Uriahs POV:

As we delved into my memories, we revisited my time in Alpha Tyler's pack.

The memories came flooding back, both joyous and painful.

I recalled the camaraderie, the sense of belonging, but also the struggles and betrayal that ultimately led me to leave.

I pondered her question, my mind retracing the steps that led me to this point. "I was close to him that night, closer than anyone else in the pack the evening when I got drugged by Nabitha. He trusted me with his body , and I think he saw something in me that he couldn't find in others."

"Right now, Trust is a powerful thing," Jessica said softly. "And it's clear that you're trying to repay that trust, even though it comes at a great cost."

"I don't want Xavier to get hurt because of me," I admitted, my voice breaking. "I love him too much to put him through all that”.
