Jasper

“Did she just call me your fling?”

Nymeria asked in an incredulous voice as her azure blue eyes widened into saucers.

But before I could answer two loud sounds filled my ears. One was of Celia closing the doors as if a horde of monsters was coming at her.

Nymeria’s quill fell from her hands and she placed her hands on her ears, knocking off the inkpot in the process.

Another second later, the sound of the glass crashing on the floor and flying everywhere rang through the silence.

“Oh, I am sorry”

Nymeria bit her lip as the inkpot fell to the floor with a thud and broke into several glass fragments.

I placed my hand on my forehead and replied wearily, “Go get a new one”

She bent down to gather a few pieces of glass but I stopped her, “don’t bother, get someone to clean the mess. You focus on your work”

Nymeria nodded her head and went out to find a palace servant to get her an inkpot and new quills.

I did not bother answering her first question as I was not sure of what was goin

Celia The sun was almost up the horizon when I got up from the bed. I had been tossing and turning in the bed, all alone and I woke up with a headache. Rubbing my forehead with my fingers, I looked around. I was in my room, all alone and there was no sign of Jasper ever having come inside in the night. Frustration boiled in me again but I got up and decided to train by myself again. I just would become smarter, and faster and leave this palace and the prince for good. I went to the shower and took off my clothes, and stripped off my bra and panties before turning on the hot water. It worked wonders on my sleep deprived frustrated self as I took my time cleaning myself, and lathering the soap. I had left the necklace on, I did not feel like parting with it though it was a thing given to me by Jasper. It was a strange feeling. When I was near him, I got angry and when I was away, I wanted him around just to bite his head off. “And, lick his chest” Rain supplied. She had gone s

CeliaI was hanging by the harness and had climbed almost 15 feet high when I heard a very familiar voice behind me.It was Jasper. And he was standing in his training gear. And obviously, he was pissed. And, it was directed at me.Boy, I was fucked. No surprises there.“My lady, do you need a ladder to climb down?”He asked in a mocking tone. I turned around to meet his eyes but my stupid gaze fell on his body as usual. He was wearing a thin vest and grey shorts. The muscles in his chest were very visible and so were the tattoos or whatever they were on his chest.I had been gawking at his very prominent chiseled chest but the tattoos reminded me of how I could not roam my hands over them even if I wanted to.Thus, I forced my eyes to travel up and rest on his face. His silver eyes were cold and staring at me with a low simmering rage.Grace was quick to put distance from both of us and pretend to be fascinated by the wall. The other guards too looked around as if not knowing what wa

Celia “What the…?” I had started but Jasper turned around and in a second he was upon me. His hands clutched me by the throat and he held me up. My feet were dangling in the air as he walked forward and pinned me to the wall. “Just stay within your limits, Celia.” He growled and the way he said those lines told me it was high time I shut up. So I did. “I have bound you to me, do you get that?” He asked and I nodded my head as if that explained everything. “The necklace that you show off all the time, that is no ordinary piece of jewelry.” Jasper growled as he cooled off his rage and let go of me, making me fall to the ground for the second time. He was mad at me and it felt like it was not because of my tamper tantrum outside. Jasper raked his hands through his hair and turned his back to me. His vest was of made of a thin, breathable material and I could see through it. There were scars and wounds on his back but also another set of runes on his back. The girl had been pro

  • The Lycan's Obsession   Chapter 42

JasperThis girl was driving me insane. I tried being nice to her, but still, she was angry. And when I was rude and cold to her, still she was angry.Just why was she so damn confusing?First, she clawed at me back in her room suddenly and it took me some time to understand that she was having a panic attack. Since she didn't want me around, I asked Grace to keep her company and even opened up my private balcony. Not that it was completely mine and it had been remodeled but I did not want to dwell on that for now. Then I let her rest, let her get some space, and then worked on my anger, brought in Nymeria to get myself inked all over again so that no such incident ever happened again.Yet she was giving me the cold shoulder.I, Prince Jasper, the one lycan prince even King Brigdain himself feared. She was haughty and that loud mouth of hers felt nice when I kissed her senseless and the way she moaned under me.It had been hard to keep myself under check after just one kiss. I had kep

