Amelia drove to Carlos's farm with enough anger to beat up fifty people. When James had told her that she would be the one to meet Carlos and his gang to give them the next set of instructions that would be beneficial for their plan—- their plan to get rid of the men that could protect Sera from them, she had argued, quarreled, and yelled at him.

"Why can't you do it yourself? Why do I have to be the one to meet those... those group of criminals?" James just rolled his eyes at her. "Why are you being so upset about this? I already told you they would listen to you before they would likely listen to me."

"Why do you think they would listen to me? I am not Sera; they only listen to her."

"Well, you know we cannot get Sera to do it because she's against us having anything to do with Alistair's land. She would stop our plan in its tracks, and she would suspect that something is going on."

"Can't we get someone else to do it? Like one of the guards?" she argued.

"No, it has to be you.
