KHLOE ROSWELL.
My head hurt real bad as I struggled to open my eyes. I do not know for how long I have been unconscious, but I can tell that it has been for a while. As my eyes fully opened, I looked around and I realized I wasn’t in my room, as a matter of fact, I wasn’t in any room I remember. I struggled to sit up and noticed the room was painted white and there were lots of paintings on the wall. I couldn’t even spot a door. Which left me wondering how I got in here. I tried my best to stand up, but I couldn’t, I was very weak. “Is anyone there?” I used my last strength to yell, my head was throbbing and my feets were very weak. I didn’t hear a word, no creaking, nothing, but a woman suddenly walked into the room from a passage. I stared at her as she walked toward me, fear gripping my heart. “W…who are you?” I questioned, I could tell she was a nurse from the outfit she was wearing. She looked kind, but the fact that I didn’t recognize her made me worried. “You have to rest, okay?” She whispered, she tried to touch me but I pushed her arm away. “Where am I? Who are you? What am I doing here?” I asked all at once. “I’ll answer your questions!” A very deep masculine voice replied, he had walked in from the same direction the nurse had used to walk into the room. I couldn’t quite see his face, but he was very tall, and had a very broad shoulder. “Where am I?” I asked once again, my vision slowly becoming weak. I was too tired to speak and I knew I could lose consciousness at any moment but I struggled to keep myself awake. “Nurse, you may leave, I’ll call you when I need you.” he said to the nurse, she nodded and walked away. When the nurse left, the man stepped further into the light. I stared at him for a moment until it clicked. I recognize him from somewhere but I cannot remember. He had black curly hair, he had a very well trimmed beard, and a bandage on his neck. “It’s good to see that you are awake, my lovely wife.” he stated, I had to chuckle, it was funny for him to call me that. “I am not your wife, what am I doing here and who the hell are you?” I yelled loudly. “You do not have to yell, I dislike that.” he said softly, his hands trying to caress my cheeks as he stood right before me, but I moved away. “As for your questions, I’ll answer them.” He poured himself a glass of water and sipped from it. “My name is Anthonio Armani, the leader and the head of the Turkish mafia group, your husband,” he introduced himself. Turkish mafia group? Husband? This was all too much to take in. “I’m in Turkey?” I asked and he nodded. “I am not your wife, I do not remember any wedding.” I added, trying to get off the bed but he instantly pinned me down softly, he was very calm, his face was inches away from me and he brushed my hair off my face. “Calm down, you’re my wife, we are legally married.” he said in a half whisper. I pushed him off me, aiming for his neck. He winced in pain and harshly grabbed me by the neck. “You have better calm down, do you want to break my neck again?” he asked, pinning me harshly to the headboard of the bed. “I do not know you, let me go!” I said. I was desperate and wanted to leave. I do not understand how my father will give me away to the Turkish mafia so easily, despite knowing that they hate us. “Of course you do, you know me. Or have you forgotten how you stole back your diamonds and broke my neck?” he asked and the memories of that scenario flooded my mind. He was the man I had beaten up, now I fully recognize him. “It is you!” I uttered and he smiled. “I must say, I was impressed by your moves and how you stole back the Diamonds, I just knew I had to make you my wife.” he said, a smile on his face. “You’re crazy,” I slapped him hard across the face. “I am not your fucking…” before I could speak further, he tightened his grip on my neck, making it hard for me to breathe. I struggled and pushed, trying to catch some air but he was very strong. The moment I almost gave up, he let go of my neck and I struggled for breath. “You and I are legally married, you signed the marriage documents and they have been approved by the Italian court and Turkish court, everyone in the world is aware that you are my wife, so you better behave yourself.” he warned, I wanted to cry as I realized that my father had tricked me into signing a marriage contract but I resisted the urge to and massaged my neck as I still struggled to breath. “I do not accept this marriage.” I whispered. “Oh darling, you have to. Did you think you could steal from and break my neck without paying a price?” he said, a smile on his face. “You’re lucky I’m weak, I would have broken your neck again.” I ran my mouth despite knowing I was weak compared to him. “Oh shut up, you are weak!” he said. “You have to rest my love, we have a dinner to attend later.” He grabbed my arm and kissed it. After that, he brushed my hair and placed a peck on my cheeks. I tried to push him off but he was rough. Due to how weak I was, I couldn’t get up, so I laid back on my bed and watched his retreating figure leave the room. Soon the tears in my eyes flowed as I realized how alone I am in this world. My own father had tricked me into legally marrying his rival, and I’m certain this is for a business deal. I felt betrayed, I wanted revenge, I wanted to make him pay for everything he had ever done to me and my mother. For the times I had seen her cry and for the day she had died, when he could have easily saved her, but no, he sacrificed her to save his life. I am not going to let go of this one, I am going to get revenge on everyone.ANTHONIO ARMANI.No woman dares to hit me and go scot free without her bones broken, not just a woman, no one. But there was something about her that caught my attention. She was fierce, and determined to get what she wanted and she wasn’t scared to lose her life in the process, these were the traits I needed in a wife, a woman that would become the Queen of the Turkish Mafia. I knew I had to have her, so I immediately sent a threat to her father to ensure that she becomes my wife within 24 hours. I scared him so badly that he even sent her down to Turkey without second thoughts. I pity the poor woman, her own father wasn’t even willing to fight for her. “What you are doing is so wrong Anthonio, how can you force her to marry you knowing very well that you love someone else?” My friend, Daniel said, he was very worried about her. “You are not only ruining one woman’s life, but two, this is wrong, Anthonio.” he pressed. “Can you keep shut?” I seethed. No one dares speak to me like th
KHLOE ROSWELL. It was too easy to escape, and I found it suspicious. He let me go without a fight, and his guards conveniently looked the other way. I could tell from the way some of them stared at me as I ran by that they had seen me, but were pretending not to. This act from them made me realize something, there is no way I can escape from here, Anthonio rules this city and has men everywhere. I kept on looking back and no one was coming after me, giving me more reasons to return as there was no use to run away, he will find me, as a matter of fact I’m certain he’s watching me right now. The mafias are powerful, and I know how they roll so I know it was hopeless trying to run. So I turned around and walked back toward the mansion, the gates were instantly opened by a guard, he smiled at me, clearly proving my points. “Take me to your master.” I said to the guard, he shook his head in agreement. KHLOE ROSWELL."Khloe, we need to retreat, this is too dangerous!" my second in command, Diego, yelled at me. But I wasn't ready to listen to him; I was hell-bent on getting back my diamond from them. Disregarding Diego's warning, I shot at their car, busting all their tires, and signaled to my men to train their guns on them."Out of the car, now!" I commanded, my voice seething with anger. They all obeyed, "Throw your weapons away, now!" I said and they did as told. They threw their weapons and went on their knees. I glared at the man in the back seat, he didn't budge, he was still seated and staring at the scene before him."Are you mad? Come out of the car now!" I yelled at him, but he wasn't budging, so I proceeded to get him out. I opened the door, and my eyes fell upon calm but daring ones - his eyes calmly scrutinized me.