CeliaIn my haste to take him by surprise, I had just shoved my legs straight into Jasper’s face. I had not even thought about what I was doing but when he inhaled deeply, I felt a shudder of pleasure erupt through me.Damn, how could I be so stupid? So, I let go of his face and lowered my legs but I saw the way his eyes darkened. They held so much more in those silvery orbs that my nerves had gone all haywire.Jasper loosened his hold of me, but I didn’t want to. I wanted him close, I wanted him near me, I wanted him to look at me.I did not want Nymeria running her hands all over him, I wanted it to be me.But, I was too proud to admit that, so my tongue simply uttered something I wish I could take back.“If you win, I punish you and if you win, you can punish me”A fire erupted in Jasper’s eyes at that. His voice sounded husky when he spoke, “What can the punishment entail?”“Anything the other party desires,” I said with more conviction than I felt.Who was I fooling? He could str

  • The Lycan's Obsession   Chapter 44

CeliaMy heart skipped a beat when I heard his words. What did he want from me?My pupils dilated upon seeing the smirk on his face. Meanwhile, he got up from above me and gave me a hand.I looked at his towering figure and ignored the heat rising up in me as I extended my hand to meet his.He gently pulled me up and let go of me. He did not explain what he wanted to do and just turned around saying, “I need to go shower. I think we are done for the day”What?Did he just haul me like a sack to his private training chamber to dump me here in minutes? I was so angry and pissed but he walked out of the room without another word, leaving me waiting in anticipation again.I grumbled and got up from the floor while flattening my messed up hair. Jasper was gone and I was left with nothing but my frustration. I walked out of the training chamber and headed towards my room.I was sweating buckets and needed a good shower to calm down myself. I was dabbing sweat off my forehead with a towel an

  • The Lycan's Obsession   Chapter 45

JasperI had walked out of the training chamber and away from Celia though I was still hard. The wooden staff that she had retrieved had saved my face but the little guy in my pants was just as rock hard.I did not like the fact that I got turned on so much around her and she had such an effect on me. I had stayed away from her, partly to let her recover from her past trauma and partly to give myself time to distance away from her, to not be so worked up around her.I had thought that the last three days or so had been enough to make me feel neutral around her but I guess not.Though there was definitely nothing stirring in my heart. That was still ice cold but my cock did twitch whenever she jiggled her cute little ass.Shaking my head to get rid of the memories of holding her close and inhaling her apparent arousal, I walked towards my room and got in the shower.Turning on the shower, I let the cool water flow down my broad back as I picked up a shower gel from a dozen or so bottle

  • The Lycan's Obsession   Chapter 46

JasperThe sleep that had been wanting to engulf me flew out of the window when I heard him. What the hell was my brother plotting?“Kill the Vampire lord?”I repeated, wanting to ensure that I was not hearing things.Edriel shrugged, “Killing would maybe be taking things a bit too far, but subduing him maybe?”I scoffed. My brother had lost it.I slid the sheets aside and looked at him pointedly, furrowing my eyebrows."What do you really want, Edriel?”My gaze was sharp, piercing and though he was elder than me, I knew I could make him uneasy. He was jealous of me since childhood but knew better than to mess with me a lot. But he would get his satisfaction in little things such as getting a rise out of me.A way to boost his ego, I guess. And as long as it was harmless and just borderline annoying, I would let him.He was family after all, or whatever was left of it. “I want to be the next King, Jasper. Simple as that”Edriel answered and I shook my head. My eldest brother was not

  • The Lycan's Obsession   Chapter 248

Jasper I turned my head to look at her from a distance. I could see the nervousness in her gaze, in her body language. My gaze flicked to the guests, all of whom were looking at her. She cleared her throat, “Today is going to be a big day of my life. But before I take that step…I…I wanted to tell you all something.” Her gaze found mine and I only smiled at her. Before she could speak another word, one of the many people in the crowd placed a hand on his chest and bowed down to her. Celia was stunned and watched him In surprise. Behind her, Nymeria, Xenos, and Vasil were slowly descending the stairs too. Following the first person, a few more did the same- place a hand on their chest, their heart to be precise, and bowed to her, going down on one knee. “What is going on?” She asked In a low voice. Soon, everybody followed suit. In a matter of minutes, the entire crowd was on its knees, bowing to her. Her eyes flicked to me and I too did the same gesture. Placing my hand on my

JasperI cleared my throat and looked down at the crowd of people who had come to witness the wedding. There had been no happy event or celebration in the palace after my birth. That day had been a day of celebration but Isadora had turned it into a nightmare. And after all those years, finally, we were having a moment to rejoice. But as I watched the hopeful eyes of the people surrounding me, I could not shake the uneasy feeling gnawing at me.I had to get rid of it. And the only way to do that was to be honest. For a confused moment, I stood on the stairs, looking at the excited faces of the people around me.My gaze flicked to my father and brothers, all of whom were smiling proudly at me.“Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention please?” I asked in a loud voice, turning even those heads that had been momentarily distracted while looking at the grandeur of the palace.“First of all, I would like to thank you all for being present today. Frankly, I did not expect so many of

