When the car stops at Rhiannon’s house in the territory, I jump down, running to meet her halfway.We collide, wrapping each other in a tight bear hug. I sniffle, tears spilling on my cheeks as I pull her closer.

“Gods, I missed you so much, Rose,” she sobs loudly, clutching onto me for dear life. “I thought I would never see you again.”
