“Did you know?” I asked Tyler, who looked at his head, unable to speak as Connor stood by his side.

“I didn’t know. I found out that day, but she asked me not to say anything to you because you would be furious,” Tyler explained as I sighed heavily, slamming my hand on the table.

“I asked you if there was anything you need to tell me. What did you say?” I raised a brow.

“I’m sorry. She asked me not to tell anyone about it,” he explained, glancing p at Connor, hoping he would get him out of this.

“It’s fine. I will have to look for her myself and see how it goes,” I said, letting out an exasperated sigh, thinking about how she looked at me before she got in that here.

Her eyes said everything I needed to know, but I was hoping I did not hurt her that much with what I had said earlier. I hoped I would explain everything to her and maybe she would understand why I said what I said.
