CAMERON

“What?” I inquired, staring at her as she blushed, a soft pink hue appeared on her cheeks. I took a peek into the bag and chuckled at her adorable embarrassment. “Do you not like them?” I gestured to the beautiful sets of undies the assistant at the mall had chosen.

“They're beautiful. Thanks for being so thoughtful.” Her voice, barely above a whisper as it dripped with embarrassment.

“Not me. I had asked one of the assistants at the mall to pick up the choicest and most pretty items for a lady.” I explained. The last thing I wanted was for her to see me as a man with no shame.

“Oh.. Still very thoughtful of you.” Her face pulled up in a smile this time. I returned the smile, relieved at the easing tension.

I sat cluelessly, unsure of what else to do as I watched her unpack the items, displaying them all around her alongside her unending appreciative comments. I was suddenly glad for stopping over at the mall this evening in spite of the stressful day I had. Seeing her che

OLIVIA The warm rays of the sun shining into the room and settling on my skin, roused me out of slumber. I made to sit up and I'm stopped by Cameron's firm grip still on my waist. My eyes take in the sleeping figure lying peacefully on the bed like a log of wood. He had worked late into the night, making and taking lots of calls that had me wondering what the whole situation was all about. I did not want him to think that I was curious about his ‘Princely’ responsibilities, so I settled myself on the bed patiently waiting for him. I badly wanted to express my displeasure about his girlfriend or probably, his ex-girlfriend. But as the minutes ticked by, with the wait becoming longer, my eyelids had grown heavy and I succumbed to the irresistible pull of nature. Good thing he's not up yet I thought as I reached out to trail my fingers across his peaceful looking face. I jumped in surprise as Cameron grabbed my hands. “I didn't mean to wake you up.” I said awkwardly, feeling embarras

OLIVIA The days went by, and soon, it turned into weeks. With the frequent raiding of packs on the increase, Cameron had gotten so busy as he was often out to help the invaded packs and to apprehend the perpetrators. In order to see less of the blonde, I often locked myself in his suite except on days when I stepped out for a run. I discovered a route that led to the woods and it's been a very reliable way to kill boredom. This way, I've been able to avoid the annoying blonde that was practically everywhere only seeing her whenever Cameron was around and even at that, it's always irritating to see her act all nice and sweet around him. Right now, I badly needed a cold drink as today had me going on a running spree again. I had left the house almost at the same time Cameron had gone out to rescue a pack that was being attacked as at the time he was notified. In as much as I would prefer to head straight to the bathroom to take a cold bath, I made a beeline for the kitchen. “There y

AVA Olivia was so angry that she couldn't remain in the house with the blonde bitch. I was sure I disliked her with everything in me but my human’s dislike for her greatly exceeded mine. We had just returned home after a good sprint in the woods. It was our regular way of putting away boredom as our mate was always unavailable and in the real sense, it helped us avoid the blonde as much as possible. Just as we thought we had succeeded for the day, my human ended up getting enraged by the blonde’s manipulative words. I figured she was going to return to the woods, so I took control and led us back to the woods. Right after she pulled off her clothes, I shifted, pushing her to the reccess. The very first time we shifted when we located this place, I surprisingly felt unexplainable energy burst through me. I felt much more stronger than the usual beta I was. I also discovered that I could pick up sounds much sharper and clearer than how I used to back then in my former pack. Whether

CAMERON I halted on the spot as my gaze landed on the large footprint that was obviously not that of a werewolf. It was quite relieving that we were making progress on tracking the rogues as the rogue attacks were on the increase. With a deep inhale, I sniffed the air in hopes to find more links to the attackers. My nose crinkled in disgust as I not only made out the rotten smell of rogues in the air, but also the empty smell of an ominous being. I was sure it belonged to someone more powerful than regular werewolves even though I am barely able to perceive its very faint aura that lingered somewhere in the air. This wasn't good at all. Looking at it from another angle, these rogues probably had the support of a larger shifter, could be a werebear or even a Lycan. Whoever the bigger presence was, he was very skilled in covering his tracks only that it was almost impossible for a Lycan to leave traces. Could this mean that they wanted to be traced? I pondered on the possibilities.

CAMERON I joined Landon and his group alongside the three alphas that were with me. There were carcasses of rogues scattered around with the smell of rogue blood heavy in the air. Landon was still in his beast form. “Good job.” I spoke gruffly and swept past them with everyone following behind as we continued our mission to track the rogues. We hadn't gone too far when we came across another set of rogues. It looked like they were guarding another set that seemed to be their masters. We handled them like the rogues they were, dirty, smelly and useless. With a sense of urgency, we bursted into a large clearing with a small house situated in the middle and was greeted by an awful sight. Right before the front of the house was a group of female werewolves almost the size of a small pack with numerous chains entwined on their legs and hands that showed that they were been held captive. These she-wolves stared in horror as they watched the show an athletic man who stood before them was

