The beast was just as good as Sinclair. Whatever liquid he had taken had increased his already massive strength to a level I had not expected from him.

He had the skills and the stamina to rival me. He was definitely on drugs. He had boosted his strength to a level which I could not imagine.

When he moved like a blur towards me to smack me away, Martha came between us to protect me as she blasted him away with lightning which destroyed the land we stood on.

The shockwave from that blast had me flying backwards in surprise as I had not been expecting that kind of attack, while the beast fell to the ground, his body melting from the blast.

I got back up, ready to get back into the fight as Martha fell to the ground exhausted.

She had used up every ounce of energy she had in her body.
