No.
No.
No.
Dread engulfed her, spreading through her body like a vicious fire, taking over every muscle and cell in her body leaving her heart rattling in trepidation.
Why the King? Of all the monsters in this world, why the Lycan King? Sweat broke on her forehead as the Mistress straightened up and grabbed Fiona's arm.
"My King, this pet is exactly what you've asked for," the Mistress said in her sweet tone.
"Pet!" The low grumble of the voice had her gulping and chin quivering. She could feel the authority in his voice.
"Kneel," the man who was hidden behind the dark spoke.
Fiona inhaled sharply. So it seems today would be her end. Well, she will not regret dying knowing she gave them a hell of a time. But still, she never deserved this.
"No," She said with all the mustered-up confidence and the King's lips tugged at the corner.
"I'll get her," The King said and the Pet Mistress' eyes lit up as she clasped her hands together in joy.
She motioned at the worker who came forward holding a black fur collar.
Fiona on the other hand looked blanched, tears burned her eyes as she gaped at the darkness in horror. He wasn't supposed to say that. He was supposed to get her killed for disrespecting him.
It was taking too long for her to process things when the worker secured the collar tight around her neck, ensuring that she couldn't slip it off and escape.
Her shackled hands flew up as she tried to free her neck from the collar.
The Pet Mistress grabbed the leash as she yanked Fiona down the stairs and out of the hall. She didn't even realize when the King had walked out. She barely noticed the dark gazes of the audience.
Stepping out the mistress unlocked all the shackles from her as Fiona rubbed her wrists, her gaze bounced around hoping to find an escape but her emerald eyes widened when they fell on the tall man dressed in royal jewels and furs.
She gulped as dread coiled in her heart. She wasn't prepared for this. This wasn't the plan. She was supposed to be sold off to a werewolf, not a freaking Lycan King of all the damned beasts.
How would she survive with a Lycan? No. No. She had to make a run.
"Here, sire." The mistress said forwarding her leash to the King when all of a sudden Fiona grabbed the leash and made a blind dash toward the road.
She barely took three to four steps because of those damned high heels when the Royal guards grabbed her and dragged her back to the King. She winced and struggled wildly but to no avail.
"Let me go, you morons!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.
They only jerked her roughly, she saw the King forward a cheque to the Pet Mistress and she handed Fiona's file to the King. "Please, shop again from here, sire." The pet Mistress said with a slight bow and stepped back while throwing a triumphant smirk at Fiona who was still struggling.
"Let go!" She screamed when all of a sudden the king turned around and her voice died in her throat when her eyes met his calm ones.
His expressions were schooled and she couldn't see what was going on in his head. Why in the world did he buy her? She wasn't the ideal pet then why? Or perhaps the Lycan King was a psycho.
"Let the lady go," The King said and Fiona gasped horrified as she gaped at the King.
Did he just call her lady?
It seemed like she had already passed away.
What was even happening?
The guards instantly let her go. The king looked at one of the guards who came forward holding a long fur coat that looked extremely expensive.
Fiona's eyes widened, even more, when the guard draped that coat on her form and the other guard handed her leash to the King who seized it and he began to walk out of the building.
A cold breeze swept past her, making her shiver.
She was too stunned to understand. She walked behind him quietly. Not that she could do anything. There were a total of ten of his guards around them. They were tall and well-built.
A limousine rolled in as the guard opened the door for the king. He got inside and she had to follow right after him because of the leash.
She took the seat in front of him in the posh-looking car. Gulping the nervousness down her throat she wrapped the coat properly around herself covering her up as she secured the knot at the front.
"Shall I give you a name?" He asked as her eyes snapped towards him. She had heard it was disrespecting to look a Lycan straight in the eyes. They would kill you on the spot but why did this Lycan King seem so calm and relaxed? It was terrifying.
"I already have one," She said, dropping her gaze. Fiona wasn't able to conclude.
She could either disrespect him properly and say her goodbyes to her life or she could stay calm and be a tiny bit submissive to see why did the King buy her? By the looks of it seems he was already aware of how defiant she was.
Fiona could try to know the reason why he bought her and stay calm for now and come up with an escape plan later. Once she’ll gets to the Warrior’s gang she’ll be safe.
Warrior’s gang was created by rebellious humans who won't give in to these monsters and fight for their freedom. They were strong and knew how to fight. And she’ll make sure to join them soon no matter what it takes.
"What's your name then?" He queried.
"Fiona," She said and the King gave a slight nod.
She was pulling at the collar, it was too tight. She couldn't draw a normal breath.
The King leaned closer and she stiffened, he loosened her collar a little before securing the digital lock back and then he relaxed back on his seat.
She was clutching the coat in her fists. "Can I ask you a question?" She asked and King gave her a nod. Due to some absurd reason he seemed to be a lot amused by her.