CAMERON I allowed her to proceed with applying the contents of the bottle on my injury, its black liquid trailing down my arm, the potency of the lethal substance had weakened considerably and the injury was starting to heal faster - much faster though with my Lycan genes. My eyes continuously strayed from the injury to the dark haired woman applying the antidote. What in the name of doppelganger was happening here? I thought to myself. Landon too had stopped for a moment to take a good look at her. She looked like she was in her mid thirties even though her skin looked beaten up by the harsh weather and perhaps, untold sufferings. The green eyes, the long dark thick hair, their pale and smooth skin- this woman still had the looks even amidst hardship. I had a feeling that she would have a relationship of some sort with my mate. “Shit!” I muttered, guilt washing over me as I realized that I had not really had a heart to heart conversation with her save for very few exchanges. ROWAN “Go get her! Go quickly, mark her! Her wolf still recognizes you as their mate!” My mother's voice sounded as she roughly pushed me out of the car with which I had driven us to the woods where I spotted Olivia a few days ago. Losing Olivia had hurt my ego at some point. My pride as an alpha couldn't take it that my originally fated one was being taken away from me. I didn't know which hurt more, her rejecting me or her being taken away from me. I had Lisa but my wolf still craved Olivia. She was mine even before we both knew about it so I would not have her being whisked away from me by anyone, not even if he was the prince. For weeks, I searched the neighboring packs and surroundings with no trace of her. I was almost at the verge of giving up on finding her when I sighted her from afar a few days ago as she stepped out from the woods. I sensibly made this woods my second home, having leisure runs in it every now and then. For days she did not show up until yesterday, I was t

{Cold Moon Pack}OLIVIA I’m woken up by a sharp, searing pain in my head. The last I could remember is that I was having a run in the woods. I twist my face in pain as I try to remember what happened next but my thoughts are a mess. Did I run too much and pass out? How long have I been lying down here? “Ouch!” I winced in pain, and try to hold my head in place but my arms won't move. I sat up with a groan and just stare around confused. I’m totally confused. I still can’t move my arms, but my fingers were able to feel the cold ground beneath me. Wait a second… my eyes take in my surroundings and widened in alarm when the realization hits me, this place smelt familiar - I was in my former pack. “Oh, Goddess!” I cried as another searing headache starts to spread. Rowan must have brought me back to his pack. “What the hell.” I groan, more out of frustration than pain. Then I remember that he forcefully tried to mark me. “Aarghhh!” I scream, my heart beat accelerating with dread

Words are unable to describe the amount of rage that coursed through my veins as she hurled an insult at my mom.My hands clenched into fists as I studied her face ready to aim a punch at her nose if she dares come closer again when Cameron's aura reached for me, filling me with calmness. “Well,” I started coolly, “Firstly, my mother is no slut!” “Secondly,” I continued, noticing how Claire observed my calmness. “Trust me when I say I would have done just that. But then, she isn't responsible for the said actions of a certain Luna.” I laced my words with a good dose of nonchalance. She narrowed her eyes in an angry glare. “So what are you trying to …”“What did I ever do to you?” I demanded, raising my voice and emitting a strong aura that I never knew I possessed before now. OLIVIA There were still a few things I wanted to know from Luna Claire. They were questions I very much needed answers to. I had always thought of her bullying me as normal seeing as she bullied others too even though mine was far worse. With how often she did so, I grew a thick skin to her bullying as I had no rank nor qualification to stand up to her, so I thought. Now, a whole lot has changed within me and I feel more confident in myself. The new me wanted to know why Claire had done all she did to me. I actually felt the need to go with Cameron for support but decided against it, I needed her to be free with me and Cameron's presence wouldn't ensure that. I wanted to know why she despised me, why she did not want me for her son as a mate but I was good enough as his whore. What was the whole point of all she did when it all boiled down to where we were now? I thought, stepping into the dungeon at the back of the huge mansion that was the palace. I walked through the passage,

CARAHis mate continued to move towards him. I shook my head at her with my eyes warning her to not near him. Against my warning, she went on to meet him.I gasped in terror, dreading what would happen as she reached out for his arm but he instead turned to face her calmly. With everyone focusing their gaze on them fearing what would happen next, the silence was heavy and one could make out the sound of a pin that dropped. With her slender hands, she cupped his chin, bringing his face to meet with hers. No one ever interrupted Cameron, not when he boiled with anger, or busy with something, not even while he still spoke. But his mate dared to approach him. We were all shocked at how easily her presence was able to quench the simmering annoyance burning in his chest.“This is a good sign.” I mused. I was pleased when I got to know that my brother had found his mate and honestly, I had been dying to meet her. The moment I met her, I could tell that she was the light in his darkness and

