CHAPTER SIXTY EIGHT

When Lucas walked into his bedroom and met Brenda, he suddenly regretted the decision of their dinner date.

He couldn’t go back on his word now though, so he forced a weary smile to his face as he closed the door behind him.

“I heard some voices coming from downstairs,” She said. “Who was that?”

“Oh, that was Dolph, he’ll be busy in my study while we dine,” Lucas replied and took off his suit coat.

“Yikes,” She remarked. “Dolph seems like the only one that doesn’t have time to himself, he hardly even has time to rest from what I see.”

“He loves working,” Lucas replied, it wasn’t completely a lie, but it wasn’t true.

Dolph had nothing else to do actually, he didn’t have many friends. Lucas was his only friend, he wasn’t a very social person. If he wasn’t screwing a lady out of her brains, then he was working, that was Dolph's schedule.