"Why did you buy me?" She asked. It still felt unbelievable that she was talking to a King who was none other than a Lycan who was rumored to be the most vicious and ruthless creature.
The King seemed happy that she asked. "I bought you as a trial for my sons," He said smoothly.
"I...I don't understand," She said with a parched throat. King passed her a small comforting smile but his words robbed her of her breath.
"Whichever of my sons kills you first would lose the chance to be my successor," He mused and her face ashen.
The King's words rendered her speechless and once again she was reminded of her true purpose in this world. A mere pet. He bought her as a toy for his sons. This explains why he didn't buy a submissive pet. Rather a pet like her; who won't submit to these monsters no matter what. So he expected her to annoy his sons and as a result one of them would end up killing her, hence the other would get the throne. What a freaking brilliant idea! She started feeling uneasy. Her eyes glided over the interior of the posh expensive car. Maybe this was the last time she'll be sitting in such a beautiful car. Or perhaps maybe this was her last day alive but she would never give up so easily.Of course, she wasn't sold to a werewolf but rather a freaking Lycan King. She has heard enough of the rumors in the last ten years and the scariest ones were always about the Lycans. They were the most powerful and ruthless beasts of them all. When the war first broke out, it was easier and still possible to
She breathed in deeply as she watched them stride to the King. Fiona didn't miss how the King straightened up.She wasn't supposed to look at them but she wanted to see the faces of her soon-to-be assassins."Father," one of them snickered coldly. His eyes were bloodshot and the way he swayed slightly looked as if he was drunk or perhaps he just came straight out of the bed."You called for us?" He asked again, looking bored and annoyed for being there. He has blond hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. And in no way she would ever consider him to be the Prince if not for him calling the king as a father.Noticing a piercing gaze on her, subconsciously her eyes fell on the man beside the blond guy.Her breath hitched when her gaze clashed with the swirling spheres of amber hues. The man looked a lot like the king.He was a few inches taller than the blond guy. A chill of gripping terror seized her heart as she maintained his fierce gaze. There was a sacred sinister aura in his eyes. She f
His dark eyes raked over her ominously. She was expecting him to beat her black and blue because she disrespected his brother. The beast of a man just peered at her with those icy cold orbs and without another word he turned around and left. And all of a sudden the thick air dissipated. Fiona didn't realize that she was holding her breath all this time as she took in large gulps of breath and wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand. She shook her head lightly to clear her blurred vision. Her ear was still ringing because of that brutal slap. With much difficulty, she got to her feet and stumbled a little before maintaining her balance."Are you alright?" The King's voice had her head snapping in his direction. He brought her here to get her butchered by one of his sons and he has the audacity to ask her if she was alright. She didn't answer him as she dropped her eyes to the floor where the skull from the resin floor stared back at her.The huge doors o
"W..what?" Fiona stammered groggily as the sudden panic brought her completely out of her slumber. The slave girl gulped, her body tensed and she looked scared. It was obvious she is human."Prince Dexter has asked for your presence. You must hurry or he'll kill me for taking too long," She said, panicking.Fiona took in a shuddering breath. Hurrying to the cupboard she grabbed the clothes before she stepped into the restroom and washed up, changing her clothes she stepped out making a braid on her long tresses but she has no band to tie it up as she let it be."Let's go," the girl said as she dashed out of the room and Fiona was right behind her. Her heartbeat accelerated as she followed the girl through the long hallways. If she gets lost in this place. She was sure it would take her days to find her room back."What's your name?" The girl asked, still walking ahead of her."Fiona," She replied. The slave girl was a few inches taller than Fiona and had big brown eyes which were full
Fiona took in a shaky breath as her clasp on the knife tightened to such an extent that her knuckles and the skin under her nails turned white. She chewed on her bottom lip before glancing at Hailey who looked horrified. Benjamin was holding her in front of him while securing her arms painfully behind her back to keep her in place."Go ahead, don't make me wait long." Dexter mused shoving a spoon in his mouth as he focused on his breakfast. She couldn't move her eyes away from trembling Hailey. Tears were streaming down her cheeks and she looked terrified. The looks on the other staff were calm but their eyes held fear, which meant such a thing must be an everyday occurrence and why not, their Prince was an absolute psycho."P...please," Hailey whimpered and Fiona gulped the lump of emotions down her throat. This crazy man must be out of his mind if he thinks Fiona would kill one of her kind. If humans won't stick together then these vultures would eat them alive. She glanced at Dext
