Chapter 36: Hidden

Athena’s POV

I couldn't sleep all night because the thought of Andrea in the pack troubles me. I knew Alpha Lucas had sent out his men to seek for me, and I had hidden from them.

It was a bright morning, and I had been up for most of the night; I didn't want to leave my tent and end up meeting Andrea; I wasn't sure she saw me the night before, and I wanted to keep it that way.

My babies were still asleep, and I smiled, they are all I need and my strength to keep going. I was abruptly awakened from my meditation when I heard a knock on the tent.

I moved away from my children and opened the tent, where I saw Grace standing before me, her brow furrowed with concern. "Alpha Lucas was busy searching for you last night, where did you go and when did you return to the tent, I intended to wait until I see you, maybe I fell asleep unconsciously," she said, and I smiled at how worried she looked for me.

"I'm so sorry; I had some personal matters to attend to. I hope Alpha Lucas wasn't upset?"
