Gianna's POV
I walked from Dane's office down the Hallway to Angel's room. After knocking, I opened the door and looked left and right trying to look for any trace of Beta Miles.
God knows I'd melt if my eyes met his, I wouldn't want to admit it but I was afraid of that man.
Angel seemed so busy that I thought it wrong for me to disturb but I needed someone to talk to, to get this burden off my chest.
Her eyes landed on me and I offered her a smile before she stood up and enveloped me in a warm hug, I sighed in relief on her shoulders.
"You don't look good, are you okay?" She asked as she scribbled some words on paper and I shook my head, waving it off dismissively.
I had canceled the thoughts of discussing my problems with her at the last minute, I doubt if she'd even understand when she had problems of her own.
