Chapter Twenty Six

SCARLET’S POV

I kept to myself in the room which the Alpha had ordered for me to be sent into. It was a nice bed, and room, but I knew I was a prisoner here, and that didn’t make the nice room feel nice.

Anxiety settled deep inside me because I didn’t know what to expect from Brad, and the Alpha. I hugged my knees to my chest, and sniffled as I fought back the tears which wanted to pave their way out of my eyes.

I wondered how my mother would be feeling right now. Oh, goodness. I need to get out of here before what I’m trying my best to avoid gets to me.

Suddenly, a few women came in, dressed like maids. I guess they were. They brought in jewelry, clothes, and other things.

“Please kindly make your way to the bathroom, ma’am.” One of them, urged with a slight smile on her face that shows she was being respectful.
