Chapter 14: Stunning

Athena’s POV

I was completely engrossed at the moment as Andrew kissed me with such passion and love that I had never felt before. Daniel never kissed me, and when he does, it's out of obligation. I put my hand around his neck, and he drew me up, my legs dangling around his waist.

He gently pushed me against the wall and kissed me deeper until we heard a clearing of the throat, then he dropped me down, and I covered my face with my hair, embarrassed.

“Alpha!” I heard Beta Royce's voice and saw the disapproving expression on his face that he was trying so hard to disguise.

“What exactly is it, Royce?”Andrew inquired, his tone almost hostile.

“We need to see something at the border,” Beta Royce stated, and Andrew sighed, he must be upset about the cut-happy moments.

“We'll talk later,” he replied, and I nodded. I watched him walk away with Beta Royce, and as soon as he did, I exhaled the air I hadn't realized I was holding in.
