Chapter Seventy three

Valerian's POV

I WAS neck-deep in confusion.

The attacks were just coming back and forth so much that I couldn't step away from the command room for even a second. Only to catch a few hours of sleep and recharge.

Even as I spoke, I had to strain to keep my eyes open.

"What do you have?" I spoke to the man right beside me, one that Jared had entrusted to me in his absence, promising me he would deliver a good job. I knew I remembered his name but my sleep-deprived brain couldn't be bothered to dig it out.

"Okay sir…" he trailed off, tapping a large tablet in his hands before sliding it over to me. "We have noticed that the attacks are concentrated on one part of the city. The part that is weak in security and structure, and I have also noticed that they haven't deviated from that consecutive attacks." He explains while I make sense of what he's showing me.