Fiona wiped her tears with her arm, sniffing. Her hand was hurting so badly and the pain was clamoring all through her arm.She glanced up at how her fingers were twisted and had turned blue. She didn't know for how long she was standing there on her toes. If she dropped her weight to the balls of her feet, her wrists got stretched and it feels like they'll be ripped away from her arms. Her legs were trembling for such a long time as she tried to stay strong and not lose consciousness. It was after what felt like hours, the door creaked open and she groggily opened her eyes to find Adrian staring at her with a tense expression. His eyes fell on her hand before he breathed in deeply."Guard," He barked as a guard dashed inside. "Untie that," He muttered pointing somewhere as he walked to Fiona. Just as the guard unbind the rope her body slacked and she fell forward but Adrian held her delicate frame. He gently pulled her hands down and the guard untied the rope. "It's your first day an
"What are you waiting for?" A hushed whisper close to her ear brought her out of her trance as she flinched away from Adrian who inclined his head towards the table.Gulping the nervousness down her throat she ambled forward and quietly sat two seats away from the King. It was odd how she felt like she was committing a crime sitting at the same table with the king. She stared at the warm delicious food on her plate which at least three people could eat. She snuck a glance at the King who was eating quietly and by the looks of it, the King has a huge appetite just like his son, Dexter. She didn't even want to think about that bastard. He broke her fingers. It was too painful. She was still contemplating whether to eat or not as millions of thoughts raked through her head. What if he wants to punish her for the stunt she tried to pull on Dexter yesterday? "Not hungry or the food is not to your taste?" The King asked and she forced her eyes to stay on the food.Swallowing down the nervou
She thought she didn't have to see this collar again but she was wrong. Adrian stepped closer before he put the collar on her neck and she had to curl her fingers into fists to stop herself from pushing the collar off her.He grabbed her leash but didn't yank at it. "Come on," He said, motioning for her to follow him.She quietly walked behind him as he went into the same wing where her room is. Her heartbeat quickened when they passed by her room and then took another small set of stairs before coming to a halt in front of a huge mahogany door. The door itself exuded darkness. Sweat broke through on her forehead and she breathed in deeply to calm her erratic pulse down but it wasn't in her control. She hasn't felt this anxious since the time she was betrayed. There was no denying that she was scared. Adrian inhaled deeply and then without a knock he opened the door. Her eyes widened at the act of his disrespect and she wanted to stop him from opening the door before he spoke up. "He
8 years later. Fiona sat on the edge of the pool with her legs dipped into the cool water. The cool breeze of the night felt soothing on her skin. The dark gray clouds scattered on the sky like a warm bed thunderstruck. The sight was so terrific yet magnificently beautiful in its way. Fiona sighed, rubbing her arms. A head surfaced from the water followed by massive shoulders. Draco peered at her from below. Grabbing her feet he slid them on his shoulder so now his face was between her legs. His wet cold skin caused her to straighten up but her breath hitched when he bit her inner thigh before nibbling and licking on the same spot as she gently combed his wet hair back with her fingers. He slowly moved further near her intimacy as his wet cold lips gave open-mouthed kisses. Fiona tried not to moan as she chewed on her lower lip while watching him. He tucked her panties aside as that warm tongue came in contact with her vertical lips. She moaned lightly while spreading h
Fiona was dragged into the dungeons. She noticed that they had injected something in Finlay and the toddler was now unconscious. Her mind was in panic mode as gazillions of thoughts raced through her mind. Who was this person dragging her? He was too powerful to be a human? The person who was carrying Finn in his arms in front of her was a guard. Was there a mole in the mansion? To Fiona's shock, the guard pressed a brick, and a secret passage opened through the wall as she was dragged in it. How was it possible for someone to drag her like this in the mansion? How do they know about the secret passage? This means the person was from the mansion and knows about everything. She struggled hard and was able to bite that man's hand with all her might making him wince. He jerked his hand back. Fiona screamed for help at the top of her lungs but that person covered her mouth again. "If you don't want the kid to die, then better cooperate," He hissed in her ear, and just like that all
Blake stomped inside the empty guest room before closing the door behind her. To Ezra's surprise, she locked it. He stood there quietly waiting to hear her explanation. Last time he remembered pretty well how things ended between them and he made sure not to come in her way ever again or to follow her. Blake took in a few deep breaths before she turned to face him. Her legs were trembling in anxiety but she tried to maintain her composure. She shifted her weight from one foot to another while fidgeting with her fingers. Ezra decided to speak up first. "It is rude to drag someone from the middle of their conversation," Ezra said calmly. The she-wolf who approached him earlier was asking him out. There was a possibility that Blake might be jealous but then again, she has no feelings for him so she couldn't be jealous. She might be offended why their eyes met. She probably wants him to disappear into thin air. "Who was that girl?" She asked with eyes fixed on the floor and there w
