A groan escapes as I roll over and slowly open my eyes. I reach for Tiernan, but all I find are cold sheets and an empty spot where he should be. I sit up when I feel a surge of anger. I cannot wait for this week to be over. I have been in Europe for four days and want to return home. While I love being here and seeing family this has been the longest four days, and I am more than ready to go home. Now I see why my great-great-grandfather moved his pack from Ireland to Louisiana.
