First Meeting

"Prince Aiden!" She smiled.

The Tellurian prince bowed to greet the king and queen first before talking to Natalia.

"If Your Majesty will allow, I want to talk to Prince Aiden." She said.

King Lucius nodded in agreement so the two strolled onto the balcony.

"Aiden, why didn't you tell me?" She asked.

Aiden sighed. "Hey, it wasn't my idea. It was my brother's."

"Prince Alden?"

Aiden nodded. Alden was the second prince of Telluria and the twin brother of Aiden. When they first met, Alden played tricks on her by putting bubble gum into her hair. That was when she started hating him.

"But why?" She asked again.

"Well, he heard father talking about it. He asked me if I want to be your husband, and of course, I said no! Then he said he would present Alden as Tellurian's candidate. So he submitted my name before my father could submit his. I was surprised, too." Aiden explained.

She chuckled. "And do you think I wasn't?"

Then they laughed.

"Do we have to go out on a date? We don't have to. You known me since we were ten." Aiden said.

"That was my condition. So I have to be fair to everyone and follow it. Besides, I know you don't want to be my husband." She giggled.

Then Aiden's face became serious. It was the first time she saw him like that.

"And what if I do now?" Aiden asked while looking directly into her eyes.

She wasn't ready for his question. They were best friends for a long time and she had never thought of him as her future husband.

"A-Aiden, I-I"

Then Aiden burst out laughing.

"You should see the look on your face!"

She pouted and slap Aiden's shoulder.

"I hate you!"

Aiden couldn't stop laughing while she continued to slap his shoulder. And then he suddenly grabbed her by the wrist, pulling her closer to him. Her heart pounded and her eyes widened when she realized how close their faces were.

"A-Aiden, stop teasing me!"

"Lia, you know very well that I was in love with you. I confessed two years ago, but you rejected me. I decided to be your friend and I was happy about that because I wanted to be by your side. But the thought of you being with another man made me anxious. Alden submitted my name but I was thankful he did because I couldn't do it out of respect for our friendship. So I am hoping that you will look at me as a man and as your possible mate."

She stared into Aiden's eyes and saw the sincerity in his every word. She knew Aiden's feelings toward her, but she never considered it because of their friendship.

She was about to answer when someone grabbed her other wrist, pulling her away from Aiden.

Both of them were surprised. Aiden didn't let go of her and was trying to pull her back toward him.

"I don't think you should be hugging the princess without the proper introduction of the others. That's cheating." A masculine sexy voice said.

Her heart pounded again when she saw the man who was standing on her right side. He had black long hair, ponytailed in half. His eyes were black as the night sky and his lips were alluringly red. He was around six feet tall with broad shoulders and firm muscles in his arms.

"I am not cheating. I was just introducing myself to the princess." Aiden said with gritted teeth.

The one on her right was the Demon Prince Kai. She already saw his picture on the internet. She knew he was good-looking, but she didn't expect he was hot.

They said demons were like the gods and had a perfect appearance. She didn't believe it and didn't care about it, but now that she met Kai, she agree with what the rumor said.

"Prince Kai, you misunderstood. This is Prince Aiden, he's my best friend. Aiden, this is Prince Kai from the Demon Clan." She introduced the men to each other.

The two just nodded and no one wanted to let her go. She was beginning to get pissed, but she had to keep her cool.

"Can you please let go of me?" She politely asked.

The men were just staring at each other as if it was a contest. And no one wanted to give up.

"The Princess asked to let her go. I don't think it's a good idea to act like that. We're in Etholia. The strongest kingdom in Telluria. If you have a death wish by treating the next heir like a play thing, be my guest." Another man appeared.

When Natalia looked at the man, she saw Alpha Lucas standing by the balcony's door.

'He's hotter in person.' She thought to herself.

His green eyes were like emeralds and his messy blonde hair added to his charisma. She already felt suffocated seeing the three men surrounding him, but when the last candidate appeared, her heart pounded so loud.

"Stop holding the princess. We haven't properly introduced to everyone yet. If you act like that, you can be disqualified."

"Xander!" She called.

They haven't seen each other for four years and she admits he's way too handsome compared to their last meeting.

How could she forget that Vampire Prince who had an angelic face and a gentle voice? He always teased her and love pulling out her ponytail.

Xander had white short hair and had a rose tattoo on his neck. His eyes changed colors from grey to red. When it's grey, it glittered like a star with the light of the moon. But when his fangs appeared, they changed into bloody red color.

"Hello, princess. Did you miss me?" Xander smirked.

Nothing changed. He was still that conceited. She thought to herself.

Aiden was still holding on to her wrist and so as Prince Kai. So when Alpha Lucas and Xander started walking closer to them, she felt like her heart would burst out of her chest.

And now, she was completely surrounded by four handsome and hot men. Her knees suddenly weakened when she felt the warmth from their bodies. She looked at them one by one to see where the attraction she felt at the moment was the strongest.

"What the hell is going on?" It was Nilenia. "Let go of my sister, now!"
