Viper stared at Kenzie. He was sure his germanus, patruss, and pater was doing the same. He closed his eyes and let out a slow breath. She was irritated, yet he hadn't done anything to irritate her. He hadn't thought she spoke his language, but clearly he had been mistaken. Viper was fairly sure that he hadn't upset her. So why had she told him he could go futuo himself?
"She speaks our language?" Sikta questioned.
"I do not think so," Viper responded confused, as he’d only heard her say yes after learning it from him.
