Chapter 74 There was no ulterior motive

I felt a surge of anger coursing through my veins as I watched my sister, Nabita, playing pranks like a child. It was not just the pranks themselves that irritated me, but the underlying intentions behind them. Something didn't sit right with me, and I knew there was more to her mischievous behavior than met the eye. Unable to contain my frustration any longer, I sought solace in the presence of my husband, Alpha Xavier, and poured out my concerns.

"Xavier, I can't stand Nabita's childish pranks anymore," I exclaimed, my voice laced with irritation. "There's something off about all of this. I feel like she has ulterior motives."

Alpha Xavier, ever calm and composed, placed a comforting hand on my shoulder. "My love, let us not jump to conclusions. It's possible that Nabita is merely seeking some harmless fun. We shouldn't let it affect us so deeply."
