Fourteen

Alder's POV

We were still lying on my bed, and I was waiting for her to talk. She's quiet, and I feel worried that she's still mad at me. I know that I acted like a di**head when I marked her, but it was all I could do to make her stay. Now, even if I wanted to, I had to ask her permission if I wanted to complete the bond and mate with her.

She's acting according to the bond. That's why she couldn't help but want me as well, especially when I have already marked her. I felt guilty after I did that, but she shouldn't blame me because I had already talked to her and made an agreement. I was willing to help her and started planning our flight to L.A., but she was stubborn and very impatient.

"My love," I couldn't take the silence, so I called,

"I still hate you, so don't talk to me," she said, "I may want you, but that's only physical, and no other feelings but lust," she added, and that hurt like hell. I got up and looked at her.

"You made me do it."

"I don't care; that doesn't ch
