Sera never expected that she’d be so excited to see a gang of criminals in her life, but as she drove to the farm, she felt giddy, like she was about to meet a family member that she hadn’t seen in a long time…. And in a sense, it was true because Carlos said he’d been so close to her family that he was practically her Uncle.

The thought made her warm…. Since Grace and Cedric, it felt like she was never going to have another deep connection with anyone again. But with how things were going with Carlos, Amelia and even James, it seemed like she was wrong. Thank goodness for that.

When Sera’s car reached the farm, she was delightfully surprised when they opened the gate for her, allowing her to drive past their scary electric fence and their warning signs…. They were welcoming her.