  • The Lycan's Obsession   Chapter 246

JasperThe huge room suddenly felt too small and the air in the world did not seem enough to fill my lungs.Celia had spoken something, but I was too busy staring at her.My heartbeat was roaring in my ears as I took in her beauty that shone radiantly, nothing short of a thousand lanterns. Her face looked distraught and her eyes were red, her cheeks puffed up. Her makeup had smeared a little too.But despite that, she looked like an angel. A Goddess.I had only seen her in her usual gowns and training clothes, but this marvel…this was just for me.For a minute, I simply stood in front of her, drinking her features. How could she be so blissfully ignorant of what she was doing to me by just standing there in that beautiful dress?I took a step forward, and I saw a tear trickle down her eye.“Shh, don’t cry,” I said softly, reaching for her face and cupping it. And when I did, a surge of electricity rippled through me.My Lycan roared in my head, feeling exhilarated to see her all dolle

CeliaDread settled in my heart when Xenos and Nymeria revealed my life’s biggest secret. My whole life had been a lie?But then what about the people I grew up with thinking they were my parents?Nothing made sense anymore, and I only stared blankly at Xenos.“Is…is that true?”I asked, and he nodded. “There is a reason I never found the courage to tell you all of this earlier. And to be sure that I was not guessing it all wrong, I asked Nymeria to allow me to show her that memory, too. I touched her and with her permission, I looked through her memories…childhood memories, to be specific. There was no trace of me or Isadora in it.”My heart felt like it would break into a million pieces.“But then, how could I never do magic? I never sensed it and…and then why was I not able to fight her when she…she killed me?”I was sobbing hysterically and Nymeria’s face looked like she was cursing herself for ruining my day.She apologized over a thousand times that she did not want me to learn

Celia "Are you going to tell her, or should I?" Nymeria's question hung in the air like a storm cloud, casting a palpable tension in the room. I looked from Nymeria to Xenos, confusion and a growing sense of foreboding twisting in my chest. Their solemn expressions conveyed that something grave was afoot. I shifted uncomfortably in my seat, my heart beginning to race. "Tell me what?" I pressed, my voice laced with unease. Xenos, usually a man of few words, hesitated for a moment. His eyes held mine for a second longer than I expected, and I could see a mix of guilt and apprehension in them. He opened his mouth to speak but closed it again, the weight of his unspoken words lingering in the room. Nymeria, her expression torn between sympathy and responsibility, finally broke the silence. "Celia, there's something you need to know." I felt a shiver crawl down my spine. The room, once filled with warmth and camaraderie, had now become suffocating with uncertainty. My thoughts raced as

  • The Lycan's Obsession   Chapter 243

CeliaThe grand lycan palace was alive with anticipation, every corner adorned with flowers and delicate decorations in celebration of our wedding day. Two weeks had passed in a blur since the night Jasper had proposed to me in front of my pack. And every day after that seemed like a dream to me. I would wake up and pinch myself, wondering if it was all my imagination. But it was true, every single moment of it…just like today. The air was thick with the sweet scent of blooming roses, and the palace echoed with laughter and the sound of joyous conversations. In my room, the one I used to live in before I moved in with Jasper, a sense of nervous excitement filled the room as I sat before a beautifully crafted vanity mirror, surrounded by my maids and my dear friend, Nymeria. Their skilled hands moved with grace, tending to every detail to transform me into the radiant bride I aspired to be.The maids began to braid my long, dark hair, weaving flowers and jewels into it.As their nimble

"Are you guys ever coming out?" Jasper called with a good-natured grin, standing a few paces away from the porch. He had his hands placed on the doorframe and looked at us with his eyes furrowed as he saw Vasil holding my hand which I gave a gentle squeeze.“Don’t forget what I told you. Think about it,” I added, looking at Vasil while getting up from the chair.Jasper folded his hands over his chest and asked, “What secret are you guys discussing?”Vasil too got up from his chair and gave my arm a light squeeze.“Of course. And just so you know, if he ever hurts you or makes you sad, you know where to find me.”“Ha ha ha, very funny, bloodsucker,” Jasper replied humorlessly and looked at me to indicate that he wanted me to come out of the room.Vasil outstretched his hand as if to say, “After you” and I looked at him with my eyes wide, “Why are you always mean to him?”Jasper grinned, “He tried to take you from me. Am I not great for letting him live?”Vasil, who was just behind me,
