“There you are!”

My brows arched upwards as I watched the lady stop before me.

“I heard there was a new student,” she said with a smile that didn’t reach her eyes.

She stared at me for more than a minute and then walked away.

“After two weeks of teaching all of you the fundamentals of body training and your postures when attacking, we have to start the practical classes, as that is how you can learn.”

Her eyes fell on me, “although you might have missed the previous lessons, we cannot slow every other student down because of one.”