Fiona was on cloud nine. She has been busy with the preparations for the birthday for the last two days. Gena, Kolton, and Ezra were taking shifts to look after Finlay whereas Adrian was busy helping her. Everything was set and she was getting ready. Fiona wore her dress as she tried to close the zipper but she couldn't reach it. She left it open and continued with her makeup. Gena will be here soon. She'll ask her to do it. Draco has taken her to the branded boutique and handed her the card. He waited for her patiently as she bought a dress for herself. She only bought one dress but Draco wasn't having it. He walked down the aisle and chose multiple dresses asking the staff to pack them and deliver them at the mansion. He even took her to the diamond store and bought several necklaces for her along with rings and earrings. Every time he asked the cashier to pack something, she would gape at him asking him not to buy, but he would just smile and wink at her. She warned him tha
"Where are we gwoing?" Finlay asked looking ahead as Draco held him in his arms. "We are going to meet someone," Draco said. Fiona wanted to come along but Draco had to assure her that Finn would be fine. She wasn't ready to stay back but she trusted him and left Finlay in his security. "Swomeone?" He asked as Draco nodded. He stepped into his study where Dexter was already present with his back to them. Draco closed the door behind them as Finlay's eyes were fixed on Dexter's back. Draco felt the toddler stiffening in his arms as he breathed a whisper, "mwonster," Draco heard it and it churns his heart knowing Finlay was calling his father a monster. Dexter slowly turned around facing the child in Draco's arms and something inside him twisted. There was fear dancing in those blue hues as Finlay stared at him. Draco was expecting the kid to cry or say something. Try to escape but Finn did nothing. He watched Dexter quietly. Except for the fear in his eyes, nothing ga
"What?" She was baffled. "He's changed-" Draco started but she cut him off. "Changed? Are you even hearing yourself? He's the same man who was ready to kill Finlay for Clarke, this is the same man who didn't even bat an eye when Clarke ordered her goons to cut Finlay's hand. Do you have any idea how terrified Finlay was?" Fiona said, losing her calm as her wild emerald stared at him in disbelief. How could he even ask her for such a thing? He cupped the sides of her face firmly as he moved down to look into her eyes. "Finlay is important to me as he's important to you. I accepted him before even knowing he was Dexter's son. Do you think I'll put that kid in danger when I know he's my family?" Draco said calmly but she shook her head. Draco held her firmly as he made her sit on the couch and crouched in front of her holding her hands firmly in his big warm ones. "I know it's hard but Dexter is his father," Draco said. "The father who was ready to kill him?" She mocked. "Finlay
She felt hot feverish kisses on her neck as he pulled her out of her slumber. Fiona blinked slowly as the faint hues of orange filled the room through the curtains. Her brows scrunched, feeling a hand on her bosom. Her eyes flew open wide and she looked down to notice that he was nibbling the skin of her neck while his hand slid into her shirt fondling her breast. She groaned when he bit her tender flesh and sucked on it. She pushed at his chest causing him to pull back. His ruffled black hair was the first thing she saw before he tilted his head up staring at her with those deep ambers. "Good morning," He beamed, shining like a star as her eyes scrunched. "Morning," She said grumpily. He sure was a morning person. Once done with the greeting he began kissing her jaw forcing her to pull back as she pushed his hand out of her shirt. "Stop," She said sternly, giving him a warning glare. She tried to sit up but groaned as her whole body ached. Draco sat up immediately as he wat
She could barely think straight. Draco pulled back as they both panted. He grabbed the zipper of her dress before pulling it down as she held her breath. They were close, chest to chest. Her hot breath mingled with his as she clutched his bicep tightly. The zipper reached down the small of her back. Draco pulled his hand up slowly dragging his cold fingers up her spine causing her to arch into him. He pulled back as their gaze clashed. The immense shyness was urging her to lower her gaze but she didn't. She wanted to see the hunger and passion in his eyes. Those amber eyes that only burn for her. Nothing in this world could ever make her feel so desired and lovable as much as those amber hues that set her soul on fire. He grabbed the hem of her dress before sliding it off her right shoulder, he did the same with her left shoulder, and within seconds the dress pooled around her feet. Draco took two steps back. His dark eyes glided over her delicate frame. The carnal lust in thos
"I'm leaving," Dexter said, pulling back as he rubbed a hand down his face to control his emotions. "I'll be going to the ... Kingdom," Dexter said, taking Draco by surprise. "You don't have to-""I want to, I don't want to stay here for a while, taking responsibility for... the Kingdom would be distracting enough and we need someone responsible for this task," Dexter said in a mature tone which was surprising. "Do you think you'll be alright?" Draco queried. "I'll be fine but before leaving I need your favor," Dexter said. "What is it?" Draco asked and with a deep breath Dexter asked him a favor. *"Here eat this, this one is delicious," Fiona said, offering a delicious cupcake to Finn. She has taken a bite of it as the toddler also took a bite. His eyes lit up as he clapped his hand making an excited face. "Dwilicious," He said joyously and she beamed at him. "More," He said and she removed his suit jacket, folding his sleeves up to his elbows like Draco. She also unbuttons t