CAMERON It took a whole lot of back and forth negotiations between us and the northern lycan kingdom. Right before the representatives of the northern lycan territory, the council had decided the fate of the rogue Lycan- he was sentenced to life imprisonment after freeing his beast spirit. Funny enough, the same people that had banished him from their kingdom were now asking for him to be handed over to them. He happened to be son of the Chief elder in council of the northern lycan kingdom - a big disappointment to his father. These peeps were unbelievable.“I hope you know you are treading on delicate ground.” My father frowned, his features tightened into a dangerous expression. “Your Majesty, his lycan can be taken away from him here as passed.” He spoke warily, clearly feeling uneasy in his own skin.“So?” My father demanded. “Your Majesty, we… we… plead that you permit him to face his prison sentence on the shores of his father's land.” The bespectacled grey haired elder bo

CAMERON Mouse brown, frizzy hair, blotchy skin with scars all over. I immediately recognized the thin, malnourished body of the traitor lycan of the northern kingdom.Who would have thought that he would make an appearance and getting him would be so easy. He must have thought himself and his men well prepared for battle to have come this far. With my beast still thirsty for more of the bastard's blood, I pinned him to the ground with my fingers wound around his neck. I tightened my fingers causing him to gurgle up blood from his nostrils and mouth, releasing him when his eyelids shut close in weariness, his face had gone pale white. “Bind him with silver and bring him to the palace.” I gestured to the warriors who wasted no time in carrying out my order. My eyes scrutinized the spot where Landon had been bitten and saw that it wasn't so bad but still needed to be tended to. It was nothing his beast couldn't handle but we needed to be sure the bite wasn't poisoned. No one knew what

CAMERON I watched as the warriors train like never before. I had ordered all our warriors to be on extra training as we had had a few invasions into our territory with the perpetrators absconding successfully leaving us with nothing but minute traces. Not only was it frustrating, but also an embarrassment to the kingdom and I made sure to put everyone into shape. Within these few days, we had tightened the security around the borders. The number of warriors on patrol around the borders have doubled, each team been accompanied with two of our best trackers, while I made sure to cross check each patrol team to ensure no one was slacking in their responsibility. Not that anyone in their right mind would, you just can't tell. As the warriors wrapped up their training, and split themselves into different groups, the memories of the meeting we had held with the King of the Northern Lycan kingdom replayed itself on my mind. I, in the company of Landon and a few elders of the council had

  • The Lycan Prince's Mate    CHAPTER FORTY SEVEN

We made our way to the waiting cars as a group. We're traveling with all three cars in the mansion and our luggage had already been filed in the trunks of the cars the previous day. Lily hopped into the black Audi with her mate driving them both. While Cameron and I sit in the SUV with mom in the front passenger seat alongside Landon who would be driving us. The last car was to follow us from behind and it's being driven by someone I figured is from the council as it was pretty obvious from their aura that the two men in the car are Lycans. We arrived Silverton kingdom after what seemed like a long hell of a ride. If I'm not mistaken, it took us about three hours to get here. The Silverton kingdom, being in charge of all the wolves in the southern werewolf kingdom, had the council built on their land. Taking a good look at the areas my eyes can see at a time, it's clear that the land mass can certainly host three large packs of wolves.Landon made a detour through another tarred ro

OLIVIA In spite of Cameron's constant assurance of his family loving me ever since he told them he had found me, I still found myself being a little bit wary and uncertain. Today was the day we were to go back to his kingdom and despite not having to do so much, I still put in some effort to look elegant while still keeping it simple. I put on a pair of navy blue tailored skirt and a simple cream colored blouse. I styled my hair into a low ponytail and used the hot tong to curl a few strands into ringlets, letting them fall down the sides of my face. I looked into the mirror to check myself out when Cameron wrapped me with his arms, leaning his head on my shoulder. “You look just perfect.” He complimented, going ahead to kiss the nape of my neck. A tingle reverberated on the spot, spreading through my body. “Is Mac back?” I inquired from Cameron. Mac had gone to Cold Moon to pick up his mate, Lily. As someone who worked directly for the King, Mac was unable to stay elsewhere excep

  • The Lycan Prince's Mate    CHAPTER FORTY FIVE

CHAPTER FORTY FIVE OLIVIA My mate's deep voice filtering in my mind was no longer a surprise. Cameron often reached out to me whenever he felt my emotions and sometimes, he had a clue to my thoughts. ‘Nothing I can't handle.’ I answered. The last thing I wanted was for my mate to appear here because of this crazy nutcase. That would be so unnecessary plus, she was mine to handle. Suddenly, Lily shrieked in alarm. Lisa had drawn out the claws of her uninjured hand to attack me. I released my aura in full, hitting both Lisa and Bella who chose to make her appearance at this time with the latter flopping down on her friend. Unfortunately for Lily, she had her back smashed against the wall. I made a mental note to apologize to Lily later on. Bella as an alpha wolf, hoisted herself up almost immediately, looking astounded and annoyed. She sustained an injury from the fall as blood was trickling down the right side of her face. “What's the meaning of..” She paused, stopping to glare h
