Elena's POV

SOPHIA understood what I was going to do and she shook her head in defeat, moaning.

"No, no, no. Damn it, I knew I shouldn't have told you!." she shook her head about like a Barbie doll.

"Even if you hadn't, I would have found out. Where are they held?"

She bit her lip to stop herself from telling me more, but I just folded my hands, an eyebrow arched until she spilled.

"We might have an idea but it is not solid yet. Why?"

"An idea just popped into my head right now

"Look, there's got to be another way so you don't have to do this. Valerian's gonna kill me!" She hissed.

"He's not going to know."

"I find it hard to believe he's not going to know his wife is missing." she eyed me disbelievingly.

"That's not what I mean, and you know it." She was still angry and a little bit headstrong so I grabbed her hands, forcing her to look at me, really look at me while I pleaded with her. "I can't just do nothing while innocent people are being hurt in this tussle between us and my mat
