.

"Mam, are you fine?"

"Should I help you to get to your room?"

They didn't know it yet, but he will soon inform his men to capture me. As I thought, their phones started buzzing, it must be him. The guard pulled out his phone from his pocket, I immediately hit him with a punch, and his nose started bleeding. The other one came to me, I picked up the dagger of the guard who was now on the floor and stabbed in his shoulder three times. I pulled out the dagger from his shoulder and ran toward the main gate.

As I reach the entrance, his men surrounded the door. I heard his footsteps from behind.

"You are caught, how dare you come to my mansion? Do you think it will be easy to get on me?"

"If you think that I will be merciful to you, then you are a fool"

"There's no such thing in our world"

I don't know whether he will kill me or not but for sure my life will be a living hell if I got caught. His men are already at the door and he's behind me, there's no escape.

"I also know the rules and I don't bet to lose", I said as I planned my way out.

I ran to the kitchen, I saw a garbage chute there before it opens outside this house, I can escape from there. His men ran behind me, they were all around the house, I was stabbing whoever came in my way. I saw a reflection, there is someone on that side, I jumped on him and slit his neck with the dagger. But someone shot me, I turned my face and it was him.

He shot me, his eyes were bleak which means he was saying the truth, I am nothing to him. Luckily the bullet only pierced my right arm. He was alone, his men were not there.

I turned to run in the opposite direction, this time he hit on the floor near my feet, the bullet didn't hit me I moved my leg instantly.

"Stop right there or this time I won't miss"

He came near me, I don't want to do this but there's no other way out, I have to survive.

"I don't have a choice.", I pulled out the gun and aimed at him.

"Don't come", now we both were pointing our guns at each other.

"Shoot me, I dare you", he stepped forward with his gun at me.

If he doesn't care for his life, then it's his mistake. I too never said that I will be clement on my "ENEMY". I shot him in his heart, he fell to the ground with a thud.

"Someone is there, I heard something falling from there."

"Check there."

I heard footsteps rushing in my direction, I ran from there. I didn't turn then, just heard his brother calling him.

"Brother!, Brother"

"I want her alive, catch her"

He sure is dead now, but I still, have to save my life. I reached the kitchen, I already know where the chute is. I closed the kitchen door after coming in.

"Sh*t!"

There's too much stuff in front of it, I have to move them to get in.

I started moving all the bags instantly, these small bags are quite heavy to move.

His men started knocking on the door, they can come anytime. I started moving them quickly.

I opened the chute and jumped in it and went down sliding, I hear them shouting from above. The chute is of perfect size for me but too small for those muscle pigs. One of them shot at me multiple times, and two of them hit me one of the bullets goes into my right shoulder and the other in my back.

"Didn't you hear, I want her alive. Don't shoot", his brother's voice was echoing.

I got out from there and fell into the large dustbin outside the mansion.

I have to get up and leave from here before they can reach me. They can be here anytime, I got up and put my hand on the edge to jump but my arm was too weak to support my body weight, and instead of a clean landing I fell hard on the floor.

I can't feel my right arm now, I stood up, I have to find something to leave. Fortunately, not a single bullet hit my leg, I can walk. But I jumped from a high and I have already lost a lot of blood.

I reached the main road, there are many cars, I can take one. I went to one of the cars and took an iron rod from the ground, I hit the glass of the door with all my might. It took two strokes for the glass to shatter completely, the car siren turned off.

"She is here."

I saw his men running toward me, I instantly put my hand in and opened the door. I went into the car, I searched the dashboard and found something to start the car. It's his car, it has a password system, I know it I saw him inserting the password.

I started the car and drive away, I turned to the bridge. I have lost a lot of blood, I can't handle the driving wheel perfectly, I saw a piece of cloth on the back of the car, I took it and tied my shoulder with it, but the blood is constantly flowing. Soon I noticed a lot of cars behind me, I looked into the rearview mirror, it was them. I stepped on the accelerator to drive faster, but of no use, my vision is completely blurred and my arms stopped moving. The last thing I did was to turn the wheel, the car jumped into the river.
